Sales Counter Guide
The sales counter is the place for making any kind of purchase, sale, trade or other transaction where you are giving or receiving something.
To make a purchase you must create a thread in the Shop Transactions subboard (title can be anything) with any of the appropriate templates filled out fully. If your template is not filled out with all of the correct information staff may put your purchase approval on hold until any issues are corrected.
You do not need to make multiple purchase threads for each transaction. You can go back and edit any unlocked thread you currently have that has not been fulfilled and locked by staff. You only need to make a new purchase thread if you do not have a currently unlocked thread available to add to.
Listed below are all of the kinds of things you can do or claim at the sales counter, however before you can use this feature you must meet three requirements.

Purchasing Template
When buying items from the shops, you must use the following template. Once posted, a member of staff will manually approve your purchase. Approval of purchases can take some time, so please be patient. As soon as you make the purchase you can add the items to your inventory page and start using them without waiting to get approved. However, if staff finds that you have purchased or added items that you are not qualified for, you will be expected to remove those from your inventory and halt use until you are qualified. The Solar amount in your account will not change until staff has approved the purchase.
Name of the item (Shop it came from name) = Solar amount
Total Purchase price = Total Solar amount
-Example-
Buying
Torch (General Goods) = 10 Solars
House Cat (Stables) = 15 Solars
Minor Healing (Magic Shop: Light Domain) = 15 Solars
Total Purchase price = 40 Solars
Selling Template
When selling items back to the shops, you must use the following template. Once posted, a member of staff will manually approve your purchase. Approval of purchases can take some time, so please be patient. As soon as you make the purchase, you must remove the item from your inventory and can no longer use it in topics. The Solar amount in your account will not change until staff has approved the purchase.
When selling back to the shops, you will receive half the amount originally spent, rounded down to the next multiple of 5 (an item that cost 15 Solars will give you 5 Solars back).

Turning in Quests and Claiming Rewards
When you complete a quest that includes rewards of any kind (renown, region security, guild membership, renown tier, crafting materials, mystical archive tickets, special event shops) you must turn that quest in to claim the rewards. Please ensure the following details are included in your quest turn-ins:
- Quest name and link to the thread being turned in
- Names of all participants in the thread (you can use the tagging function for this)
- Rewards claimed
Double-check that all participants meet the requirements to gain the rewards from the quest before turning in the quest. If a player does not meet requirements, make sure to note that in your thread.
Only turn in quests that are complete. If a questline has multiple chapters, all chapters must be complete before being turned in.
Avoid turning in quests already turned in by other participants. If a participant has previously completed a quest and received rewards from it, make sure to note that in your thread.
Claiming a new Renown Tier
If you are claiming a new RENOWN TIER (Tradesfolk, Dignitary, Noble), you must make a purchase thread including links to all your sources of earned renown (completed quest threads, of-the-months, creation contests, event participation, etc.). Once you have created this thread claiming a new renown tier, you can start quests for that tier. When purchases are fulfilled you will be assigned your new renown tier on your account.
If you do a quest you are not in the correct tier for, you cannot claim any rewards for that quest and must note that at the time of turning in that quest.

Transferring between your own characters
Here on Charon, you are allowed to freely move Solars or items from one of your own characters to another one of your own characters, however there are a few guidelines when it comes to doing so.
- You can freely transfer Solars between your own characters.
- You can not sell or trade items that come from reward shops, meaning shops that are locked behind quest completions or require specific goals to be met to access.
- You can only transfer an item from one of your own characters to another one of your own characters if the character receiving the item is qualified to use the item, such as having the required skill or the item belonging to a universal shop.
- You can transfer an item from one of your own characters to another one of your own characters if the item is a reward item from a shop or event that is universally available.
To do so you simply create a sales counter post linking both characters and detailing which items or how many Solars you want to transfer.
Name of the item (Shop it came from name) transfer from @user1 to @user2
Solar amount transfer from @user1 to @user2

-Example-
Transferring
House Cat (Stables) transfer from @user1 to @user2
80 Solars transfer from @user1 to @user2

Transferring/selling between other players
It is possible to give or sell things you own to other players. However, there are a few guidelines when it comes to doing so.
- You can only give or sell an item to a player if their character is qualified to use the item, such as having the required skill or the item belonging to a universal shop.
- You can not sell or trade items that come from reward shops, meaning shops that are locked behind quest completions or require specific goals to be met to access.
- You can sell or trade items that come from events, activities or giveaways (unless the item has a restriction attached to it).
- You can transfer Solars to other players.
To complete any of the above, you simply create a sales counter post linking both characters and detailing which items or how many Solars you want to transfer.
Name of the item (Shop it came from name) transfer from @user1 to @user2
Solar amount transfer from @user1 to @user2

Mystical Archive Tickets
You can trade or sell Mystical Archive Tickets to other players. However, since archive tickets have no direct value, it is up to the individual players to come to an agreement when selling or trading tickets. It is now also possible to cash in reward or premium items into the archive to receive a ticket. See the Mystical Archive for further details.
