Raoul nods his head as he listens to Perrath’s words of wisdom, the man was correct that was probably some of the best advice he’d heard on his travels, it sure was more eloquent than his friends, “Live life, fight dragons, eat grub”, he was familiar with.
He smiles, “Thank you Perrath I appreciate that and will keep that in mind, whoever came up with that must be very well-spoken".
His voice calms and saddens a bit as he hears Earth's answer about mortality, it was something that he had thought about a lot. He was a dhampir. He was going to live for a very very long time. It was just a thing that was going to happen. He was going to outlive all of his friends and loved ones. It was a fate that bothered him when he thought about it, especially before he slept.
“Thanks for answering Perrath. I've never really talked to an immortal being before so talking about stuff like this is pretty fascinating. I admire those who can use their short time here to mark their page in history. No matter who it is, I think everyone has a chance to be great enough to make their name known no matter their age”.
The two then finish their job handing the materials out and putting a smile on the hard-working lumberjack’s face. He smiles as he bids Perrath goodbye, “It was a pleasure to meet you again Perrath my friend, your brave and wise soul is always a delight. I truly hope to meet you again friend, and pick your brain once more about any interesting subjects”, he shakes the man’s hand and waves him goodbye as he walks away back home to Moonglade to most likely continue on any crime that had sprung up during his absence.
