After moving into a permanent residence close to his old home, Aledüne has decided that making a show of good faith would help his public imagine in the region before he makes himself known to the public. He arrives in the village with a squad of undead and corpse carts. Clearly a necromancer, the undead are naturally aware of his presence, but as he starts raising the corpses and putting them to work clearing forest, making ditches and in general working to assist the villagers on the simpler points of construction. The undead seem well cared for, and are embalmed in bandages and various oils that prevent decay and smells. Their wounds and rotting flesh has been covered for the most part, and made presentable enough that their presence cause more unrest than what would be normal.
One other man, dressed in a black armour, carrying a shield with the symbol of Solaris, and an obsidian blade with the same symbol accompanies Aledüne. Black raven hair and a sickening yellow hue to his green eyes and tanned skin makes the man look sickly. Despite this he carries a healthy smile as he walks around helping the villagers in some of the more complex tasks with great vigour. The man is charismatic, and grows quickly popular with some of the older children as he starts playing with them at the same time as he does what work he can.
Aledüne himself has found himself talking with the village chief, as he asks where he would prefer the undead to help out and not long after his arrival the town is buzzing with activity as the wary townsfolk happily cooperates to get some of the heavier work done quicker. Dragon's Cradle wasn't alien to the presence of black magicians, and while still careful, they had warmed up to him quickly.

Sarne had come in on a wagon carrying supplise This village was a mess it looked like a war zone some people were still in shock others cleaning what they had left some people helping others. The recovery seems to be organized. Sarne stepped off and started to walk checking out where Sarne could be of help. Sarne asked who was in charge. They pointed out a Village chief walking with some other man. Looking him over gave Sarne a bad feeling this was not a man of light. Sane looked around as he placed his hand on the hilt of his sword instinctively. The others helping here were undead. They were not attacking the people was Sarne was a little confused. The man had bright hair that cascaded like liquid sunlight, catching even the faintest glimmer of light. his slim frame made Sarne wonder about the man's strength. His lithe physique exudes an air of grace and agility, and his tall stature gives him a commanding presence that demands attention. His vibrant blue eyes were almost unnaturally so. They hold an intense, piercing quality. The man's skin carries a cold pallor. This, with the rest of his appearance, gives him a clear otherworldly quality. His attire, A rough red robe of good quality designed for the road but is well maintained. His long dark cloak with pauldrons at the sides. The fabric is black, but smooth as silk. Two jewels decorated with rubies are attached to each side with a golden chain connecting the two sides of the cloak to allow for ease of wear. The inside of the cloak appeared to be red silk instead of black. The cloak is neck high and with a hood that hangs down the back. The man did not give a trusting feeling to Sarne. Sarne walked up to the two men. He eyed the necromancer but talked to the Town leader. "I am Sarne Sequoia of Grey Stone Keep Captain of the Black Wolves Hunters," Sarne said with a slight bow of his head intruding himself. " How can I help?" he asked offering what he could.

The village chief seems a bit surprised by nobility coming to help, already feeling like his hands were full by the presence of a Necromancer.
"Ah, my lord. Please, don't bow your head to one such low stature. I don't want others to think that I put myself above noble lineage." He places a careful tap on Sarne's shoulders, as if he wanted to raise them up, but too afraid to make physical contact.
"The work is already going great mylord. Lord Nevaar here from Dragon's Cradle is already helping out, it is his.. undead that you see around. Please don't worry about his presence..." The man's voice is nervous, knowing that the view on undead are many, he still doesn't wish a fight to break out here.
"Why don't the two of you discuss some of your ideas in between the two you, as I think I need to check up on something. I will be right back, and you can both tell me your ideas. I am afraid we don't have anything to reward either of you with... please..." He seems to struggle with his words for a moment, not quite managing to say what he really wants, and instead starts walking away towards the village centre, clearly happy to be away from a potential conflict between nobles.
Lord Nevaar as he was introduced has so far simply been standing there, observing Sarne as the village elder makes his excuses to back away. He offers a smile, and does a similar bow to what Sarne had already done towards the village chief.
"The name is Aledüne Nevaar. Its a pleasure to meet someone of the Sequoia bloodline, and so far away from their border. I have heard the name in passing, so excuse my ignorance on the finer points of your family. If you wish to help here as well, don't let me stand in your way and let me know your thoughts."
He offers a friendly smile, his hand on his chest he eyes the arm resting on the hilt of the blade. Not intimidated he turns his back to him for a moment as he points to one of the outer farms that was still under construction by a large part of the undead.
"We have been working hard to get the farm up in time for the farmers to sow their seeds before it is too late for the season. Luckily it is going quickly, and the work should be done in a fourth night."
He turns back. His words and demeanour contrary to Sarne's initial distrust of the man seem to mark him as a kind man. Necromancy aside, he has the bearing and appearance of the ideal noble.

