The Oath Watchers
While many knights swear oaths to the rulers of their country, the Oath Watchers exist outside of that hierarchy. Their oath is taken for the people, to protect those who cannot protect themselves and to keep an eye out for tyranny. Oath Watchers are an order dedicated to protecting everyone regardless of where they come from.
The order also takes on jobs that many other knightly orders might avoid. Oath Watchers are often found on the front lines of battles against the undead or fiendish creatures. Evil and horrific monsters are commonplace for most of the Oath Watchers.
But the order is about more than just fighting. Many members also offer healing and curative services as well. As a member of the Oath Watchers, you understand that protecting people is not always about fighting monsters. No job is too small, a sprained ankle is just as important as a rampaging lich. To swear the oath and join the order is to understand that justice cannot be handed out in a one size fits all fashion, that the commonfolk are just as important as nobility, and that helping people in need is the greatest good that can be done.
