Videl Vaddaria
Gender: Male (He/Him)
Age: 20
Race: Human (T'saya)
Nationality: Frost Gale
Sexuality: Pansexual
Alignment: Neutral
Renown: Tradesfolk
Guild Membership(s): Fighter's Guild
Appearance
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 128 lbs.
Eye Color: His left eye is steely gray and his right eye is pure white
Hair Color: Brown Black
Skin Color: Bronze
General Appearance: A slender young man that doesn't quite manage to reach the heights of others his age. Due to his height, some would say that he has a rather youthful appearance, but that is only upon an initial glance. Despite how young he outwardly looks, once one gazes upon his eyes, they would sense a much older individual. There is an anguish there, hidden within, that he often tries not to display to others. Such a task isn't always the easiest though.. Outside of that, one might take in how unkempt his hair is. Additionally, if there is ever a moment in which his top comes off, one would be able to notice the burn marks that run along his back.
Clothing & Accessories: More often than not, Videl can be found wearing the clothing that he had left home with. From top to bottom, the typical outfit that he dons consists of a white and blue hooded parka made of dyed Girallon fur, brown wool pants with white cuffs, and white fur-lined leather boots. Resting over his parka is a stark white mantle and a set of pauldrons that are coated in a thin layer of ice, with icicles dripping off of them. This outfit also consists of a unique mask crafted from animal bone and hide. Around his wrist, one could note that he wears a silver circlet with faint designs of ice and snow. And as for his waist? If one were to look beneath the mantle and around his waist, then they would come to note that there is a six foot long, solid steel chain that wraps around him.

Personality
Videl is an individual with a rather complicated personality. Underneath the surface lies a level of pain and abandonment that he simply doesn't have the words to express. This is a side of himself that he only ever shows to those that he truly trusts. It is what some could consider to be the truest side of him, albeit one that he doesn't allow to escape when he can help it. In front of others, he is a lighthearted and slightly mischievous individual! One that has an intense craving for knowledge and experience. He is searching for a sense of belonging. One that would allow for him to be both aspects of himself, without any worries.
History
Videl Vaddaria was raised among the T'saya of Frost Gale. His family had been one that was noted amongst this particular settlement as exceptional fire mages. In fact, his father, older sister, older brother, and younger sister had all been noted as individuals of note within the settlement. Warriors that had assisted the settlement and been believed to have descended from Vahtes himself. This was a falsehood of course. Whilst they had been exceptional mages, gifted with the blessing of fire, they hadn't been much more than that. This was a fact that Videl had known quite well.
Amongst all of his fathers children, Videl had been the only one to not receive this so called blessing. If there was anything that one could say he had a gift for, it would have been magic that had belonged to the Sea Domain. Ice Magic. As unfortunate as it was, as a child of the Vaddaria bloodline and of the T'saya people, ice magic held no real use in the Frost Gale.
Due to this overall lack of one blessing and a gift that his tribe had deemed to be rather useless, Videl had been met with prejudice from quite a young age. His peers had either ignored him or picked on him and even the adults of the settlement hadn't been all that kind. It was only his mother that had shown him the love and understanding that one should. She herself hadn't been blessed with the blessing of fire but ultimately came to learn how to use it over time. She had understood the scorn that had accompanied such a life and did all that she could to ensure that he understood that he wasn't alone. Even with all of her attempts though, Videl had felt utterly alone. He grasped the fact that his mother had been attempting to assist him but those attempts simply weren't enough. At the end of the day, she still couldn't speak up on his behalf when it came to dealing with those that had been within the village. The times in which her action would have meant the most were the times in which she took the most inaction. It was... something that Videl had to grow accustomed to.
Despite the hazards that he had faced both inside and out of the settlement, Videl had to ensure his own survival. Whenever he had found himself with free time, outside of his duties in the village, Videl would take the time to expand upon his usefulness. He would work to learn the ways of an ice mage. No.. An Ice Warrior. While he couldn't participate in the hunting excursions, alongside his family, he would sneak out at times and train in his magic. Once he had learned to call forth a spear from his ice, he would even go as far as to watch his families training sessions in secret, only to practice those methods in private later on. It wasn't an easy road, and certainly one of solitude, but he would someday be able to leave here. Right?
The time in which he would leave his settlement had come much quicker than even he could have anticipated. There came a time in which adventurers had been passing through the Frost Gale and in which said adventurers had found themselves temporarily camping with his tribe. It was then that the T'saya would discover the death of their gods. The foundation of their faith was tested and ultimately, the tribe had persevered. They refused to acknowledge the information that had been given to them by the adventurers and were set in their ways. Well.. all except for Videl. If the stories that the adventurers had spoke were true than just what reason did he have to stay here..? For so long, he had believed even the gods to be against him. But now that they were supposedly gone, he wasn't sure if this were true. In order to try and discern whether or not this had truly been fact, Videl had fled from his village and made his way out into the world. If these gods had indeed been dead than that would mean that his destiny was in his own control. And if they weren't? He fully intended to figure out just why it was that he had been cursed amongst his people.