Lord Nevaar knows he is a nobleman in the way he presents himself, his armor, and his clothing. His piercing green eyes shine in the light. He stands almost 6 feet. His dirty blond hair is neat and well-kept. His skin is slightly tan showing the time he spent in the wilderness. The Harness he wars underneath the cloak, but over normal attire, the harness comes equipped with numerous leather rings and straps to which larger equipment can be secured close to the body to prevent the items from making sound while moving. Making him quiet when he walks.
A full-body cloak with long wide sleeves and a hood, made of canvas is a flat, matte grey color, His cloak is large enough to fully cover his body, and then some, able to hide his arm and leg movement while under the cloak. His armor and cloak have a crest that could be seen on his front and back, A large tree with two wolf heads on each side pointing at the tree with three stars above it. With a black sword in the background pointing down with a holy rune over it and a fire rune under it.
Sarne pursued thinking of what to do Lord Nevaar of Dragon's Cradle was here as well and with an army of undead. This troubled Sarne greatly. "Lord Nevaar of Dragon's Cradle. I see even those who deal with the dead can have mercy, " commented Sarne. "The wagon over there has supplies for the town here. It was all I could get contributed for now." explained Sarne his tone was pleasant.
Looking around at the undead. "Maybe you can have some of your ah... workers, unload it," asked Sarne now looking at Lord Nevaar. "Tell me Lord Nevaar, are any of the undead raised from this town?" asked Sarne sounding concerned.

"Do you mean to ask me if I would raise the dead in front of their family and friends? No, and I will do my best not to take offense from the insinuation that I would do so. The dead you see are from graves long lost and tombs long forgotten. There is nobody that would miss or recognize any of them, and I take good care of them. To me they are mere tools of the profession, but I am not blind to the meaning and value some put behind a mans dead flesh."
There is a moment as he looks around, directing silently some of the undead to take care of your cart.
"I hope you can understand that what I do is something of a profession in and off itself, and the actions of a few bad eggs unable to act with some tact has ways ruined the good name of all Necromancers. Marked as evil, or vile when in fact it is closer to an act of communing with the dead on many levels."
He waves to the Paladin that had been working with the townsfolk. "Jonathan, why don't you come over here for a moment." The paladin puts away a stack of wood and walks over to the two. His face is blank, but he does give a polite nod to Sarne. "Jonathan here used to be a paladin, but he fell to ruin after a personal incident. Rotting away in his tomb he had been forgotten, but with my aid he is now here doing good, a chance to redeem himself, for himself only."

Sarne did not look like he was still happy with the whole idea. Sarne was not there for that reason. Looking over the paladin he wondered how much that paladin knew what was going on with him. With the Symble of Solaris on his shield also bothered Sarne. Solari's followers did not like the undead. Normally they would kill the undead on sight. "I am grateful for your answer Lord Nevaar. I can respect your views," replies Sarne. "And thank you for your help with the wagon," said Sarne with an appreciative tone. When Sarne had just finished thanking Lord Nevaar. there was a loud crash and some screams as a building fell. there were people around it yelling what sounded like someone trying to get to someone trapped in the rubble. Sarne looked in that direction. "Lord Nevaar, I think that is why we are here I think," stated Sarne with a smile.
In the rubble there was a man trapped under a large wooden beam. People crowd around the building looking on. Some men trying to help pick up the large wooden beam to get the man out. They struggle to move the beam but with no prevail. Others started to clear some of the rubble so more people can get involved.

