For the most part, Videl had indeed thought that this was a good idea. If the pair could collect a few necessities, to make things easier on those that are currently without homes and the like, then he would feel accomplished with everything that he's done. Not only that but he would be able to rest better at night, knowing that these people would be okay. At the same time however, he had understood that there were nobles that weren't all that kind. While it was certainly possible that this Sir Graylock was kind to those beneath his station, following under the noblesse oblige that compels a few nobles, this was something that Videl couldn't guarantee. All that he could really do here was place his hope in Hollis.
"Permission would most assuredly be necessary here. Despite the disaster that has occurred within this city, this time of year is of a particular sore spot for some nobles. From what I've managed to recently gather, this is the time of year in which crime increases. Something about a Red Rogue. I could only imagine the fallout that would occur if this Sir Graylock believed his wares to have been stolen." A light shutter would overtake the T'saya as he thought about how some of the nobles would react. If he himself hadn't assisted other nobles in protecting their wares, he wouldn't even know much about this. It was only by chance that he had.. but that was enough to set the man on edge.
Rather than speak any further on the topic, at the moment, Videl would instead follow Hollis to wherever this carriage had been. Once the pair had gotten there, Videl would offer to assist Hollis in climbing into said carriage. If they had accepted than Videl would take Hollis by the hand before assisting them up. And if they hadn't, or had been stopped by the guards, than Videl would simply wait his turn before joining them within the carriage. After that, he would do nothing more than wait for the small group to arrive at their determined location.

Hollis smiled glad the other agreed with him on the subject and nodded "Yes it is truly terrifying. I hardly ever get to be out in this time of year due to such things" he frowned worriedly for a moment at the idea. Hollis' cheeks then dusted a soft pink at the hand held out to him as he gently grabbed it and pulled up his dress with his free hand, carefully getting into the carriage "thank you videl" he replied with a soft and kind smile as he released the others hand and gently sat down. One guard sat in back with them whilst the other sat up front and soon the carriage began to move
"It is rather lovely this time of year, even if things are a bit difficult right now" he remarked "Maybe I could talk sir graylock in allowing me to perform a small concert for the winter season for the people. It isn't much but maybe it could bring a little peace. I hear this time of year people join with friends and family to celebrate, and give gifts and such. It has always sounded quite fun" he remarked in a wistful tone on the subject

Videl would nod along with the sentiment that Hollis had spoken on. These were things that he had come to learn about outside society, and truthfully even his own people had participated in similar events, but it was mostly a foreign concept to him. His tribe had never quite permitted for him to be involved in such events, given that they thought that he was cursed, and as such, he had very little basis to understand things around.
"I'm certain that the people around here would love to bare witness to such an event. Even your regular voice is stunning so one can only imagine how melodic your singing voice is." A soft laugh would escape the T'saya's lips as he playfully nudges Hollis with his elbow. "Be sure to let me know if you decide to perform such an event. I'd be more than willing to come out and see what you have to offer. And if nothing else, it'd be enjoyable to spend time with you. Gift giving and all of that.. I don't really have much experience with it but if it's with you, a friend, than I'm sure that it'll come to be something that I treasure."
From that point, Videl would remain a bit quiet, his gaze scanning the area for anything that might prove a threat to their traveling. This wasn't something that he consciously had done of course. After having been assigned as a guard from time to time, thanks to his experiences with Sylvari, this was simply something that he had become accustomed to. Perhaps in the future, he would come to note that he does these things. And if not? Well it wasn't serious enough to warrant anyone letting him know. Either way, it was a good practice to have in these wild, wild days.

Hollis was surprised, his cheeks tinting a little at such a compliment before giggling a long a bit "Thank you very much for saying so. I would be very happy if you were in attendance for a performance" he said happily lightly nudging the other in return. He was happy to hear that his company was enjoyed by the other feeling proud to have such a kind and sweet friend such as this.
"I will definitely have to think of a good gift!" he said happily determine to find a good gift that the other would like and appreciate. It was so exciting to have a friend to talk with and the idea of getting a gift for one was even better in his opinion. Hollis was curious of the other being on guard and smiled "No need to worry we are safe here" he smiled and within a few more minutes the carriage came to a stop outside a sizable mansion, the gates guarded by two more guards. He hopped out once the door was opened and smiled looking back for the other to join him. He had never had a friend let alone a friend to bring to the mansion before

