A soft red tinge would darken the Moon Elf's lavender cheeks as Qastrel's hand had softly brushed up against it. This action, having been paired with her previously having left this hand on his chest, had brought more emotion to the elf than he had initially anticipated. When it came to dolling out compliments and affectionate acts, he was the most comfortable that he could be. But when similar acts had been turned back against him? He was nearly weak kneed in response. Of course this was something that Rinn would do his best not to show, the hand that he used to previously boop her nose now coming to rest over his face, palm facing up towards the sky. "That certainly sounds like something that I could enjoy as well.."
Unfortunately that wasn't a life that he had been all that willing to commit to. Not at this moment anyways. Although he was hesitant to admit it, his was a life filled with travel and combat. While he would appreciate the time that he could spend alongside the Chthoni, he also knew that he would come to regret it if he settled down here for awhile. Rather than come right out and say as much though, Rinn would instead opt to play things out a bit differently. "At the same time, however, I feel as though we'd both be better suited outside of the city. For the time being that is. If you, Qastrel, are willing to drag me along with you, in search of your people, than I'd be more than willing to go. All you have to do is say the word."
By this point, Rinn would squirm about beneath Qastrel, maneuvering himself so that he could sit up without bumping beaks with her. Once he was assured of the fact that he wouldn't quite do so, Rinn would return to his seated position by her side, his hand no longer covering his face. "I'll always be a letter away, yeah? So whenever you truly need me, just reach out and I'll make my way by your side." Such things were easily achieved by messenger drakes, of course, and this was something that Rinn was likely relying on in such a situation. "And hey.." His gaze remaining firmly upon her, Rinn's childish grin would come back in fully force, his hand reaching out to softly push her shoulder in a playful manner. "You deserve all of the good things that can come your way, you know? So try not to think that you don't."
