The day was windy and cool. A wind blow from the water in land ruffling her cloak and hair as she sat eating an apple on one of the high piling s of the wharf. Three late season sailing ships were unloading goods and food into warehouses. From there things would then be sold to brokers, moved by teamsters and then sold to shopkeepers or other brokers who would drive up the costs. Each step would raise the prices and that would of course be passed on. Add in the fact that it was winter and shipments would soon stop because of the cold, storms and ice. These goods would be some of the most expensive of the year.
Sarris had a weakness for the poor and underclasses of the capital. Even being a half-elf, and having enough to survive, she still hated how some of the lower class were bleed dry to make the rich richer. She was not against making a profit, but she was against excessive profits and people starving.
With the season of the Red Rouge at hand, the time was perfect. After all she was a red head and she considered that to be appropriate. Though she knew that her guild would have issues with her acting independently.

Another mischievous devil soon appeared from a ship down the docks, a captain of his own ship, flynn grinned unloading some barrels with his crew to add to the warehouses for the people though where the boxes were from was a mystery. Most held coin and refined things. He merely grinned and winked when they asked him of the contents and stated it should go to the people. Yes he was a thief and fiend but something about the holidays seemed to soften him a bit more than usual as he stretched looking around for a bar once the unloading was completed for the moment deciding a drink would be good before setting his plans into action. After all what better theif than one that was perfectly colored for a holiday rogue. Yes this would be fun indeed though how much chaos and fun would ensue was yet to be determined. He tossed a coin to a few kids as he walked noticing them seeming rather hungry giving them a little wink and smile before continuing on his way
Once he got to the tavern he entered and sat with a drink as he looked around the room to see who all was there. This would be quite an adventure to add to his repertoire so far and in one of the biggest cities in the kingdom no doubt

Sarris watched Captain Flynn and the crew from from her perch as the items were unloaded and hauled into warehouses. She watched as the men worked. Seeing what was heavy and needed more work to move. From her time with Heian, she had learned a little bit about pirates and ships. As he headed for a bar Sarris decided to check this out in greater details.
It might have been the bribe to the customs official, though most called these payments an expedited processing fee. Fees that got the inspectors to look the other way. The Silent Hand had used the techniques as well smuggling items and people out of the city.
She followed Flynn into the bar then slinked her was to an open table where she ordered a drink and watched what was taking place. She kept her ears open and her bottom in the chair. She was deciding if Flynn would help her or would be her target.

Flynn sat at the bar with a grin on his face pushing some coin forward. "Some good ale for me and the rest of the sailors and workers in here eh? Whatever they want on me for the day" he grinned earning an eye raise from the bartender who questioned why only for flynn to shrug "Holiday times. Everyone could use a freebie here and there im sure. Plus I aint got much to do with it. My boat is just fine so this is just extra weight "he remarked setting more down "Have some yourself im sure you've done quite a bit today" he smiled a bit at that as he was handed a drink before turning towards the room holding it up "Drinks on me lads and ladies!" he grinned earning a few cheers from some who quickly took him up on that offer before his gaze then turned to the bartender again "I think this port will have quite the good holiday season. That red rogue story may just come true for once" he added as he drank some of his ale and relaxed in the chair. wondering how to kick off his plans for the holidays in the small town. After all the people here looked like they could use a little cheering. many seemed tired and and worn whether at the ports or in other areas of the town and seeing the few on the street only made him more set in his goal. It would start soon

Like a cart Sarris came sliding up to the pirate Captain’s table. “Very generous,” she said with a smile like cat about to play with a mouse. There was a glint of mischief in her eyes as she looked at him. She set a bottle of expensive wine down pouring two glasses half full. Picking one up and lifted it to her lips.
She gave a little pout that no one pulled a chair out for her, so she slid one out and sat down.
Flynn had loyal followers as long as his money bought rounds.
Turning the glass in a clockwise motion around the base she looked at him.
“You want to be a hero of the people?” She asked. “Spreading gold around just drives up the prices of things,” she said having watched the prices on goods go up when ships came into port.
She leaned a bit forward and whispered, “What a lot of these poor people need is food.” The sailors were rich compared to those working the warehouses and the taverns.
“There is a warehouse filled with grain and cured meats,” she continued softly. “I could get us in.. But I do not have a crew that could move the goods quick enough to keep from being caught,” she said then leaned back taking another sip of the wine. “You have a crew and a ship. We could load up sail out for a day then come back and distribute the food around the city,” she said. “Like the Red Rouge. You would be a hero of the people,” Sarris said.