The building falls and Sarne runs over to help. Smiling. It actually threw Aledüne off, not expecting someone of noble lineage to get such excitement from a situation where people might be severely hurt. Non the less, Aledüne himself wasn't too different. He didn't really care much about the life of strangers he had no emotional attachment to. Running after Sarne he calls about ten of the undead working on a ditch close by over to help.
"They are slow, and individually not very strong, but hopefully they can be of assistance here." The man trapped was in his mid forties. A strong man, worker and farmer. The pillar that was supposed to hold the building steady had been too thin to hold the weight of the entire house and had broken under construction. Laying over his stomach, the pillar was squeezing the air from him, making breathing difficult. And he likely had multiple bone fractures. Aledüne bends down to examine the rubble underneath, and with a worried expression he places on his face, lifts his hand. "Please stop clearing the rubble. If you remove too much of it, the pillar might come loose and crush this man completely."
He points to one of the women who had gathered, looking distraught. "Do not worry however. I need you to run and get me as many axes and saws as you can, we are going to need to remove the pillar, lessening its weight before we remove the rubble holding it up."

Bending down and looking too. "Lord Nevaar. You are right" said Sarne. "But we can build up some stuff under the wood beam. When we are to cut the wood beam we might kill him with the movement of the cutting. Looking around Sane saw the wood lying here and there. Turning to some of the people there "collect the wood for framing pieces. Sarne reached down picking up a piece of wood that looks like this one." Sarne explained.
"Lord Nevaar, I will try to brace it so it does not move lower or roll and crush the man. Sarne also looked at another villager. "Get one of your healers here he will need one when we get him out." It did sound like orders more than requests but his tone was not a rude one as Sarne spoke. Sarne looked at than man carefully as people started to bring the wood he started to stack it as close to the pined man as Sarne could.
Placing wood until Sane could no moor. Taking a few moor pieces of wood angled them to make a V holding the beam in place. Then use rope to secure it in place. "I hope this holds where are some pulleys when we need them," commented Sarne.
People start to show up with tools some long two-man tree saws. Sarne stepped back to let the men in. Sarne would let Lord Nevaar deal with this part he was running that part. Something Sarne's father taught him not to undercut another leader just makes for more confusion. "Lord Nevaar, I think they are waiting on you," said Sarne stepping back some but at the ready to jump in if necessary.

As the village scatter to gather the requested supplies, Aledüne remains silent for a minute as he considers what to do. Realizing something he turns and calls out to the knight he had introduced as Jonathan. "Come over here for a moment. I am going to need you leverage yourself under this pillar as much as possible while we work. If it does loosen and fall on him, you can take at least part of the force pressing down on him, and if you can, try and elevate the strain on his body any way you can."
The knight only nods, not saying anything as he begins taking off his armour while Sarne works on the piece of wood. When unarmoured he lowers himself low to the ground and close to the trapped man, and while Aledüne holds everything steady with the help of a few of his undead, Jonathan could manage to push one of his arms into one of the small openings, readying himself in case he needed to cover for the poor man who was very confused as to why someone would endanger themselves in such a manner.
"Good." Aledüne looks to Sarne and nods as the villagers arrive with the tools. "The undead will help pull the rope, I am going to need you Sarne be ready to pull the man out quickly when you can."
With those words Aldüne begins organizing the villagers. Two to saw through the pillar and the rest to remove any rubble in the aftermath. The rope is tied to the lower end of the pillar, close to where the man was trapped. Holding its weight the sawmen starts cutting through the wood, as some of the undead stands ready to catch the sawn off part and carry it away.
The whole thing goes quickly. The pillar is sawn in half, and after carrying the piece away the villagers rush to remove the rubble holding the rest up. With the worst out of the way, the pulley team could manage to keep the pillar in the air with the assistance of Jonathan who supported the weight of it with his own body that he had so far carefully placed under the pillar.
With everything ready, it was only for Sarne to pull the man out.

