She heard some obscenities from the now freed man, but she also was completely ignoring him. All Celeste could think was how… messed up that was. But in a sweet way? All she could think was ‘holy Shit’ while she sort melted at him grabbing her hand, and his gentle smile. What is she getting herself into here? “Sounds… good.”
Once they got to the drinking hole, the reserved table took her head out of the spinny place for a moment. “Oh. Jester must have been here before. This was probably where we were going before.” Celeste smiles. “Doubt she planned this, but it’s a nice surprise anyhow, right?” Celeste looks up at him as she sits down. “You’re very… different than her. You said there’s six? What are the others like?” Honestly she was mostly trying to get her mind off the previous incident, but looking at him, it wasn’t that hard, really. still, part of her was still trying to keep a somewhat low profile, so she did examine her surroundings as she spoke. Trying to make sure nobody was paying all that much attention to them. Though, with a very tall, white haired man, that seemed harder than expected.

The duo got comfortable at the table Jester had ordered hours before, entering the bar from the crowded streets. Cultist pulled a chair out for Celeste, waited for her to be seated, then took the chair slightly to the side of the woman. He flagged the waitress over and began to order a drink, asking for two glasses of their finest wine. While they waited Cultist responded to the woman.
"Yeah there are six of us in here, we don't really know how or what is going on, its just always been this way. We are each different, have our own looks, thoughts and memories, but all share this one body. Yeah Jester is one of the nicer ones, I'm sorry I interrupted your evening out. "
He paused, as the waitress returned with their drinks, placing the glasses on the table top. His gloved hand grabbed the glass, then downed the entire beverage in one go.
"But what about you? I know your not from Zeinav, but you have to be here for a reason right? What brings you all the way up here?"

“Are you… One of the nicer ones?” She muses. Celeste sort of knew the answer to that question. Seeing what happened outside… Yeah, maybe he wasn’t one of the better ones. But nonetheless, she was here. “So we have Jester, you… Who are the others? Anyone scarier than you?”
When the waitress comes by with the drinks, Celeste takes a sip of hers and gently puts it down, watching him down with an eyebrow raised, but definitely amused. But his question made her face drop a little. She takes another sip, trying to think of a good way to answer that. Short and simple? That might be the best way…
“I… lost everything I had. I’m not quite here for a reason, I was just sort of… Passing through, I suppose? Looking for a place to settle down and start over? This is definitely not the place, though.” She shakes her head with a chuckle. “So I’ll be moving on. Not quite sure where yet.”

The silver headed man leaned back in his chair and allowed a playful chuckle to escape, amused at the woman's question. It was a hard question to answer, for on one hand he was the nicest of them all, the least likely to be rude or mean. However he was the most likely to kidnap, torture and kill someone for personal gain. But maybe Celeste did not need to know that yet. It was rare for him to have a conversation with someone this long, and have someone curious about his life. Janus in their entirety did not have many people in their life that cared about them.
"Ha, well the others would probably say that I am the worst. The truth is Celeste I have some bad habits, things normal people don't like. As for the others though, you already met Jester, she's great. There is Barbarian, she is the rude one, and Wizard, he is smart. Then you have my least favorites, Assassin, who is a bore and lame, and then Paladin, who hates me. "
Leaning forward, Cultist listened to the woman, completely understanding her story. He, as well as the other five, had been roaming Charon for years trying to find their place, their purpose. It was hard to make friends or find a purpose when every few days your entire persona completely changed. They didn't know what it was like to live a normal life, to have goals, ambitions, allies.
"Well Celeste, I understand that more than many. I to am trying to find a place. Charon is a wild place, and it can be rough to navigate.
He paused for a second, frozen with fear. These emotions were things he had never experienced before, at least not in this form. Was this what it was like to feel?
"If you don't mind the extra company, maybe I can accompany you on your journey for a few days, keep you from getting knocked over again? "

Celeste listens intently as he describes the others. “Everybody has bad habits. Besides, lucky for you, I’m not normal.” She smiles, chuckling slightly. “Jester is pretty great. Why is ‘Assassin’ your least favorite? And why does ‘paladin’ dislike you?” All questions she was genuinely curious about. After all, she really liked Cultist. He’s been nothing but amazing to her.
But then he asked about accompanying her. This wasn’t something she was against, especially with him and Jester. But for some reason it made her nervous. She tilts her head, unsure of how to answer for a moment. She sips her drink again, a small smile appearing. “If you promise I’m not keeping you from anything? Sure. I’d love some company. Especially yours.”
Would this mean she would eventually meet the rest? “Though I guess it also depends on how the others take it. I’m not sure if they’d even like my company.”