Flynn raised a brow noticing the cat like look cross her face as he then glanced to the bottle with a small chuckle "Well I see you're taking full advantage of the offer hm kitten?" he grinned as he looked to his cup waiting for her to have a sip first. It was a habit for the pirate after all considering a good few people wanted the man dead. "A hero is a strong title luv. I merely want to get the people what they are owed for the shit they're stuck doin. And my imports aren't for any fancy stuck up nobles either. They are given to the people who need it for the food they need. " he remarked raising a brow as he was rather curious by where she was going with all of this. "Food for all hm? Quite the offer. But tell me doll, what is in it for you?" He asked as he leaned back in the chair and kicked his feet up waiting to hear from her "I mean I get needin a crew and a hideaway to lay low but you're trying to say I would be the hero. If it were to happen I would say we would both be"

Sarris smiled a little smirk. She was in joying the flirty playfulness of this game. “Yes, I am,” she said in a playful tone. On glass would be more than enough for her, two and she would be dancing on the bar. But this was to get his attention.
“What is in it for me…” she paused thinking of how she wanted to phrase this. “Let us say that I am just collecting on a debt owed me,” she said. The humiliation that she had received at the wedding of one shipping and smuggling merchant was enough of a reason for her to pay him back where it hurt. Vengeance always went well when served to an overweight, greedy, womanizer, with a better than everyone else attitude.
“You and I agree, most of these people get cheated by those in positions of power,” she said.
She leaned forward putting her glass down. It would have been alluring if she had more to show on her top deck, but the sails barely caught wind.
“There is a group of grain merchants holding the grain driving the prices up on the wheat and flour. If they hear there is more money in town, they will just drive the prices up even higher,” Sarris said.
“I have spent months watching their operations,” she said. With a serious look she added, “A month ago they burned down a warehouse with grain inside because the manager would not do business with them. Some good families died because of them.”

Flynn watched her with a look of interest and curiosity. His gaze moving across her visage, pausing on the sloop sized deck before him as his gaze then continued up to her face “Oh I do agree with that” he chuckled a little, his back stinging with memory of his past as he nodded. “I think I would be rather delighted to assist you kitten. I can get a few men to help load and carry and who knows, a small fire could start for those bastards at their own place” he remarked with a serious look as he wasn’t fond of those who killed for such small things. He sipped his drink some and stood “right then luv let’s take Em down a peg or two and get these people what they need” his smirk returned as he said this, his eyes looking determined as he held out a hand to shake to make the deal official. This was turning into quite the year after all. He couldn’t help but be a bit excited to see it all play out and cause a little chaos while they were docked here for now. He was already considering who would be best to stay on the ship and who would be best to help

Sarris appreciated Flynn’s effort to make her feel like she was a sea worthy vessel by giving a bright blush from ear to ear, down her chest, and her arms.
She took his hand and shook it. Before picking up the glass and finishing its contents. “Can you get the cork back in this?” She asked handing over the bottle and the cork. She hated the thought of letting a good bottle of wine go bad, more so with one she had not paid for.
As they walked out of the tavern, Prince stuck his head out of a pocket looked at Captain Flynn and yawned like the Captain had just interrupted the most important nap in the world. Sarris paid the cat no heed.
“Cap’n, have you ever ridden on a Drake before?” Sarris asked then let out a whistling command. From the sky a shadow descended, wind moved as wings flapped as the Drake landed in the street. This was not to mention the snapped clothes like, pots falling from window ledges and some drunk sailors and working girls running for cover.
With a little concentration, her cloak changed color to a mottled pattern. easier to hide in the sky. “I would like to give you a different perspective, and so we can come up with an effective plan,” she said. She held out a hand like she was expecting him to help her onto his ship and then she swung her leg across her drake’s back. Hips she had and the movement of them waves of her skirts indicated a small draft without much wake.
“He is mostly tame,” she said with a smile ignoring the upset and drunk people.
She slid her broom into a saddle holder meant for a lance.
When they went airborne, Sarris gave him a nice quick tour of the city. Then focused on a set of three warehouses and a small hut. It is the three warehouses painted green. The one nearest the wharf is where he does most of his smuggling out of, the one near the hut is where he keeps the valuable stuff, and the one behind is where the sacks of grain and flour are.
“There are normally about four guards in the shack and two in the warehouses, The two guarding the food can be bribed,” she said patting the bottle of wine in her bag.

Flynn chuckled softly at her cute reaction to his glance and nodded soon taking the bottle from her and easily getting the cork back in "Of course luv" he replied soon handing it back and following her out. He grinned at the cat's actions "Quite the companion you've got there" he remarked before hearing her next question "Sadly I can't say I have" he was about to question further before she whistled and his eyes widened in amazement as he followed her closer carefully getting on "My my riding in style hm kitten? I must say he is quite a handsome devil. I must ask what is his name as well as your feline companion?" he asked genuinely curious before holding onto the saddle a bit upon lifting into the air. He relaxed after a bit and nodded listening to her and focusing on the buildings "Right and the others are knock outs I would assume." he remarked as he examined the terrain and lay out "Doesn't seem too bad. " He remarked as his tail swayed a bit in thought, this would be a semi-easy feat in his mind compared to some other things. Hell he didnt even have to feel bad for the saps with how cruel they were.

