Yasei grumbled to himself as he was turned away from yet another tavern. Every bar, tavern, and inn he went to told him the same things. It was Hearth Day, couples only, reservation only, we have no space left, no dogs allowed... That last one was honestly just told to him by one guy, but it was really hurtful! Not as hurtful as the punch he gave the guy that said it to him though. Actually, did that guy even work at that bar or was he just a drunk patron heckling the wrong guy? Well whatever, Yasei probably wasn't going to be allowed into that bar anymore after sending a guy flying through their wall and then running away.
He walked down the road, the crowd parting to make way for the obviously annoyed Koma-Inu. Maybe he should just call it a night and find somewhere to go to sleep. He was even starting to get annoyed just seeing all the couples walking around, arm in arm, not even going into any of the taverns. What a waste! Didn't they see all the signs for the ridiculous discounts on food and drink these places were giving because of the day?

The classic conundrum - Morrigan Moonweaver was all dressed up with nowhere to go.
Not for lack of trying, mind. They were already wearing their most elegant wizard hat and silk robes that trailed to the floor, the kind of colorful, star-adorned getup that would get anyone to turn their head. Just a casual, Friday night getup. They’d hoped to do a little bar-hopping, play some cards, charm some drinks out of some bartenders… and yet, somehow, they seemed to have found the most busy crowded street in all of Sol City. Every single bar they’d tried to obtain entry to was full. Every single one. How was that even possible? And why were there so many people holding hands-?
Oh. It’s Hearth Day.
Between months of great heists, self-actualization, travel, and various other schemes and scams Morrigan found themselves in, they’d somehow lost track of the date. Hearth Day was normally an important day for the Wizard of the Wastes; it was the day they sold the most in chocolates, prank candies, and bunk love potions. Hell, it was possibly their most lucrative holiday! How did they miss it! Were they slipping?
Without realizing it, they’d started twisting one of the rings on their finger; the only gold band amongst swaths of moon-touched silver. Kvasir’s ring.
Oh, that was right. Last year, they’d spent the holiday with him - met his family, had a downright lovely time. And this year…
They needed a drink.
… Which brought them to their current conundrum, the glaring signs, mocking them. If Morrigan had known it was Hearth Day, hell, they would have brought along Mariposa to play as their date! But as it was their songstress follower was off doing a show, and they were out of luck.
It was then they spotted the rather large furry man, expression twisted in frustration and displeasure. The face only someone who had been spurned by love could wear.
Oh, Morrigan could work with this.
“Excuse me, good sir!” They raised their voice as they picked up their stride to approach the gentleman, projecting an aura of confidence and calm, a grin they hoped was charming on their face. “I couldn’t help but notice you pacing in front of these good taverns with a look so sour on your countenance that is ill-becoming on a day so sweet. Has the warmth of the Hearth rejected you? No need to fret… I think I have a proposition that might benefit the both of us.”
Their rings clicked where they clapped their hands together. Perhaps, on a night like tonight, looking every bit as sleazy as they sounded. Oh, well. But, as the saying went - nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Yasei stopped walking as someone suddenly ran in front of him and started talking to him. They spoke so fast and with too many long, fancy words for Yasei to immediately understand what they were trying to get at. Yasei was left scratching his head and trying to piece together the conversation between all the words he didn't know. Man, he really needed to work on his common tongue some more if everyone in this city was going to talk like this.
Yasei's sour countenance changed to a look of confusion. He raised one eyebrow and tilted his head as he looked down at this unknown individual.
He towered over the much smaller purple person, but felt an odd sense of being outmatched at the moment, at least in fast-talking conversation in a foreign language, in a foreign city. Ugh, was this something like what Aleaphe felt like back in Starlight City? He guessed she'd felt even worse then. At least he knew enough common to get by in most cases.
"Ah, I guess?" He replied uncertainly, with his Crescent Islander accent. He figured the gist of what they were saying was that he looked like he was having a bad time because of Hearth Day. "Proposition...?" He asked, once again trying to just figure the gist of the word rather than actually knowing what it meant. He wished he had his Common to Crescent Islander translation dictionary with him at the ready like Kou told him to. Too bad it was tucked away somewhere in his giant tail that he couldn't find. He'd have to look for it later. Maybe he should stop putting things in there. They always just ended up lost in there.

