History
Once long ago, gods walked the earth. Ageless, beautiful, undying. The Blood Gods, they were called by those of lesser lineage. Supreme leaders of all vampirekin, these demigods were not simply vampires. They had no body of flesh and bone, their minds were housed within their magic blood. Their blood, and thus their power, could infinitely regenerate and expand. They had no weakness, the sun could not burn them for they could simply heal their wounds for eternity. They did not need to feed, for their magic could sustain themselves forever. Akin to gods they were. Until they fell.
Little is known of their mysterious disappearance, some say they wiped each other out in bloody conflict, some say they meddled in the affairs of true gods and were punished like the false deities they are.
Now, after more than eight millennia, Elquel Nosvlad, descendant of the grand empyrean lineage of the Ancient High Noble Vampyre, has awakened.