Sarris let Fireclaw climb and take them out over the sea. The lights of the city twinkled like candles on a cake as they flew and banked. Below the water looked black from darkness falling. “This is Fireclaw,” she said patting the Drake. “Prince is in my pocket,” she added. “I am Sarris,” she added. She did not use her formal elven name. She found most people did not care, even the elves. People did not really want to hear five or six generation of elven pedigree. She could go further back but that would be showing off.
Turning for land, they flew for the wharf. Landin in an open area not far from the captain’s ship.
She let Flynn dismount first then climbed off the drake’s back. “Go home,” she said to the Drake while giving it a gentle pat.
She put Prince on the harness and said, “You too.” The cat had other ideas about going but Fireclaw lifted off fast enough that Prince had no choice.
“I could burn the buildings down with my pet, but then the food is gone,” Sarris said as an explanation. “Normally, I would sneak in and out. But with this much food to move,” she added.

"I see. Well it's a pleasure to meet you. You already seem to know my name but allow me to properly introduce myself miss. I am Captain Flynn Brolleie of the Luna bell" He smiled and nodded a bit "It is a pleasure to meet all three of you" He then got off the drake and nodded listening to her speak "I'll gather some men and we can empty it. Then feel free to burn it all away kitten" he remarked with a grin as he looked to her "Shall we head to my ship to do some more planning? Im sure we can make this a holiday to remember "He remarked with a small playful wink "With someone as smart and beautiful as you i'm sure we can come up with a lovely plan in no time" he remarked truthfully. He did love to flirt but only really if he meant it. Yes he was a scoundrel pirate but he was usually rather honest and spoke his mind unless a situation truly called for lies in order to work. He wasn't a bad man considering his profession. He held out an arm to her to see if she would accept his invitation

“Crews talk if you flirt just right,” she said giving a little twirl to let her skirts rise. Not enough to expose herself but enough to draw the male eye. “And a girl has to have a few tricks at hand to find out what she wants to know,” she added. She did not want to get the crew in trouble. But she had heard Flynn’s name while sitting on the piling at the wharf.
Taking his arm she walked.
She thought for a moment.
“If it was me,” she started while giving him a look. “I would give some street kids hammers and nails to nail the windows of the shack shut and tie ropes to the door handles tying the ropes to the fence posts so the doors would not open. But, I am not a sailor so I do not know how to tie knots,” she said bringing her other hand up to his arm. “If I did something like that I would not have to kill the guards,” she added.
“Af for the warehouse, I might see if I could hire a few teamsters to haul the grain,” she said.
She walked quietly for a few moments she spoke again, “I may be a thief, but I am not not much of a smuggler. That is where my plan breaks down.”

"Oh really now?" He chuckled looking her over as she did her twirl and smiled as she took his arm "well I look forward to seeing you tease them" he joked a bit as they began to walk towards the ship which had a few lanterns aglow on her main deck.He then grinned hearing her words "Well I am sure a few of the lads could do that and as for learning how to tie I'm sure I could give you a lesson" He replied with a wink unable to help himself with such an opening to flirt."I'm sure we can handle it. The crew comes from all walks of life so there should be a good range of skill sets to pull from" He replied and thought about who could be good for different jobs and who could lead what group as he didnt want anyone getting caught or hurt in the plan. He cared for his crew like a family even if he wouldn't state that out loud to all of them. "I have a few in mind for leading the distraction and a few to gather for loading and helping get things back to the ship"

“Nice Ship,” Sarris’ said as the approached it letting her one arm fall. She did not want to be thought of as a ship looking for a quick berth in the harbor. The gods knew how upset her grandmother and aunt would be knowing that she was out on the docks, let alone hanging on the arm of a pirate captain. Pirates knew how to enjoy the moment, Bards too.
Seeing a street child, Sarris called over to him. “Boy!” She said to catch his attention. She held out one coin, then made it two, and then three between the outstretched fingers. She loved that sleight of hand. She was making sure she had his attention. “Run to the blacksmith, buy a bag of nails and four hammers for the Capt’n,” she said. “The crew needs to make some repairs before they load cargo,” she added. That part being a lie. “There will be three more coins, a warm meal, and place to sleep if you do this well,” she said to him with a warm smile. Sarris had room for a new orphan in her stable.
As they approached the gangway Sarris slowed down. She knew about the superstitions that sailors had and from being at the taverns on the docks, she knew she fit the profile of most of them. She did not stop to think that she might be the root of the superstitions and that her magic use might actually scare a sailor.
“If I come aboard, do you think there will be a problem with the crew?” She asked. Female, redhead, shapechanger, witch - well practically the this but no one had officially given her the title and Mistress Kamille made it clear she could not just declare herself a witch. Add in living with a band of Mage hunters.
