Cirice takes some deep breaths, trying to still her racing heart and mind. "Oh um okay, if you're sure. I uh will you hand me my bag please? I think I need some water." Her head feels like its overheating from all the adrenaline and blushing. That was really nice. They'd kissed. On the first date. And she regretted nothing. 

"Yeah of course." He smiles and stands, getting Cirice her water first. Gerhart heads back to Halcyon, the big, broad smile on his face hidden as his back faces the elf.

Hushed whispers of excitement are shared with Halcyon who does not seem particularly interested in the romantic adventures of his rider. Gerhart gives him a playful shove and something about 'you'll understand when you have eggs' before reaching into the pack and fishing something out.

Gerhart trots back and takes a seat again. He takes one of Cirice's hands and holds it palm up before setting a small ring in it. The ring is mostly white with a black edge, the white section made out of something non-metallic. "I heard about a special kinda ring...I had this one made from a Moon Deer antler, it can apparently hold a bit of....I guess magic in it? I thought I'd put something in there that could help you."

Gerhart's Eternity Ring

Blade Dance
    With your weapons feeling as light as air in your capable hands, you are able to whirl them around you in beautiful and     complicated ways as if you were performing a dance. If you are within melee range of an enemy while whirling your     weapons in this way, your next attack will ignore hit preventions. If you are not within melee range of an enemy, you     will instead gain one hit prevention against ranged physical attacks. Can only be used twice per topic.

Cirice gratefully accepts her bag when he brings it over and takes out her water flask, drinking deeply from it as he grabs something from the saddle bags of his bird. Her heart is finally starting to calm down and get out of the range of exploding when he returns and takes her hand, sliding a beautiful ring on her finger.

“Wh-what??” Cirice stutters, feelings flood into her, warm happiness, awkwardness, joy, love, glee, and excitement washing over her like the waves. “I-is this… Wait I can feel your-your feelings?” She looks at him stunned.

“Wait I can’t accept this!” Her heart goes back into overtime, “Unless... Are you p-p-p-pr-pr-proposing?” She feels slightly faint.

Now the ring would flare with shock and embarassment as Gerhart turned red. "No, no, no, nothing like that! I just thought it would look nice and you always wear nice things and look pretty! I'm not saying that I never would but I just wouldn't right now cause we only just sorta admited we like each other that would be way too fast I know I rush into things, but I wouldn't do that to you."



His words come in a rushed flurry, barely enough time to catch a breath inbetween words as he panics trying to right the ship on this misunderstanding.

“Hey, hey take a deep breath.” Cirice tries to calm him down and puts her hand on his arm gently. “Thank you. Its absolutely beautiful.” She smiles and squeezes his arm.

“It is perhaps the most beautiful thing I have… I’m sorry, I blurted out the first thing in my head.” She apologizes, “A magic ring from the man I like? I panicked a little. Sorry. It’s more like a promise ring, right? A promise that we’ll work hard for each other and take care of each other.” She digs into her bag and pulls out a small silver ring with a large moonstone and a crescent moon.

“I… Have one for you too, if you’ll accept it. Its a tradition from the mainland, right?” She pulls his hand into hers and gently places it on his finger. “A promise ring.”

"We both are new to this huh?" He smiles and laughs given the rapid fire misunderstandings of the last minute or so. It was at least adorable in how quickly they both jumped to conclusions far beyond what they intended.

Gerhart sits up a bit as he takes the ring Cirice offers with a smile, "This is so beautiful....A promise ring, huh? I actually had never heard of that....but it makes sense. A promise to look after each other." The last words are almost whispered as he continues to look at the ring.

He'd made plenty of promises to protect and look after people when working, but it usually only went as far as the job. This was different....this was a long term thing. He could get used to it though.

If allowed, after the exchange of rings he will lean in for another kiss, "I think I can keep this promise."

As Gerhart leans in for the kiss Cirice’s heart feels like it is doing flips in her chest. She expects it this time and leans in to meet his lips with joyful anticipation. She closes her eyes and wraps her arms around him in a soft hug, savoring the feeling of the moment and the promise they share. “A promise sealed with a kiss.” She whispers against his lips with a smile.
