Galvynn's question wet unanswered. As soon as his hand was in Hylltywyll's, that was enough of a gesture for him to consider it agreeing to the deal. The Fairy yanked Galvynn's hand forward and bit it. The bite itself was harmless, his pointy teeth not even putting enough pressure to draw blood, but what followed was what mattered. Immediately, he began to drain the magical energy from Galvynn. Powerful light magic with a hint of earth. The light magic was filling, as powerful as it was, but Hylltywyll was already a powerful user of the light domain himself. He savored the flavor of the earth domain much more, like an exotic spice mixed into an otherwise bland but filling stew. He guzzled it happily until there was barely enough magic left in Galvynn for him to not be in danger of dying.
He finally released his hand and let out a satisfied sigh, content with his meal. He looked at the big badger who still had a bucket on his head. He grabbed the handle and gave it a tug, freeing the badger's face from its fishy smelling prison. The badger was lucky it hadn't tried to interfere with Hylltywyll draining its master of his magic, thanks to it being too preoccupied with the bucket on its head. But now it could see Galvynn lying on the ground, drained.
"Carry him." Hylltywyll said, gesturing at Galvynn. He tapped the man on the head and he began to float weightlessly while Hyll pushed him through the air to settle on the badger's back.
He could have dined and dashed, but a deal was a deal. He'd promised to take him and all the fishermen off this island, so he would. Now he just needed to get the attention of the fishermen and stop them from eating Josh. He took a deep breath before letting out a loud, shrill scream that caused everyone to stop and cover their ears. Their attention forcefully grabbed, he waited until they all looked his way, their hearing no longer filled with howling and screaming, and called out to them.
"I'm taking you all off this island now. Hurry up and get your stuff together."

Galvynn flicks his hand and stretches in a bit. This was not the first, nor would it be the last, time he had his hand in something's mouth. Many animals tended to investigate things mouth first and his dealings with young animals meant a lot of exploratory bites. This was honestly on the more gentle side. And thanks to a source of magic that wasn't entirely his own, the druid managed to stay on his feet though his spellcasting might be a little impacted.
He scratches Bucky's head with a smile, "Don't worry I am fine....it is kind of like stinging nettles mixed with poison ivy if that makes sense." He gives his hand a little shake to flick off any residue.
Josh lets out a sigh of relief, though seeing who is offering rescue, he is not sure if it is actually a rescue. He slowly edges down from the tree and starts to join the beach crew. The other fisherman share similar confusion and trepidation towards their supposed savior.
"Let's go!" Galvynn smiles and waves across the beach. "Best option we got right? Not like we are on the back of some giant turtle that we can ask to take us back."

Galvynn was mostly right. They weren't on the back of a giant turtle. They were on the back of a Shoalback Leviathan, a whale-like sea creature, though no one here actually knew that. The mystery of how their fishing spot floated out into the ocean would remain a mystery unless they were curious enough to investigate and had a way of returning to the island and taking a look at its underside. Something for Hylltywyll to do after all these fishermen were gone.
The fishermen didn't know what to do. Even with the small creature saying he was going to take them home, there was no obvious path to take. No bridge or boat was conjured, no doorway to walk through. They just looked at each other for a moment before doing as instructed. They gathered their things, picking up their fishing rods and lugging the buckets of fish they'd spent all morning collecting.
Hylltywyll wasn't very patient. He gave them all looks to hurry it up as he waited, his arms crossed in front of him. If they took too long, they would just have to leave behind what they didn't take in time.
As soon as one fisherman had his arms full of rods and a bucket, Hylltywyll put a hand on his leg and, without warning, the fisherman felt himself suddenly falling, straight down through the shadow of the tree he was standing under. He let out a yelp before he vanished, finding himself in some place that was entirely dark.
The rest of the fishermen who saw this looked startled, not knowing what just happened to their companion. They'd been promised a way home, but this wasn't at all what they thought that would look like.
Hylltywyll turned to the nearest fisherman and scurried over to him, doing the same. He dropped into the darkness with a yelp and found himself in the same place as the first. They whispered fearfully to each other as they glanced around unable to see each other or anything else around them.
One by one, all the fishermen vanished, until it was only Hylltywyll, Galvynn, and the badger remaining.
Hylltywyll held a hand out, gesturing for the pair to enter the large shadow of the tree, ready to place a hand on them to allow them to sink into it.

