"I'm sure he wouldn't mind, it's just a matter of catching him when he is around. I'll admit I'm bad at keeping up with letters or messages. I underestimated how much working as an adventurer would have me traveling across the world. Halcyon helps keep travel fast, but still."

He smiles a bit and slips an arm around Cirice. "It took me some time after Zeinav to work of the nerve to reach out to Cirice again if that gives you a clue at how bad I am at this."

“It can be really hard, when you’re traveling to stay in touch.” Cirice admits, “Especially when you don’t have a dedicated residence. I have all my letters forwarded to the Mage’s Guild and they get them to me relatively quickly. Traveling is fun but I get homesick quite a lot, don’t you? I’m sure with your father also traveling its even harder to stay in touch…”

She leans into his embrace, laying her head on his shoulder. “You're not bad at this at all. I was too awkward to reach out to you for a while too. What matters is we’re here together now. I’m sure we’ll have more adventures too.”

Lyleth and Seto watch them with soft smiles, its clear that the pair are quite happy together and quite in love.

“Well before the two of you go off and save Charon, stay the night at least and get some rest.” Lyleth gives them a motherly look of concern.

“In separate bedrooms.” Seto adds seriously.

Cirice’s cheeks flare red-hot and deep purple as a bruise, “CHI CHI!” She shrieks, mortified and hides her face against Gerhart.

“I’ve already had the guest room prepared for you, Gerhart dear.” Lyleth continues, unabashed. “Please feel free to stay as long as you like.”

Cirice lifts her head off his shoulder just enough to look up at him with questioning eyes, will he stay, just for a bit? Its been a while since they saw each other and a small break in the Crescent Isles far from the crazy world of politics and danger would be nice.

But her beloved hero didn’t seem the type to stay still for long, not when there are people in need of help, no matter how long he stayed this day spent with him was a treasure she’d hold in her heart forever.

"Homesick?.....Hard to say...I guess I don't mind it as much not having a home for so long, I kinda like traveling around...if you'd like though, you're welcome to stay at my house too, there's plenty of space." He smiled softly over at Cirice, not fully realizing what he was offering, but it was genuine.

He does stifle a laugh and tries his best to force his blush down as Seto comments, not that he had been thinking of any untoward activities that night but he had just sort of assumed they'd share a bed. Couples do that right? This is all very new.

"I'm sure Halcyon would like a day or two off, as far as I know, the world isn't exploding," that's foreshadowing kids, "I don't want to take advantage of your hospitality, I'm sure Rice will want me gone in a few days." Another boyish grin and laugh as he nestles Cirice into his side, planting a kiss to her cheek as he laughs.