Wow, this stranger towered over Morrigan. If they accidentally angered him, then there was a chance this could get nasty really fast. It wouldn’t be the first time they’d find themselves punched by a stranger for sticking their nose where it didn’t belong.
No. That was neither here nor there. Morrigan might have been making a proposal of dubious nature, but not at this man’s expense. And they had his attention. That was the first step.
Morrigan clapped their hands together, tail swishing behind them as they formulated their next words. The gentleman’s accent struck a chord with the charlatan. “Ah, a Crescent Island native, are you? I’ll have you know, a good friend of mine hails from the islands!” They were, of course, referring to the shaman, Shitakibo; a fact that seemed pointless to bring up, but when trying to convince someone to do what you wanted, it was important to establish common ground.
And they hadn’t been punched yet, which was a good sign.
“Why, of course! I come to you today with a simple offer. It is Hearth Day, and as you can see, most Zeinavian taverns are closed save only to couples. Which brings me to my point. I must assume a man such as yourself, so far away from his home and family, is without a date. My point here being… you need a drink. I need a drink. What’s stopping us from simply… pretending to be a couple to attain entry into one of these fine establishments?”
The plan was simply foolproof!

Oh, so this guy knew someone from the Crescent Isles? Yasei wondered for a moment if they meant Kou, but what a small world it would be if that was the case. They were both Fellbloods though, so maybe there was some kind of relation, however distant. Maybe a cosmic relation more than an actual family one.
Yasei listened to their sales pitch, nodding along to show they had his attention. It was true he was pretty far from home. Farthest he'd ever been in his life. There was a pang of sadness at the mention of being so far from his family, but he guessed that was also true in a manner of speaking. And he really did need a drink. This sales pitch was making so much sense to Yasei, it was almost like this Fellblood did this kind of thing for a living!
Yasei's smile widened and he laughed out loud, garnering a few looks from passerby, but they didn't do anything more than look before they kept walking, not wanting to get on the bad side of the huge stranger. With one giant paw, he scooped Morrigan off their feet and into one arm, carrying them like a parent holding a baby.
"Sounds good to me!" Yasei declared enthusiastically. Maybe this was just what he needed to turn his sour mood around and actually enjoy this holiday. The little Fellblood wasn't really his type, but he wasn't above pretending they were for some free booze.
He walked right up to the bar that he wanted to get into the most, the one that said couples drank free. Well, guess who was in a couple now!
The bouncer at the door stopped him. "Uh, couples only..." He said with a hint of worry. He looked pretty strong, but he definitely wasn't near as large as Yasei was, and looked well aware of that.
"We are a couple." Yasei answered, pointing at Morrigan in his arm.
The bouncer looked the couple up and down dubiously, not really believing such a pair could... No, you know, he didn't care. He didn't want to know how that would even work. He shook his head and stepped aside, holding an arm out to show the two could enter, and Yasei walked right on in with a big smile.

Well. Morrigan hadn’t expected the big gent to accept their proposition so easily, nor did they -
Oh, oh shit, he was picking them up like Morrigan weighed little more than an apple! Morrigan let out an indignant screech that drew the attention of virtually every other passerby that hadn’t already been looking at them as the fuzzy stranger cradled them like a child. Ginma, they had to act natural. They couldn’t draw attention to the two of them and cast any suspicion on this ruse before it even started! They wanted this drink, gods damnit!
Morrigan forced their screech to turn into a giggle, patting Yasei on the arm with an expression they hoped was smitten. “OH, you never fail to sweep me off my feet, uh - Sweetie!” They shouted loud enough for everyone else in the vicinity to hear.
Ugh, the sacrifices they made for the greater good.
This stranger wasn’t their type either, but Morrigan would have to make do given there were some very redeeming qualities about him - namely, he was single, here, and willing to go along with this scheme. So Morrigan let him carry them through the threshold to the Shangri-la of free cocktails and liquor.
The bouncer gave them a suspicious look, and Morrigan figured it was time to ramp up the act. “Yes, of course. This here is my beau, my partner, my, uh…” quick, what was a good, schmoopy term of endearment for this guy, “My Fuzzy Lumpkins. Come on…” SHIT, now they needed a name! “Chad, let’s go get something to drink! For free, because we are indeed a couple.”
Okay, perhaps they were laying it on a bit too thick. Whatever got the job done, though, because the bouncer let the both of them into the bar with an expression that said he’d rather not know. Morrigan kept up the smile until they were safely inside.
“Alright, you can put me down now.” Morrigan muttered, quiet enough that only Chad could hear. “We can probably drop the act that we’re now inside.”
Oh, if only it would be that easy. But before Morrigan could say anything else the two were ushered to a booth by a waitress dressed like an Angel, complete with a little bow and a quiver full of arrows with little hearts instead of arrowheads, escorted the two to a private booth, the only empty one in this packed tavern.
A table covered in rose petals and tasteful ambiance.
This was going to be harder than Morrigan thought.

