The Lunabell and her crew had been docked a few days to resupply and gather a few things they needed yet whilst they rested they were approached by townsfolk begging for help stopping some conquest ships. He was a bit surprised by such things but after a moment of thought he agreed and told them to keep there money as this was something he didnt really mind the idea of doing for free. Sure he was a pirate but he wasn't heartless and understood the hells of the world and just needing help sometimes.
With this in mind he had told his crew and began planning what they could do as they sat at the docks wondering if they needed more people or anything else to assist in the effort, soon sending out a few people to search for locals willing to assist in one way or another to give them a bit of an advantage over the ships they would be facing. Of course battles at sea was what they were used to and their ship was rather fast which gave them an advantage in the water but he wanted to make sure this went as smoothly as possible

Leandros had found himself spending a few extra days inside of the Pale City after helping a lost merchant find his way back to safety. If he was going to learn about the world, it would take more than some passing adventures inside of a place to truly get to know it. So the knight endeavored to learn a bit more from the locals and see how people made a living out here.
Late in the afternoon he made his way down to the docks just to see how things operate down here. He had seen plenty of ships in his time on Capitol Landing, but seeing ships make their way through the rough ice was something else. He noted the reinforced hulls and icecutting equipment attached to the front. Sensible changes from what he could manage, still it must take a talented crew and captain to make this a viable route.
A curious eyebrow was raised seeing a some ship hands seemingly recruiting random strangers from the docks to work on the ship. Did they lose too many men? Or were things so dangerous out there they just like having extra hands on deck in case something went wrong?
The knight certainly would stand out to any of the impromtu recruiters, standing nearly six and a half feet tall in shining armor and a bright blue cape meant there was no sense in learning how to be subtle or blend in.

Flynn checked on everything on the ship before looking to those on the docks pausing as he saw the knight in full armor and soon he hopped off his shift and headed over, tail swaying behind him as he went and looked the other up and down "Well hello there handsome. Care to lend a helping hand to my crew and the kind people of this town?" he questioned and raised a brow, leaning on a barrel nearby as he awaited the others answer, running a hand through his hair to make sure it looked correct.
His crew were welcoming the newcomers on board who had agreed to help out in the upcoming fight. Things had been a bit quiet since the whole red rogue incident and all were yearning for the next thing to do which currently seemed to be helping this place by taking out some noble ships that the people didnt care for. Everyone had been on board and agreeable to the idea of lending aid so here they were doing just that. Every now and then one would glance to the captain to check and see if they were needed and if everything was alright so far.

"Seens as if you're pulling any able bodied man aboard that you can. Planning for some rough waters ahead?" Leandros looked over to the pirate a moment, crossing his arms over his chest.
He'd spent a good time aorund the docks of Capitol Landing getting to know different sailors and crewmen. Just like any profession personalities from every corner of Charon could be found, but he noticed sailors tended to draw the most risk takers. It made sense, dying at sea was a rough thing to consider, and the travel itself wasn't exactly easy for anyone involved. He could see the man that approached him seemed to be one of the bigger risk takers on the surface. Welcoming newcomers is one thing, but for what was the bigger question.
"I've only ever been a passenger on a ship, you sure you need someone like that on the crew?" Leandros seemed more than willing to join, but he was curious to see just how the captain would respond. The knight was clearly a little suspicious of the situation, but for the moment he was willing to move along with it if not for the simple motivation of seeing how this would all play out.

“You could say that handsome” he nodded with a chuckle “nobles here have raised taxes to go expand and conquer other territories against the peoples will do we plan on helping these folks here” he explained simply looking at the other with his grin never fading. Yes it could be a bit risky asking a knight looking fellow to assist as he could be on the nobles side but he had a good feeling about this encounter. “I’m sure you could be quite an asset to help these people yes. Our main goal is to stop their expedition before they leave bay. The people will be able to breathe a sigh of relief then” he added as his tail flicked a bit curious to the others response and reply. He knew it would be a troublesome endeavor but had made a deal and he would stick to it. Besides he was a pirate, not like it would be unusual for him to be attacking noble ships so the towns people should be fine to not be looked at as guilty or assistants to the coup. As long as the people were helped and safe from suspicion that was about all that mattered in his mind

