APPEARANCE
A tall and thin person with oddly long limbs. Long coal black hair falls to their shoulders, which is always neat and clean. Aconites dark, stormy blue eyes show a fire-y determination, as they walk with confidence and grace. Their bones can be seen easily, giving them a sharper appearance. Aconites skin is a light gray with white freckles. They wear dark clothing, usually black or dark green cargo pants and a muted earth tone sweater or turtle neck. Aconite wears navy combat boots, with silver on it. The sweaters they were are usually studded with little obsidian squares. Black fingerless gloves are their favorite thing to wear, even when its incredibly cold out and they should have fingers on them. Their hands are strong and boney, a crushing grip to be trapped in.
PERSONALITY
Aconite is graceful and determined, walking with confident strides. They have a stoic look to them, appearing strong. Their eyes hold an impassive nature to them, never giving anything away. They're friendly with those they enjoy the company of, and hate those that cause harm to them. They get into fights easily, fighting just seems to come to them often. Whether throwing fists or kicks, they will fight with anyone who they feel deserves it. Aconite fights fairly, though, and doesn't hurt anyone too badly if they have a disadvantage. If they're at the disadvantage, though, they'll keep fighting until they're down. Even though they're a fighter, they still are friendly enough. Mainly to those outcast by society, they enjoy to keep those ones company and hang out with them for a bit. Aconite struggles with socializing, as well as vocalizing their needs and wants. Socializing isn't the most important thing to this Spiderfolk, however, as they choose fighting above it.
HISTORY
Aconite was born in the Shadewood. In the depths of the forest, there was a small community that was outcast from society. Undeads and more peaceful monsters lived there, along with anyone deemed too odd to live with others. It was a cozy community, the ones who lived there were mostly friendly and everything was going well. Until it wasn't. "Those monsters are planning to drive us away!" People cried out, calling for people to get ready to fight. The creatures there, hearing this, prepared themselves as well. This just made the people angrier, until they called for the creatures heads and went to attack their village. A skeleton and a ghost whisked Aconite away into a safe place as the attack began, shielding them from the worst of it. Sounds of fighting could be heard, mainly the creatures losing to the people, until it fell silent. Only the flames burning the small buildings down could be heard as the survivors emerged from the wreckage. Once everyone was taken care of, most fled deeper into the forest. Aconite, at the age of five, was left with the skeleton man and the ghost. The three of them ventured into town to get supplies, which wasn't the smartest idea. When their backs were turned, the townsfolk took Aconite and made a deal. They turn themselves in, and the child gets let go. The two were forced to accept, giving their lives for Aconites. Aconite ended up being dumped in the forest, and left to survive on their own.
They did well for a bit, but intense loneliness consumed them. No one wanted to interact with the kid, leaving them to alone. Until a strange man appeared in their little camp, and struck a deal. They could get their parents back in exchange for one thing. He never specified what it was, yet Aconite accepted. Being alone forever terrified the kid, so they shook hands and the man went on his way with a promise; he'd come back to redeem his part of the deal someday. Aconite shivered at his words but it was already too late, the deal was made.
When Aconite woke up the next day, they saw two figures standing in their camp. Tall and thin, just like them, with six arms. Their parents. Aconite gasped and rushed over, trying to hug them but fell to the ground. Fallen through the two ghosts. Their parents looked down at them, a sense of hatred coming from them both. For reasons they couldn't explain, they were angered by the fact that their kid had lived and they didn't. They spoke furiously at Aconite until they got up and ran off, deeper into the woods, returning later that night. Their parents were still there, waiting.
This continued on for more years, Aconite managing to survive in the woods while their parents haunted them. Horrified by the harsh and cruel attitudes of their parents, Aconite mainly tried to ignore them, making them more upset. When they became twelve, they finally left the comfort of the woods and ventured into town. They weren't interacted with much, just left alone to try and survive.
Aconite got into fights a lot, some petty or unnecessary, while others were for survival. Fighting for food or just because someone was incredibly annoying, they didn't discriminate on who to fight. Their parents were driving them crazy while they did this, which only made them fight harder.
Now they're fourteen and have managed to stay alive for nine years, and they have forgotten about the strange mans promise to take something someday. But thats for another time, right now they need to survive.