Yasei smiled wide and nodded along with everything his pretend partner was saying. It took him some willpower not to laugh though once he was given a fake name. Chad? Where did they think of the name Chad? Fuzzy Lumpkins, at least he understood the first word and it was pretty accurate. Hana used to call him lots of pet names that started with fuzzy. Ah, there was another pang of sadness at the thought.
He should think of a fake name for them too, since they thought of one for him, right? What was a good name? This was Capitol Landing, not the Crescent Isles. He needed to think of a name that suited this area. What was one he heard someone say?
"Mm, let's go, Stacy." Yasei said cheerily as he walked in with his new... beau...? in his arms. "Hah, you don't like being in my arms?" Yasei whispered teasingly back with a chuckle, but didn't put them down.
He carried them all the way to the booth, wanting to keep up appearances. He finally set Stacy down in one of the seats of the booth and then squeezed into the opposite side. The table wasn't attached to the floor. The entire table shifted as far from Yasei as possible to make space for the giant Lion-dog, pinning Stacy to the back of their booth even while still pressing hard into Yasei's gut. This was why Yasei preferred regular tables, but this looked like the only free table in the whole bar. They must have been just lucky enough to snag the last one, but not lucky enough for it to be at all comfortable.
Maybe this would be harder than he thought.

Stacey?
STACEY?
Morrigan supposed they deserved this by being the first one to pick a dumb name. Though they really should have hoped for a more classy name, like Crystal. Hell, they would have taken Samantha…
Yet, ‘Stacey’ couldn’t show any irritation at the name lest they give away the game. Only when Morrigan and Chad had made it inside their destination did they pull themselves out of his grip. They wrinkled their nose as he teased them. “I’ll be getting hair out of my mouth for days.” They replied, voice a soft hiss. They were honestly grateful to find someone single and willing to pull this scam off, yet they were struck with the sinking feeling that these two were an utterly ill-fated pairing.
A match made in hell.
They’d hoped for some space - wishes that were not answered when they laid eyes on the last open booth in the bar.
Morrigan pulled themselves into a seat at the same time Yasei did, only to be rammed into the seat by the table, which had been dislodged by Yasei shoving himself into the other side. The air was promptly knocked out of their lungs in a pained wheeze; they wiggled, but there was no escaping the trap they’d set for themselves.
“Good evening and happy Hearth Day to the lovely couple!” A server approached them. “Can I get you two started off with something to drink?”
Morrigan let out yet another pained wheeze they hoped sounded like an affirmative, and gave her a thumbs up. It was then the woman finally took a good look at the two in the booth, and her smile widened.
“Well aren’t you two an adorable couple! Your colors even match! Tell me, how did you two first meet?”

Shoot, they'd been seated for less than a minute and they were already being questioned about their relationship. They hadn't even had any time to discuss their cover story or anything! Damn, why was the service at a restaurant always so slow until you actually wanted them to give you a little time? Well, he'd just have to keep acting.
"Ah, our colors really do match, don't they? Purple and pink!" Yasei laughed, reaching across the table and pulling Stacey forward to shove their face into his beard again, making it more like weeks instead of days to get all the hair out of their mouth.
Since they hadn't spoken about it before now, Yasei would just have to make up a story right now. He was sure Stacey wouldn't mind at all. He gave the purple Fellblood across from him a wide, devious smile before turning to the waitress cheerily.
"Oh, we met... on a boat! On our way here from the Crescent Isles. They were throwing up with seasickness so bad, it was terrible, but I carried them around to get them cleaned up and then back to their cabin to rest. Ah, the boat rocked at just the wrong time. Or maybe just the right time. I fell into the bed with them in my arms." Yasei told the story, eyes closed, arms mimicking carrying someone princess style, acting as if they were reminiscing about the made up event.
The waitress listened with her hands on her cheeks, a warm smile on her face.
"Aww, that's so romantic!" She said, fully sincere. She didn't even seem phased by seasickness part that Yasei had thrown in there just to tease Stacey. "It's like the ocean itself wanted you two to be together!"
Even Yasei was a little surprised just how easily she believed his story and how emotional she was about it.
"A- Ahh, Yeah! The ocean itself... Eheheh." He repeated, a bit bewildered. "Ah, could we get some drink?. Do you have any sake...?" He asked.
The waitress wiped some tears from her eyes. "Oh right! I know the perfect drink for you both! We call it a sea breeze. Just like the breeze when you two first met! I'll have those right out!"
"Hah? Wait!" Yasei started, but she was gone. Yasei didn't even have time to get another word in before she took off to get them the perfect, romantic cocktails she promised, fitting of how she believed they first met. Yasei wished he'd just said they met at a bar that only served sake.
He looked back to Stacey with a sullen expression. "I wanted sake..." He muttered sadly.

