"Bucky and I were looking for a little place to rest and stumbled into the rest of this." He smiled softly.
"It's OK to get scared Goody." He was unsure whether to give them a reassuring pat on the head or what the proper sentiment was for a Beanie. "It happens to all of us some times."
As Star takes off down the tunnels, the light fae follows after to help everyone see. Thankfully, it seemed like the flederwulfs have given up on their hunt this time. Now that the Beanies had two relatively larger things with them, the fight was far less one sided. They would find food somewhere else then.
Galvynn follows after Star until he catches the small glint of light. The dying embers of a torch are the last bits of warmth these people are holding on to. They flinch seeing the light of the fae and the rest of the shadows moving towards them.
The druid steps past to approach the group of huddled people, "Sorry to scare you, but we are here to help you out."
"Wh-what? Who are you, how did you find us?"
"Thanks to these three helpful friends." Galvynn smiles and motions to the Beanies before offering a hand to help the man out.
"We can't leave, our daughter...she's too sick. We were heading to a town with a healer, but she got worse. We tried to wait out the worst in here then those creatures chased us."
"Friends, can you watch over them a moment?" Galvynn looks to the Beanies as he starts to take some seemingly random things from his pockets to mix and mash into a mortar.

Goody felt a little better with Galvynn's words, though not by much, even if they were deeply aware they couldn't always be strong. That's what Star and Chili and Demony were there for, but the good-natured plush couldn't stop themselves from considering other possibilities. The travellers would not have much reaction to the Beanies immediately, though that could be largely attributed to their diminutive sizes relative to Galvynn's, and likely diminished awareness as a result of being stuck in the tunnels for longer than they had originally planned. """Okay!""" The Beanies replied in unison, which elicited astonished gasps from the travellers. "Talking plush toys?" One of them raised their eyebrows in disbelief, wondering if the man they were with was patently insane. "Demony! A little help please?" Goody asked cheerily, and the shadowy frenemy would groan internally as it jumped over Galvynn whereby the Beanies would hop onto its back and be carried over to the group of people. "The teddy bears move!" Another traveller leaned backwards with eyes widened, while some others would rub their eyes and glasses, all collectively disbelieving the reality that unfolded in front of their eyes. """Hi everyone!""" The Beanies waved their arms at all the travellers as though they were part of a celebratory parade and showing appreciation to everyone giving them their undivided attention. "Star is Star!" Star jumped on Demony's back while flapping their wings up and down. "Goody!" Goody stood up and waved widely on both sides in an eye-catching manner. "Chili!" Chili puffed their non-existent chest in pride.
Demony was getting annoyed at this point, and would jump on its hind legs, causing the Beanies to fly forwards and land ungracefully on the floor, right in front of the sick daughter. Unperturbed by the sudden hostility, the Beanies sprang right back up and hopped over to the unwell child who was clearly in pain. "It's okay, miss. You'll be okay soon," Goody spoke gently as they slowly walked up to their face and, seeing the child not showing any hostile or troubled expression, gave them a gentle nuzzle. Star and Chili would also join in on the nuzzling, eliciting a pained but some happy smile from the other party.

While the Beanies focused on talking with people, Galvynn could focus on the concoction he was making. It was heartwarming to see how much good the Beanies wanted to do and the ways they powered through despite their size. The uniqueness helps the girl feel comfortable and the softness helps the parents feel less afraid.
All the while the druid was mashing leaves and water together. Eventually it all starts to come together in a dark green liquid. The mixture does not look appetizing in the slightest and in fact it is going to taste about as good as it smells and looks. He kneels down and offers it to the parents.[1]
"Please...help her drink this. I cannot promise it will go down well, but it will give us the time we need." Galvynn smiles softly.
"Time for what?" The father looks curiously as the mother takes the potion.
"To find a safer place to rest. I can take a look and see what may be afflicting her and make something that is better able to help her...but here in this darkness and uneven space it will be hard."
The girl takes small sips and coughs as she chokes it down. It seems to stop the shivering for the moment, but she is clearly still very sick. Galvynn stands and offers to help them stand as well. He is quick to begin leading them out, letting Bucky take the front. The big bad badger could square away anything that may come their way.
"You're welcome to follow with us back to the village you three. Seems better than wandering out alone when it is starting to get so late."

The Beanies would gladly follow Galvynn and the entourage to the village, even if they had no way of determining the time. They have had enough tunnel spelunking for today, and maybe for a while until it became tempting enough for another break from routine. All the while, they would chat with the travellers, lightening the mood and bringing some semblance of joy to the precarious situation they were in as they trudged along with the badger taking the lead, and Demony subconsciously taking the rear, if only because it had no desire to interact with anyone or anything.
Luckily for everyone involved, they would safely arrive in the village without further disruptions by the pack of creatures that assailed the Beanies just moments ago, which were what the travellers called flederwulfs. It just so happened to be the village they had departed from, which meant their jobs were done so they'd hop off to report on the successful rescue. Before that, though, the Beanies would thank Galvynn and their badger once again for their help, and raise their arms wide for a hug, if they would take them. They were mature teddy bears who respected boundaries.
Once they finished their report and received their reward, the Beanies would check on the travellers to give each of them parting hugs, making sure to give the girl an extra fuzzy hug with A Touch of Warmth before calling it a day and returning to their wagon to retire for the night.