Once the pair had arrived outside of the mansion, Videl would take his time to carefully step down from the carriage itself. From there he would offer Hollis another hand, much like he had done earlier when the pair had boarded it. "I apologize about that. I've become to accustomed to having to keep an eye out for any sort of danger that it's kind of become ingrained in me.." A soft laugh would escape the T'saya's lips as his gaze had turned momentarily back towards the mansion, before ultimately settling in on Hollis themself. "Remind me to introduce you to my Frigid Steed at some point. I can guarantee you that she offers a far more comfortable ride than anything else~"
After Hollis' feet had touched the ground, whether that be through Videl's assistance or his own efforts, Videl would sidle along beside them, his arm brushing softly against Hollis' own. "And no need to worry about a physical gift if you can't settle on something. I'd more than love to have the gift of standing by your side for a bit longer. To stand side by side with a friend is perhaps one of the greatest gifts I can think of. And of course I'll be sure to be at attendance for your showing~"
Hoping to accomplish the task that they initially set out for, Videl would then wait for the gates to open before following after Hollis. He didn't know his way around the area and wasn't one to take the lead in instances where he shouldn't. All that he really had to do at this point was to see what Hollis would do. If they arrived at the location of the blankets and such soon, he would simply throw them over each of his shoulders whilst also carrying some in his hands. And if not? Well that much would wait.

He took the offer an smiled happily. Hollis was truly happy to have a friend who was so nice."Oh no worries! You're safe with me though!" he smiled happily before nodding as he listened to the other "I would love too!"He exclaimed happily. Hollis then tilted his head a little bit "But I would love to get you something silly!" he smiled before his blush returned lightly on his cheeks at the others words as he giggled "I am happy to have such a nice friend" he exclaimed happily. He then looked forward and began walking inside with the others and the guards as the gates had opened. He walked calmly to the entrance and once inside they were led to the study. With that he straightened up and took a breath before walking in with a smile. Once in he bowed and smiled "Hello sir Graylock, I know you gave me permission to deliver supplies and was wondering if maybe you could allow my friend and I to deliver more?" In the chair looking at the pair was a man with dark violet hair and a bit of stubble, seeming to be an elf by the look of him. His gaze was cold and serious as he looked over Videl listening to hollis "Friend hm? I have not heard of this friend before. What is your name?" he questioned as he stood looking at Videl

As the pair had traversed into the room, Videl would offer the violet haired man a soft nod. He wasn't exactly one for proper greetings and the sort when it came to nobility. These weren't exactly the kinds of teachings that one had learned while out in the wilderness of Frost Gale. At best he knew that he should reserve any sort of rudeness for others outside of the nobility. Rudeness that he often wouldn't express either way. Of course, as the man had gone on to question his identity, Videl would have to do everything within his power not to sigh in response. Just why had it mattered whom he was if he was here to help?
Still hoping to aid those that needed it though, and to not make a bad impression on Hollis, Videl would offer the man before him a soft smile before speaking up. "The name is Videl Vaddaria. I am a member of the T'saya tribe belonging to Frost Gale." He could have delved further into his background, even going as far as to mention that he was a tradesfolk of his lands, but chose not to bring up such things. When it came to nobility, from his previous experiences, there were those that preferred to let you ramble and those that did not. And when it came to those that had not, they more often than not had preferred that said commoners only go as far as to answer the question that was immediately asked to them. While Hollis had gone on to state that this Sir Graylock fellow was hoping to help those in need, Videl couldn't verify if these words were true or not. There was no need for him to antagonize the noble if he could help it.

Hollis made sure he was standing up straight, doing his best to keep his smile on his face. Sir graylocke could be quite kind but he was known by Hollis to be cruel and cold when out of the public eye once he had what he wanted.Hollis listened to the conversation quietly a bit more comfortable with the other by his side.
Graylocke gave a seemingly kind and warm smile with a nod “well then welcome Vaddaria. What brings you and my dear Hollis here?” He questioned raising a brow. “I thought he was out helping the people, did something go wrong?” He glanced to the guards who stayed silent on the matter exchanging a glance for now. “Frost Gale hm? Seems quite the journey. You must be quite kind to come here to help the people in need” he praised looking the other over “What can I do for you? A friend of Hollis is a friend of mine” he added as he awaited to hear why Hollis brought some lowly stranger trapping into his home. He would deal with Hollis, mistake later however as he awaited an answer from videl.
Hollis tensed a little as he tried to maintain appearances