"Well Assassin is very boring. He has like no emotion and only likes to work. As for Paladin, well She does not like me because I sometimes do bad things."
He paused once again, unsure of how to reveal to the woman what it was he did, and why the others referred to him as the Cultist. He did not want to push Celeste away so quickly after meeting her, but between his violent nature and the constant switching of personalities, it was highly likely that she would find a logical reason to move on without them. So obviously he was surprised, and excited, when she agreed to travel together, bringing up how the others would feel.
"Honestly, I'm not really doing anything, none of us are really. We might say we are, but it can always wait. I must warn you though, if you do intend to travel together with me, you will for sure meet one, if not many of my other personalities. While I believe each of them will be kind too you, just thought I'd prepare you. "
The waitress returned with another couple of glasses, Cultist quickly downing his as quick as he did the first time. After finishing the drink, he slowly rifled through Janus's coin purse, pulling out a handful of coins. He left one Solar on the table as tip for the waitress, and then began to stand, offering his empty hand to Celeste.
"The road can be dangerous during the evening, and the sun is basically gone at this point. I can buy you a room here if you would like, then we could venture out in the morning? Do you have any ideas of where you might be headed to next?"

Celeste finishes her drink as she listens to him, nodding when he mentions her meeting the other personalities. She didn’t mind the idea. So she takes his hand, hiding another smile as she replied. “I don’t really have any plans at all. I’m in the wind… Just… I want to go anywhere that is not Starlight City. Or, rather, not the Crescent Isles at all. But for now, resting sounds like a good idea.” Celeste shrugs.
“I do like mysteries, and it seems like you and your friends are just one of those. Plus, at least it’s some pretty nice company.”
She was fairly happy just learning more about him. Plus, the less she talked about herself, honestly, the better. It’s not that it wasn’t interesting. Just how do you explain something like being part-spirit to someone? “Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?” She asks him. “Maybe we could go there. I do like exploring.” A good change of subject for her mind as well. Why she was so afraid of scaring off this person, she had no idea. He and Jester. They were the first people she’s met besides Flynn to show her any kindness. Celeste didn’t want to lose that.

"Great! Well I have been to a lot of interesting places, most of them pretty dangerous. There may be somewhere we could go though."
The duo arrived at the counter where Cultist proceeded to pay the tab, placing the needed Solars on the table top. He then purchased two rooms for the night, side by side, so that they could rest here before taking off in the morning. As he paid he pondered where in Charon they could visit. He had a lot of enemies, so those places were off limits, and many other places were far too dangerous. Thats when an idea came to mind, a pretty brilliant one.
"Oh! There is a place in Moonglade we could go, it is said to be extremely beautiful. Plus I have some business in the city, so we could knock out two things in one go?"
He smiled as the bar keep returned with two keys for the duo.

“Moonglade?” She grins. “I’ve never been. That sounds lovely.” Part of her hoped that nobody there would recognize her. A lot of people in Starlight city went to Moonglade for business. She never went with her parents. It always sounded far too boring. A gala, a meeting, a get together, a work retreat. Whatever. Her parent’s work was always boring to her. The thought process in her head could be seen on her face. She looked concerned for a second, as if she was trying to figure something out. Eventually, she figured it would be a long shot for her to bump into anyone she knows. If she does, she’ll be with Cultist. Or whoever she meets next of the mixed personalities.
“What sort of business? Would I be able to come along? It sounds less boring than exploring myself, and I do enjoy spending time with you…” Was she flirting? Even she couldn’t tell at this point. Even if it wasn’t meant like that, it was true. She was in very good company.

