An unusually large wooden wagon with a window and counter on the side for customers to walk up to to buy various potions and poultices from the just as unusually large proprietor. The window is protected by a wooden awning overhead, allowing customers to stand underneath in a slight rain. Different smells come from the window, fresh herbs, ground spices, toasting nuts and seeds to bring out their alchemical uses. Smoke, on occasion, but that smell always fades away quickly with the sound of slight panic and a few grumbling sighs.
The back of the wagon is entirely taken over by a double door, allowing the entire back wall of the wagon to be opened up. A wooden staircase comes down from the wagon, allowing one to easily climb in and out. With the doors open, nearly the entire interior of the wagon can be viewed. It consists of a desk covered in alchemical tools and writing, the workstation where all of the shop's wares are mixed and brewed. A stool is tucked away under the desk to be pulled out while the alchemist is working. Several chests sit along the wall with the desk, filled, no doubt, with different ingredients and possessions. A cabinet hangs above the desk full of books, a wooden bar locked across them to make sure they don't fall out from the jostling of the wagon as it moves. Different herbs and mushrooms are hung from the ceiling with twine to dry. During the day, A Vampire Bat can also usually be seen hanging from the ceiling upside down, asleep.
Attached to the top of the cart near the front end is a small glass greenhouse where different herbs and flowers can be seen through the windows, growing in different pots and planter boxes on shelves. On one of the shelves of this greenhouse is a little bed where Ned the Big Bee sleeps. The bottom is connected to the inside of the wagon, allowing Ned to fly between the greenhouse and the rest of the wagon and allowing Beist to reach into it from the inside to water the plants and pick herbs for his potion making. The pots on the shelves are secured in place with wooden bars across them to make sure they don't fall from the cart shaking while moving.
At the front of the cart, beneath the greenhouse, is a curtained off area where Beist keeps a rolled up futon to sleep on along with some chests for their clothing. A window opens up from this area to the driver's seat at the front of the wagon.
The front of the wagon has a seat for a driver and a harness to attach to a steed to pull the cart. This harness usually sits empty, its occupant nowhere to be seen. The beast that pulls the wagon likes to go out and fly around freely, always released from their harness once the wagon's owner finds a nice spot to stop and open the sales window. On the occasion that one does walk up to the wagon while the beast is lazing about after coming back from a flight, they'll see an enormous griffon with the head, and talons of a golden eagle in the front and the body and back legs of a gigantic lion. They are affectionately referred to as "Dora" by the beastly owner of the wagon.
While travelling, the wagon's roof is lower than it is while stationary. To make the interior tall enough for the gigantic proprietor to stand within, the roof can rise higher, and then lower to make it more stable while moving.
Beist, the owner of the wagon and the creator and seller of their wares, is a monstrously large, beastly man. They stand at 15' 6" tall with a thick, muscular build. Two different pairs of horns, one smaller and the other antler-like, reaching up beyond their tall height. A thick, scalie tail with a soft tuft of fur at the end extends from the base of their spine which has spikes running down its length. Their body is mostly covered by thick, slightly curly grey fur, with their upper arms covered in greenish blue scales. The little skin that shows is a bluish grey. Their fingers are tipped with long, sharp claws and their feet are like those of a bear. Their face consists of a wide, bovine-like nose above a mouth full of tusks and fangs that poke out even while closed. Their ears are pointed and slightly droopy. Their green eyes look tired, but otherwise remain the most human-looking part of the man.
Despite his monstrous appearance, Beist happily welcomes anyone approaching his shop and sells them his wares at fair prices. From simple fever reducing medicine to life-saving potions, and potions that have more interesting effects.
