Elrodan confident in his skills developed back when with Kamille, he lets the old man charge and swing the broom. At the top of the arc, the broom hits a sheet of light and stops. Elrodan rises, his hands still on the edge of the fence but now his eyes glow and his skin and hair seem paler. "I am not your enemy, be at peace. Your garden is a place of serenity and meditation. Do not cloud it's aura with these hostilities." A voice similar to Elrodan's comes out, and the man lowers the broom, his demeanour calming and becoming civil. 

Once high enough, though his wings flap to fly him, he steps over the fence and holds out his hands. "It is understandable, but not all of those of this size are undesirables." with that, Elrodan holds out his hands to guide the man, and leads him back to the tree. Once there, he encourages the man to sit. "Please, rest. I will then play some music to help soothe you." Elrodan says, as he settles himself besides the man and draws out his flute. |OK Elrodan, now it is your turn, something nice and peaceful|.

The glow in his eyes and skin fades as Elrodan comes back to himself and starts to play upon the flute.

Wall of Light
Calming Aura

Hylltywyll watched in disbelief as the broom was stopped by a wall of light. He watched the man suddenly calm down and allow himself to be lead away by Elrodan. After a moment, he heard music start to come from behind the fence. He crept over and snuck through the hole in the fence again, watching the scene play out from behind the bushes. Elrodan played the flute while the man began meditating under the cherry tree.

He thought for a moment and realized this Elrodan person was really the exact opposite of him. He was undoing the mischief that Hylltywyll had caused. How infuriating! He thought about charging at them, the one that was ruining his hard work. But then he noticed the door to the man's house was still open. He had forgotten to close it as he charged at Elrodan with his broom. The old man was lost in his meditation, his eyes closed. Elrodan was facing the other way, busy playing his music. This was the perfect opportunity to go somewhere he had never gone before!

He quietly crept across the yard, keeping an eye on the old man and Elrodan. He had the most wicked smile as he crossed the threshold of the door and looked around at the inside of the man's house for the first time. Perhaps he'd have to consider the favor he had done for Elrodan repaid.

With time, Elrodan felt a complete sense of peace within himself too. He kept playing but it was almost as if he had fallen into some form meditation or trance, then with a long, slow, gentle note, he stopped playing. "This is the grace and resting sensation from following Estë. Remember to give her your thanks.". Although Elrodan had said it, he felt like he had been encouraged to say it. Not fully his own voice and actions nor those of the spirit within. |Why did I say that| he mused, |I told you before, you wish for this power, you will become an acolyte of Estë| came the voice.

Regardless, Elrodan felt no need to move or do anything but stay as he was, but there was a quiet sound behind him in the direction of the house that just wouldn't leave his mind be. He opened his eyes to see the old man doing much the same as he turned to see what the cause of it had been.

Hylltywyll ran around inside the house, looking at and touching everything he could. He pulled books off of shelves and tossed them behind him. He went into the bedroom and pulled open a wardrobe. He pulled robes down off their hangers and rifled through their pockets. He found a few trinkets that he tangled into his fur for safekeeping. He went into another small room that had more bookshelves and desks. A study of some kind, maybe. He looked around for anything he could steal or use to cause some mischief, but he noticed that the music that had been coming from the back door had stopped.

He looked back, deciding it was time for him to leave. He ran over to a window and climbed up onto the ledge. He undid the latch and opened it. He glanced behind him at the back door and saw Elrodan standing in the doorway. He gave them a smile as he leapt out the open window.

Having risen to go see what the noise had been Elrodan was initially confused when he saw Hylltywyll in the window smiling. Was he laughing at the mess the man lived in? That didn't seem right, but then he sensed the man looming behind him.

"That ****ing fairy! I'll wring his neck! Were you in on this too? Distracting me with that music off yours? Huh!" the man half shouted coming to a sudden rage.
"No, I nothing to do with this, it's your home. Wait Hylltywyll did this? Why would he do such a thing? I know we're very different types of fairy but even so." Elrodan replied looking around at the chaos.
"Of course it piggin well was! I don't live like an animal. That thing is nothing but trouble. Always thieving, destroying and tricking people." the man derided back and pushed past and grabbed a few bits and slammed them back into place.
"Oh.. Well let me help tidy a little too help." Elrodan said picking up a ornament of some kind and inspecting it.
"No thank you!" the man said, snatching the ornament back and pushing Elrodan towards the door.
"Ok, well bye..." Elrodan said and the door was slammed shut behind him. He stood in front of the door, looked around a bit, brushed down and arm then flew up onto the roof where he sat considering what had happened.

Hylltywyll landed outside the window and listened for a moment. He laughed quietly to himself as he heard the man shouting at Elrodan inside the house. Well, his work here was done. He scampered away while the two were preoccupied, the old man with cleaning up and Elrodan with being yelled at. Hiding under a bush, he started pulling his latest stolen treasure out of his fur to inspect them.

A necklace of some kind, with little silver animals and plants on it. A nice find. He stuck that around his neck and buried it in his fur for safekeeping. An embroidered handkerchief. That'll make some nice bedding. Some kind of small purple crystal. So shiny. That's a keeper. This had been a great haul! He almost wanted to thank Elrodan for his help. If he ever met the chump again.

He left the bushes, deciding this trip to the village was eventful enough. It was time to go back home to deposit his new ill-gotten gains.