Leandros lets the compliment pass by without addressing it as he crossed his arms over his chest. "And it never occurred to petition the local lords and ladies to perhaps reconsider their efforts? Work through the local magistrate?"
This was a certainly a risky offer indeed. He was no fan of the wanton expansion of some lords who were more hungry for glory and wealth than they were for the well-being of their people. There were also plenty of people out there who could spin any story that suits their fancy to help justify robbery and other criminal endeavors. If Leandros were to agree to come on this journey, then the knight was going to have to be careful.
"I doubt you will find me much of an asset after too long, but fine. Let's see how bad these nobles of yours actually are." He nodded and dropped his hands, motioning for Flynn to lead the way towards the ship with Leandros following a step behind. If nothing else, Leandros could at least ensure this pirate was being truthful in just wanting to help rather than line his own pockets. Hopefully, he could also work to prevent any actual death on these waters.

“Some tried yet nothing changed. The nobles are set in their choice.” He remarked with a sigh and a shrug as he let the other think it over and consider his offer. He was however quite surprised by the other agreeing his grin returning at that as he nodded some “good then thank you I’m sure the people will appreciate your help good sir” he replied ready to go back towards the ship before he heard what the man had to say next causing him to pause and turn towards the other. He wasn’t sure what the other meant by that but if it was talking to the nobles that was a bit troublesome as if he was recognized there it was sure to cause a scuffle.
“We are going to see the nobles? Mate I’m not sure if that’s a good idea for me if you’re wanting a nice chat with Em”. We aren’t exactly… simp price at the moment or ever really. Probably why they always get my nose wrong in their renditions of me” he remarked with a chuckle. “If I go and they recognize me it will cause more issues and a scuffle”

Leandros give a small hum of acknowledgement. If the departure of the ship wasn't so close at hand, he might just turn around and march into the throne room and make more forceful push to avoid exploiting people. Such as it were, he was not afforded that kind of time and would have to keep that in his back pocket. If nothing else, one country attempting to expand into another is a diplomatic kerfuffle and he would petition noblepersons back home to take a wiser course.
He gives a curious look to the pirate before realizing what he said, shoulders deflating as he gave a sheepish laugh. "I am sorry friend, I think in my furor I misspoke. I only meant to say let's set sail to see how bad this issue truly is. I am of no mind to confront them immediately. Besides, they would just spin a tale of how they are benefitting the people. It would serve me better then to sail with the people they say its going to benefit and see for myself."
The knight un crossed his arms from his chest and looked ready to go. He'd follow after the captain and get onto the deck of the ship, his heavy armored steps creaking the wood of the gangplank ever so slightly.

Flynn nodded and walked with him back towards the ship after turning “right then. We have a good few people to help, most will be helping with the canons, others will be ready to board if they get too far from the coast” he explained to the other as they went “we also have a few on fishing boats who will grab any crew from the ships who end up in the water. The ships are the targets, not the souls on board so we intend to get them back to shore if they sink a bit far from it. One or two good shots to the hull of their boats from out cannons should be more than enough to get Em sinking and if done right it will give the crew enough time to abandon ship as well” he explained as they walked the deck, the captain nodding to those they passed with a friendly smile, clapping a few on the shoulder as he went in greeting before soon he stopped as they reached the wheel of the ship turning to the other as he leaned upon the wheel “so then, does that all sound decent to you handsome?”

The knight remained somewhat leery, he was dealing with a pirate after all. He would be foolish to take him at his word, but so far he had no reason to doubt the man other than a predisposed opinion. If this quest to travel Charon he set himself upon was about expanding his own horizons and knowledge, that meant he would have to try things that made him uncomfortable and not always work with do-gooders like himself.
"And your plans for those that do get injured?" He looks at the captain from the side of his eyes as they walk, curious if he had a plan. As they stop he will once more put his arms across his chest, looking out over the waters. It was certainly a different view than he'd had in Capitol Landing....less color and sun, just flat like the tundra itself.
"You're the captain, don't wait for my approval to set sail." He gives a small smile back to Flynn before looking back to the ocean. He better ready himself it seems. At least this time if they were attacked he had much more room to roam unlike the small rowboat he shared with Ak'ka.

