Although he was reluctant to see her go, Videl had understood why the two had needed two depart from this point on. They each had their own journeys to face at the moment and his was sure to pull him farther away than even he had anticipated. Even with this being the case though, he had figured that they would meet up again at some point. Whether it be by chance, fate, or his simple desires to track her down, the two were sure to encounter one another at least once more. She was the closest thing that he could consider as family at the moment, even with how short their relationship had been, so he could only hope that things worked out in this way.
Rather than have her go out of her way to escort him to the nearest city, Videl would pull back from her and softly shake his head from side to side. It wasn't his place to keep her by his side. No matter how much he might have wanted this escort, if only to spend more time with the half orc, he had known that there was simply no need for it. "I really appreciate the offer.. but I should let you head south without any further delay." Hoping not to ruin this moment with the tears that were starting to well up within his eyes, Videl would close his eyes and offer her a bright smile. "We both have our own paths to head down. For now, I'll return to the Pale City. But in the future.. Let's meet again! I'll be much stronger by then. Strong enough to shock you for sure..! If you'd like, when that time comes, I'll be sure to give you a battle worth remembering."
A short bout of laughter would peel forth from the T'saya's lips at this point. He knew that he was likely putting on airs to make her desire for their reunion stronger but perhaps things would truly be like that by the time they met one another again. Regardless of how things would play out in the future, here in the present, Videl would give Ak'ka one last hug before darting off in the direction of the Pale City. "I'll see you next time..! Be safe until then!" And with that, the T'saya would disappear into the snow-laden fields.