Gods. Were people in bars always this nosy about other people’s business? Morrigan wanted to melt into their chair and disappear… an impossible feat, given, you know. The fact that they were being pinned to the back of the wall by their much bigger partner in crime. Morrigan opened their mouth to make some quip about purple being the superior color -
A poor choice, given that the second they did, they were pulled into another tight hug by Chad, getting more hair in their mouth.
“BLEGH-” They recoiled, spitting hair out all over their table. Thankfully, the waitress was distracted from the veritable hairball Morrigan just coughed up by the story that Chad was weaving.
And oh, Stacey absolutely minded the tale he was telling.
They’d never be so gauche as to throw up on a ship! Morrigan was a pillar of beauty and elegance… and even if they weren’t, those moments were secrets that would die with them! Morrigan had to hide a scowl behind the sleeve of their silk brocade while Chad continued fucking up their reputation (which, admittedly, wasn’t even a reputation when they were using a fake name). But they could endure it. For the drinks.
Morrigan let out a relieved breath when the waitress promised them their drinks -
“No!”
Morrigan turned to Yasei with a withering expression on their face. “I wanted a Blood and Sand… at the very least some wine would have been nice.” They grumbled. “And what the hell was with that cover story? It wasn’t believable at all - who in their right mind would buy that I, of all people, have thrown up on a ship before? I’m fixing this travesty.”
It didn’t take long for the waitress to return with whatever a Sea Breeze was; perhaps Yasei might have offered resistance, but Morrigan was bound and determined to rectify the situation. They waved her down when they spotted her approaching with two glasses.
“Ah, Madame! Madame. I’m afraid that my boyfriend Chad here wasn’t remembering our first meeting properly. You see, the truth is, he was the one throwing up, and I was the one who, uh-“ Oh hell, wait. There was no way they could carry someone like him in his arms. “I bravely used my magic to escort him back to his bedroom! That’s the truth of what happened!”
The last thing they expected was for the waitress to narrow her eyes, grip rightening on the glass of the cocktails in her hands.
“Forgetting how you first met doesn’t sound very romantic… are you two sure you’re even in love?”

Yasei let out a loud laugh that startled the waitress. She stopped her suspicious glare at Stacey and looked to Yasei with slight confusion.
"Sorry! They just get so embarrassed about throwing up that they always try to lie about the story. They're real sensitive about looking bad. They even pretend they can use magic!" Yasei chuckled and placed a giant paw on Morrigan's head, ruffling their hair and completely ruining their styling.
"Ah, that's just another thing I love about them though. I think it's really cute when they try to lie. They're so bad at it, right?" He said with a big smile, looking to the waitress.
She stifled a giggle and looked at Morrigan with a smile. It looked like her suspicions were gone thanks to Yasei's natural charisma. He wasn't the smartest guy, but he knew how to improv. He loved telling stories with his old guard buddies, and had found he had a knack for it. She placed the cocktails on the table. She turned around and was about to start walking away when Yasei stopped her.
"Miss, can I get a refill? These are pretty good." He said, holding up his already empty glass. He really wanted some sake, but this ocean breeze wasn't half bad. It was strong. Mostly rum with just a bit of lemon and something blue and sweet that he wasn't familiar with. He'd wasted no time downing the entire glass like it was little more than a shot.
She looked surprised for a moment, but took the empty glass and nodded before rushing off.
Yasei waited until she was gone and then looked at Stacey, annoyed. "Oy, are you trying to get us kicked out? Who forgets how they first met? Tsk." Yasei whispered, shaking his head.

