Sarne again was in Dragon's Cradle in Sky Peak city. The winter was going to be bad from what people were saying. This province would not be prepared for this. Sarne had seen more than just structures that needed to get ready nothing would be a problem before long too. Dealing with one problem at a time. Sarne always appeared to get tied up in this type of work and his reputation was going.

Sky Peak City is at the very soul of Dragon’s Cradle, protected by the peaks of Dragon’s Spine, stands the Sky Peak. Cut into the sides of the mountain, the Sky Peak circles to the top ending at the tower inn known as the Birds Perch. A succession of ladders, counterweight elevators, and underpasses foster the transport of people and goods through the town cut out of the mountain itself. The rich environment of the town is noticed through the multitude of colorful lights. They are popular with the locals during the night. Greens, golds, and reds awash the nighttime activities of drinking, dancing, and music. The lights have been said to be heard and seen across quiet nights in the mountains.

Sane arrived in the afternoon landing at one of the many venues and stables that the city had. Making sure Screech was taken care of Sarne roamed to the place where he would meet the city official. This city was large and amazing with the way it operated. seeing the Official Sarne walk up there was another man there.

He was a human in his mid-20s though Sarne. A slim youthful man that doesn't quite manage to reach the short of others his age. Due to his height, some would say that he has a rather young appearance. It was Videl. Srane had not seen him in some time He finally made it to Dragon’s Cradle.

Sarne walked up to Videl and a city official "Vidle, Good to see you again," said Sarne turning to the city official "I hear I am to ask about the help with winter up grades?" asked Sarne polity.

Description: Those in the Cradle know winter can be especially rough for them, as the storms above don't cease just because the air has cooled, oftentimes mixing with snow or rain, making them much more frustrating. Because of this, locals have made it a tradition to fix up homes, businesses, and establishments, getting them ready for both the winter storms and the decrease in temperature. Sky Peak has an open invitation for anyone wanting to help in this endeavor. The job is simple: assist locals in weatherproofing their homes with materials such as new lumber, pitch, shingles, and tools needed to do so.

Having found himself undergoing another one of those weeks in which both Sylvari and himself had been separated, Videl had grown rather antsy. He hadn't felt the same in these moments as he had with her by his side, his infatuations with her having grown to an unprecedented level, and as such, he had to find some way to pass the time. While there were a plethora of things that he could feasibly do, Videl's attention had more often than not landed upon a single matter. That matter, this go around, was to assist those of Dragon's Cradle in preparing for the winter weather.

As someone that had grown up within a nomadic tribe, within the snowy region of Frost Gale at that, Videl had held quite an extensive amount of knowledge on the subject. How to ensure that heat remains trapped within the confines of a room being the primary focus of such information. That being said, how one might go about it here within Dragon's Cradle might be vastly different. Something that he hadn't quite considered at first but was picking up on now. As he had spoken with one of the City's Officials in which capacities he might be able to help, Videl had come to discover that these people had primarily turned their efforts towards winterproofing through materials. Similar to those in the Pale City.

A few nods would be offered to the official in response to their words to Videl. It was as the two had been talking that a familiar voice would overtake the T'saya's ears. The voice of a man of nobility. Turning about mid conversation, so that he could get a better look at the man that had approached him, Videl would offer Sarne a practiced smile. "A-ah.. Yes. It is good to see you as well, Sarne." While his words had been true, the tone in which he had offered them had been rather lackluster. After everything that had gone on with that damned shapeshifter, Videl wasn't sure who he could trust. There was a slight paranoia that had resided within the man now, when it came to dealing with those that he had come to know.

Seeing Sarne's supposed purpose here, Videl would nod once more. He had been here for the same thing, more or less, and was more than willing to work with the man before him when it had come to such things. Figuring that Sarne could prove somewhat useful here, Videl would turn back towards the city official before speaking to the man on Sarne's behalf. He had explained to the official that Sarne could work with him, so as to speed up their progress with assisting the townsfolk. This was something that the official had readily agreed to, heading off after having willingly given Sarne the go ahead to join in the weatherproofing efforts.

Once the official had begun to head off, Videl would turn back towards Sarne and offer the man a more relaxed smile than his previous. "So where do you think we should start, Sarne? There's a few houses nearby, from what I was told, where we could help patch up a few bits of drywall and the like. Another few nearby that need their shingles replaced. And there's even one, from what I've heard, that needs all of the fixings."

Sane Looking down the road The structures had seen better days some did not even have shutters on the widows. Sarne was not even sure if he could help everyone. The people themselves did have some type of clothing but nothing for the winter they were about to have. Some of the people stopped and stared at Sarne and Videl. Some of the people seemed resentful of the whole Vulcadreaus incident. Others looked to be happy they were alive. Most still dressed in torn clothing the kids a bit dirty and hungry. This would not be an easy task thought Sarne.

Sarne looked over to the wagon Nordic a dwarf was handing some bread and cheese to some of the kids that came up to the wagon. Naesala and Vamir were trying to help but also watching the wagon closely keeping people back as they moved. Sarne's heart sank as he watched the kids not knowing if he could help them last the winter. Sarne looked back at the buildings. "I say we help the people with children first. Then families, sanitarium, and then businesses if we have anything left. What say you?" asked Sarne trying to formulate a plan wondering if Videl would say yes.