Celeste sounded excited to join him on his journey to Moonglade, claiming to have never been there before. Something was off though, for while she sounded excited, her face did not match her tone. A wave of concern spread across her face, disrupting the beauty if only for a moment before returning back to normal. But it was enough for him to catch, worrying that he had said something off. The moment vanished however and was quickly replaced with the joyful expression he had come to enjoy seeing in the woman.
"I can't promise my business will not be any less boring, I just need to meet with a business partner, nothing special. But you are absolutely welcome to join me, in fact I don't think I would want anyone else joining me. But before we make it to Eclipse city, there is a little spot in the Lantern Light woods I would like to take you. "
It was hard to read this woman, not because she was being coy or hiding things, the tall angelic man was just not good at reading people, especially in this capacity. Most of the people he interacted with ended up begging for their lives, so emotions outside of fear and terror were something he was not use to. Celeste had stuck around, choosing to stay in his company, which was rare. It puzzled the man, but there was no point in questioning her motives, and instead he decided to just go along with the moment.
"I ummm, I enjoy spending time with you as well Celeste."

Unfortunately for Celeste, she was pale enough that she could not hide the fluster that she got from his response. “The Lantern light woods?” She repeated, trying to hide a smile. “That sounds nice, I like that idea.” Celeste takes a moment to calm herself down though she was not entirely sure about why she was so worked up about this whole thing. Was this a date?
She stands up and offers her hand to the tall angelic man. “Should we do anything else before we leave? I don’t have any business anywhere so… I guess I'm good to go when you are?” She looked happy, almost excited. As excited as she was, she knew they were both feeling a little awkward. Nonetheless, she's definitely more interested in hanging out with him than she is exploring on her own.

He felt joy, a very strange sensation that he did not feel very often, at least not when spending time with a woman. His joy normally came from sacrificing heathens and hunting the world for demons, but here in this moment, this was true joy. His pale cheeks would have glowed red right along with hers, matching the energy. He slowly grabbed her hand, lifting it towards his face as if to kiss the top of it.
But that is not what happened.
As the man lowered himself, he instantly froze, a strange wobble rippling across his body. Celeste would recognize this, even if only slightly, he was about to transform again. No matter how hard Cultist tried, fighting back against the transformation, there was nothing he could do. Instead, the silver haired man faded into the void as a new personality took over. White long hair would be replaced by short, curly brown hair, a thick suit of armor replaced with long archmage robes. An aggressive looking cultist had just transformed into a calm, relaxed looking mage.
Wizard was now in charge. His blue eyes blinked behind brown bangs as he addressed Celeste in a very proper and well worded display of his intellect .
"Greetings Celeste, I am Wizard, and by now I assume you understand that I am one of Janus's other personalities. Cultist, the man you were speaking to, he needs to rest now, but he likes you very much and is excited to take you out on a date. And so I will be your escort for the time being. We can make our way towards Moonglade, and hopefully no one else decided to take over before we arrive. Some of us can be hard to deal with. "
Still holding Celeste's hand, Wizard began to lead her out of the building and on their way to the Lantern Light woods.

What was she doing? She barely knew this man. Why did this tall, slightly intimidating, angel-like man make her so nervous? Nonetheless, she could tell he felt the same way, somehow, and simply decided to just roll with it. She was going to add to her small vomit of words as he moved to kiss her hand - and then it wasn’t him anymore.
She panicked a little, but froze. He wasn’t dangerous, she could tell. Not like how Cultist possibly could be. Words failed her, and she kept wanting to interrupt, but not being able to.
“Cultist, the man you were speaking to, he needs to rest now, but he likes you very much and is excited to take you out on a date.” So many layers to unpack here. It wasn’t until she was being dragged away did she finally manage to blurt out some words. “Is that what you guys call him? Cultist? Can I ask why?” Though the part she was mostly focused on - and the reason her face was so red - was him mentioning this being a date. “How do you know what’s going on? When Jester disappeared, he had no idea what was happening…”
Why is she even trying? Clearly she wasn't gonna get answers yet, so she just sighed and accepted being dragged along. Hey, at least it was an adventure! And not one she was on alone anymore. That made her smile a bit.