If Galvynn had figured out the trick to this island, it might have made things easier since he could reason with the leviathan. Though it might have still wanted a snack which meant Josh would still be eaten....though being eaten by an animal is better than being eaten by fellow people. It probably didn’t make a huge difference to Josh, thankfully they didn’t have to ask.
Once more the druid shows no hesitation in trusting Hyll. He had been nothing but fair with Galvynn and was really pretty friendly. Galvynn smiled, happy to be working with a new friend, and headed over to him.
Even in the sudden darkness, he just assumed this was a part of the deal. He was going to end up actually trapped by some strange magical creature at this point. Maybe by then he will have learned enough about the world to at least be prepared with some sort of escape plan. For now, if this was his final moment at least it was kind of nice.

While the fishermen were frightened and unable to see, considering themselves possibly trapped in this place, Hylltywyll called this darkness his home. He wanted these fishy-smelling strangers in his home for as little time as possible. Once Galvynn and his pet were in, he followed them through the shade into the dark space.
As quickly as they'd found themselves falling into the space, fishermen one after the other found themselves being ejected from it. In the shade of another tree, this time on the shore near the Luna Inlet where they'd been trying to fish in the first place, they fell out of the shade beneath the swaying branches and onto the soft grass, their equipment and catch of the day in their arms. Once all of the fishermen were out, Hylltywyll gave Galvynn a push, letting him and Bucky out in the same place.
All around, everyone was gathering their things. Fish that had fallen out of their buckets and nets and rods that had dropped from their arms as they flopped onto their backs in the grass. Josh didn't stick around for long. He was already running back home before anyone could make another move for him. Hopefully everyone else's behavior on the island was a one time thing, but he didn't think he'd be working with these people anymore just in case.
"Hey, where's my coin purse?" One fisherman asked, feeling his pockets. Another fisherman noticed his earring was gone and another realized his pants were falling down as his silver belt buckle was gone, along with his belt. Several more noticed some other belongings missing, varying in value, but all something shiny. They looked around for their possessions, but couldn't find them anywhere.
Sadly for them, the perpetrator that had fleeced them all in the dark was nowhere to be seen. Hylltywyll hadn't followed them out of the shadows onto the shore, instead choosing to stay in his home and look over the new additions to his hoard. He was especially happy with the smooth, shiny river stones he'd picked off of Galvynn. He had kept his part of the bargain, returning everyone to shore, but he had never said anything about all of their belongings.

The drop in weight in one of his pockets did not go unnoticed, but it did just mean that Galvynn got to go search for me. Robbing someone who doesn’t place much value on physical possessions probably isn’t as fun, but the druid has a feeling that Hyll doesn’t steal for the thrill of it or to harm others, but more just cause he can or finds something interesting.
“I believe that was probably your payment for being brought over.” Galvynn smiles and turns back to the island as it becomes a dot in the distance and waves. “THANk YOU HYLLTYWYLL.”
Whether or not Hyll could hear him, he wanted to offer the thanks. The fisherman awkwardly collect up their things before walking away. They were a little more chagrined by the whole ordeal. Some of them consider changing professions, others quietly mutter about never fishing in this bay again. Josh has likely decided to become a hermit, never interacting with humans again after realizing how quickly they turn to cannibalism, even when there is plentiful food like fish and fruit.
Galvynn does stick around for a bit watching the fisherman go. He glances back towards the island occasionally, curious if Hyll will make a return. If he does, then it is just about saying thanks again and telling him where he found the river stones in case Hyll wanted more. Otherwise when darkness started to settle he would wave one last time to the island before heading back to the woods.