"If people get injured we have some locals by the docks with medical supplies to patch up any wounds and I believe one or two know some spells to assist. This aint worth casualties from either side. Don't need more issues for these folks ya know?" he explained gesturing to a small group on the docks "Right then! Set sail men! Remember no casualties! Those aboard will be dropped off just around the bay to avoid arrest! Let's get this done!" he grinned and moved to the helm of his ship, grasping the wheel and steering them towards the ships, keeping the sails at half mast so they would have a slow pace to start, signaling the men to ready the cannons, allowing Leandros to be on one. He waited as they drew closer and once lines up, making sure the others were in place and position he raised his hand with a grin and called out, "fire!" with that he let the cannons blow, lowering some of the men into rowboats to assist the others if more help was needed to fish the men from the water, before he called for the sails to be lowered further to put a bit of distance between

Leandros gave a shallow nod, seemingly accepting that answer for now. He would decline actually manning the cannon having no training on one he didn't want to ruin anything, but what he was good at was hauling cannonballs to where they needed to go.
Despite his lack of skill on a ship, the man was good at following orders and could be relied upon to do what is told of him. This was certainly a lot more chaos than he had seen on any other boating trip, then again he had only ever ridden as a passenger on a merchant ship before. So, being on a fighting vessel was something entirely new.
When people did start to funnel back in on rowboats, he'd be one of the first to toss a line down and start pulling boats up. Sizeable muscles made it pretty easy to haul heavy things, rowboats full of people, cannon balls, anything of significant heft really.
"How long do you think we'll be out of port?" He called back to the captain after reaching down to pull the next man over the railing of the ship to free up another rowboat. He was in no rush, but never hurts to ask.

Flynn made sure everything was in order and he began steering them around the side of the island on full sails grinning as he heard the others question “just a few minutes really.” He explained and continued on “gonna let you folks off and make sure everything is fine before my crew and I head off. It ain’t at a dock but will be better to unload at the side away from the whole scene. Safer as well” he added and with that he had the sails mostly lifted to get them near the shore. He then had them lifted with the anchor dropping. He then helped people into the final rowboat not wanting anyone to fall as a few thanked him for his help in the situation. He nodded with his signature grin telling them they were welcome. “Of course. Don’t need more trouble in the seas and at port ya know?” He asked with a soft joking chuckle “as long as everyone is safe then it’s fine. Do reach out if you need assistance in the future though” he explained and turned to the knight to help him on board if they needed it “thank you for your help. Must say you’re quite the strong fellow.”

It seemed a bit odd to be doing this so close to the port, but he wasn't enough of a sailor to question it. He also found a bit odd to deposit these folks away from the docks. Where they not meant to stop these people? If so, wouldn't it make more sense to turn them in to the dock guards? This was certainly a strange set of events, but Leandros just let out a soft sigh as he lowered the last row boat.
"Oh I wouldn't say that, just blessed a bit is all." He gives a little smile and affable chuckle as he runs a hand through his hair, having worked up a bit of a sweat during all this work.
"You sure this is right then? Just going to send them off with a warning not to try this again?"

Flynn raised a brow and chuckled "With a few holes in the hull of those ships they cant do much. Gonna be sinking though it should be slow enough for the people to evacuate to the life boats and docks." he replied simply "This will stop em for a while when these boats are at the bottom of the water soon." he added. "Now we just gotta get people off the ship, check in that all went to plan and then my crew and i will be on our way" he explained to the other.
It wasn't a violent or brutal method by any means. Though Flynn was a pirate captain he didn't care much for needless death and such. He did however get a kick out of messing with the nobles and helping those who actually needed it. Thus, his simple and straightforward tactic was better than a full frontal attack. No one is hurt and the boats are sunk. He looked the other over with a grin "My you are quite handsome you know that? If you ever need a little break from land do feel free to sail with us handsome. I wouldn't mind the company" he winked before making sure people were in the boat alright