“Chad’s” next declaration made Morrigan’s grip tighten on their glass, their neck whipping in his direction so quickly they could have cracked their spine from the effort. They did, however, spill liquor and sugar all over their pristine shirt.
“Wha – you –“
Their inelegant stammering was interrupted by a large paw ruining a look that had taken them hours to perfect, and Morrigan wondered when the humiliation they’d brought upon themselves would end. Not for the last time they wondered if they should have just stayed in the wagon with a bottle of rum and a steamy romance novel.
“Can I get another too…?” The charlatan muttered, holding up their empty glass, looking considerably less buzzed than Yasei, on account of the fact that they’d not even managed a sip of their drink before getting it spilled all over themselves.
She offered them a thin smile, grabbing their glass with Yasei’s and breezing off. Morrigan turned to Yasei with a scowl, ready to retort with their own list of grievances. “And what about you, Chad? What was with that unromantic story? As if anyone would believe someone could fall in love over turbulent seas and vomit. You couldn’t have come up with anything better?”
They crossed their arms – or tried to, at least. But it was difficult to move squashed in this booth.
“Some Hearth Day. A random waitress thinks I’m some seasick magicless pathological liar.” Which was pretty much exactly what they were, but, you know. That would require a level of self-reflection Morrigan was not capable of.
“Look, this has been fun and all, but this wasn’t exactly what I had in mind when it came to free drinks. We’ve got to do something dramatic. Up the ante. Free drinks are one thing – I’m in it for the free meal. We need to convince them that we are so soul-wrenchingly in love… that doesn’t involve lying about me vomiting.”

"Hahhhh? That story was romantic! That's how one of my old buddies told me he met his wife." Yasei retorted, crossing his arms in front of him. "He said he fell in love with her as soon as he looked at her face as she held him in her arms. It was super romantic." He pouted. He always thought that was such a nice story. Thinking about it again after all this time, now he felt a pang of sadness knowing that guard buddy and his wife were long gone. He'd never hear that guy tell the story during their lunch break again. That guy told his love story a little too often sometimes, but Yasei would still miss hearing it now.
Yasei looked downcast for a moment before he gave Stacey another wry smile. "Well that last bit sounds true." He joked with a chuckle. His fake romance partner was definitely a liar, but then again, so was he at the moment. He could still make fun of them for it though.
Yasei's stomach hurt from the table digging into it so much, and he noticed Stacey didn't look too comfortable on their side of the table either. He got a good idea. With a few grunts and grimaces, Yasei squeezed back out of the booth. He let out a sigh of relief as his stomach was freed from that torture, but sadly, it wouldn't last.
"Move over." He said as he stepped over to Stacey's side of the table and began to squeeze in next to them without waiting for them to protest, pushing them deeper into the booth. Stacey went from being pinned against the back of their booth by the table to being pinned against the wall at the back of the booth by another wall made of fluff and muscle.
Yasei stomach pushed the table all the way to the back of the seat on the opposite side. Without having another perosn in the seat across from him, the table pressed against him a lot less than before, though it was still a bit tight for him. It was downright roomy for his partner now though, with the table now a couple feet away. Well it would be roomy if not for the giant Koma-Inu sharing their booth.
Getting all the hair out of Morrigan's mouth went from taking weeks to taking months as Yasei threw and arm over their shoulder and held them close.
"There, now isn't this romantic?" Yasei said with a chuckle. If Morrigan had regrets about this situation, they'd have to wait. There was no escape now with Yasei blocking any exit.

