She smiled, thinking. Best story, hm? Well, she could serve up a funny one when needed, always something going on at the tavern. "Well, one time one of our more trickster patrons decided it'd be a good idea to offer to replace our chairs for free. Said they were too uncomfortable. We happily agreed, our chairs were quite old anyway. But, when they finished, they all turned out to be nasty biting creatures! Mimics, if I remember correctly. One heck of a day getting them out." She laughed, recalling that day. Ah, that certainly was a day.
Amelia looked as the tavern began to regain its senses, everyone slowly rising and standing or sitting up. She looked at Izzy, who also was checking the tavern. Hopefully not many would blame her for starting this all, because Amelia definitely didn't want to deal with another fight
She turned back to Izzy, smiling with slight worry plastered on her face. "Maybe I should get going... I'm not exactly thrilled at the idea of dealing with this when they all get up. Being pretty much the only uninjured person probably wont sit well with them all." She sighed, taking out her bag of coins, looking to the barkeep questioningly. She'd still pay before leaving, at least.
Amelia slid the amount of coins needed over to him, smiling warmly. He looked pretty grumpy, so she didn't say anything to him. She turned, and saw something unfortunate. A few had risen already, and they looked pretty fine to her. Couple bruises or cuts, but otherwise seemed ready for another fight. Well, guess it was about time for her to get out of here then, fast.

Izzy leans forward on her elbows, listening raptly to the story. It's quite a little tale; someone tricksy replacing all the chairs with some sort of creature. How dastardly! It was almost a mean-spirited trick, even. She chuckles at the end of the tale, "Where did they even get them all to do that! That sounds pretty well thought out, they must've planned that for a whiiile in advance. And taken some finding to get all similar looking mimic-chairs on top of it." She snickers under her breath.
As Amelia takes a look around the tavern, Izzy follows her gaze. At all the people starting to get up, mad and hurting something fierce. Yep, about time to be hittin' the ol' dusty trail, so to speak. When Amelia indicates she would be heading out as well, Izzy gives her a grin, lifts her glass in cheers, and knocks the whole thing back in a few gulps. She sets the glass down with a "WOO! Brisk!" before she gets to her feet-- a little wobblier than when she sat down.
"Either that or they'll start askin' around about who you were talkin' to n' whatever, but thank yooou for the lil drink Ma'am, you're all good in ol' Izzy's books, sure as sure. Stay outta trouble now. Upsie daisy!" Izzy tips Amelia a salute and then vaults the bartop, making a quick escape through the back before anyone got too wise to her nonsense. "BE NICE TO AMELIA, OKAY, THANKS BYYYEE," she says to the bartender on her way out.