Somebody actually met like that? More importantly, they’d gotten married after the fact? Morrigan wrinkled their nose, missing the morose look that crossed Chad’s face as the memories overtook him. “Now that’s not romantic, that’s simply an amusing first meeting tale. Real romance is in grand gestures, declarations of joy and appreciation! Real romance is about devotion. Passion! Gravitas! Adoration! Excitement!” With each word their assertion grew in a crescendo; Morrigan certainly seemed confident in what they were saying for someone who’d never been in a true relationship.
There had been lovers, yes… a string of intimacy without feelings, and more importantly, people whose wallets and jewelry Morrigan had stolen as they left. They were perhaps the last person who should be giving any kind of advice on what it meant to love another person.
Wait, what was Chad doing?
“No, there’s no room here -“
Morrigan’s protests fell on deaf ears as Morrigan was suddenly squished against the wall, all the air promptly knocked out of their lungs.
At least they weren’t being smothered by the table anymore.
“You think this is romantic?” Morrigan demanded, incredulous. Or at least, they tried to demand, though what Chad heard was, “MHOU MRHPGG MBPHINK MPR GNDM MROMNTIC?”
The waitress certainly seemed to think so, because as she passed by, she stopped to smile at them. “Aw, now isn’t that sweet?”
That was it. This was officially the worst hearth day ever. What would Kvasir say if he saw Morrigan like this now?
Why did Morrigan care what Kvasir thought about this moment in particular?
Morrigan wriggled, pulling themselves free just enough to catch their breath; they spat out their hair and glowered at Chad.
“Merely cuddling together in public isn’t enough to be romantic! It needs to mean something! Here, like this. Let me up.”
Assuming Yasei would let Morrigan, the fellblood would wriggle out and pull themselves onto a standing position on the table. Grabbing one of the glasses and a fork, Morrigan tapped the utensil against the glass so it rang about the room. A few curious couples turned in Morrigan’s direction. It wasn’t exactly a grand audience, but it would have to do. “Attention, ladies and gentlemen! To celebrate this very fine day, I have prepared something very special for my partner. I would be very honored if you all allowed me to sing it right here, right now!”
They cleared their throat, ready to serenade Yasei.
“Oooooohhhhhhhhh-“
It was at this moment that they slipped on one of the rose petals on the table.

Yasei raised an eyebrow as Stacey struggled out of the seat next to him and climbed onto the table, but his smile didn't fade. He was more curious to see what they were about to do than anything. Until they announced to the whole bar that they wanted to sing for him in front of them all. His mouth fell open in horror. He wasn't very easily embarrassed. He liked to laugh insults and stumbles off like they were just jokes, but oh gods, this was just mortifying.
If that rose petal hadn't brought Stacey down, Yasei probably would have done it himself.
Stacey slipped and fell, their face on a direct collision course with Yasei's. He was still struck by the horror of being publically sung to, and wasn't expecting the sudden fall. He was caught off guard and couldn't react in time to prevent what happened next. It almost would have been a new story of a romantic little accident, slipping and falling into a kiss. It would have been if not for two things. One, they weren't actually dating, they were just faking this whole thing for free booze. And two, the aim was a bit off.
"Urgh!" Yasei let out a surprised grunt as one of Stacey's horns and his forehead clashed with a thud. It was painful, but thankfully he was tough enough that such a blow wouldn't knock him out. It barely even left a mark on his forehead. He grabbed Stacey and pulled them off the table, shoving them back into their seat next to him, but this time the arm he put around them was much more firmly holding them in place against his side. He wouldn't let them do that again.
"Sorry! The drinks here are so good, they must have gotten a little tipsy already and slipped!" Yasei announced to the room with a big smile. Then he looked at Stacey and, in a stage whisper that he wanted people to hear, "It's too dangerous to climb on a table lie that again, but thank you. That was so romantic!" He almost shouted.
He wrapped his arm tight around Stacey, holding them close against his side just a bit too tight for comfort. He looked down at them with a big smile on his mouth, but his eyes had a fire behind them as they glared.
"What are you doing? Are you trying to get us kicked out?" He asked in a low growl, this time actually keeping his voice down so no one else could hear him. Yasei took a deep breath and calmed down. He huffed and looked at Stacey again, but now with more annoyance than actual anger. "Big gestures like that aren't romantic at all. It's little things that are romantic, like..." Yasei began, his expression shifting from annoyance to sadness as he remembered the things he and Hana had done for each other that he thought was romantic. "Like buying them the little pair of earrings they wouldn't stop looking at whenever you walked by that jewelry stall, or remembering their birthday when they didn't, or scratching them behind the ears when they look a little stressed..." His cheeks turned pink as he said the last one, looking away from Stacey and raising his free hand to behind his ear.
The waitress came over and left two more sea breezes. She saw a Yasei that was blushing after the grand display Stacey had put on and was now snuggling them even closer than before. She gave them both a smile and walked away without a word, thinking the cute couple was having a moment. Yasei grabbed both glasses, one after the other, and downed them each in an instant as soon as she was gone.