Watching with interest Srane was ready even if he had to throw himself under the wooden beam. the villagers cut the wood beam carefully making every move of their blades count. The man pined and made a grunt or groan every so often showing the man was still with them. His lips were starting to turn blue for the lack of air he was getting. Time now was very important.
As they got closer to getting the log lifted Sarne seemed to speak to the back of the crowd that had formed "Nordic! Show yourself," a Dwarf stepped out of the shadows walking forward "Yes Captain" the Dwarf replied. "Help out Jonathan." Sarne ordered Nordic grabbing a thick pole and leveraging it next to Jonathan and the pinned man. "not look at but talking to Lord Nevaar. "This is one of my men Nordic, he is part of my Black Wolf Outfit," explained Sarne.
As the wood beam was lifted off the Pinned man Sarne wasted no time getting the man out as gently as he could. The pinned man yelled in some pain as he was moved. There was some blood from the cuts he had gotten from the wood beam. Sane stepped back when the pinned man was safe and clear of the rubble. two healers started to help the man while his wife was crying with joy at his side.
Two others step out from different places appearing out of shadows as well. "This is Naesala and Vamir and over there is Nordic," said Sarne intruding his retainers. they were all dressed in black with the outfit crest a shield the head of a snarling wolf and a sword in the background pointed down.
"Lord Nevaar, most excellent work and engineering I am grateful and impressed by you and your.... Ah...., henchmen." complemented Sarne.

With the man out, and the villagers at a safe distance, he makes sure the undead and his knight let go of the rubble safely. The building collapses completely now that the pillar was no longer there to support the rest of the rubble.
As the healers begin their job, and the companions Sarne had with him decided to make make themselves known, Aledüne can't help raise an eyebrow. Had this man been hiding a fighting force with the intent on ambushing him?
Whatever he was thinking however he doesn't let it show, giving Jonathan a mental note to stick close by. The knight takes up position behind his master, closing his eyes he seems tired.
"To you as well. The villagers should be thankful that you had the foresight to bring healers all the way out here. Lets just make sure no more situations like this occur while we are here shall we?" There is a pleasant chuckle as he makes the comment, as if he had made a light-hearted joke.
"The Sequoia family should be proud to have raised such a capable knight. I am sure you are a capable warrior as you are a leader of your men hmm?" He eyes each of the retainers, giving them a polite smile. "They all seem capable, you have trained yourself some fine retainers."

Sanre could tell as Lord Nevaar eyed his retainers that Lord Nevaar was surprised by their appearance. Sarne thought yeah, Sarne would be surprised if they just showed up on him. Even Sarne would be skeptical about them. Sarne let out a sigh disappointed in himself. Lord Nevaar was a lord and Sarne did not show the respect he should have. Even though he was a Necromancer. Normally a enemy of his god and his order. Sarne would have to rethink some of the way his outfit thinks.
"Lord Nevaar, Your words are too kind," said Sarne with a small bow to Lord Nevaar. "I must apologize for not having shown my retainers earlier." Says Sarne with true guilt. Seeing Sarne bow. The three retainers do the same but say nothing.
Straightening up and now looking back at Nevaar. "I hope this will not reflect poorly on my etiquette or family," Sarne tells Lord Nevaar. "I saw the Undead on the way in and did not know what was the Undead's intention. I complement Jonathan and his performance I hope you make your goal and get the peace you have earned. I am not used to this type of use of them. Which you did masterfully." complementing Lord Nevaar.

He returns the bow politely if not somewhat reserved. "Kind words begets kind words it seems. Aside we have both done good work here today, and there is much more to be done. I should return to the village chief and salvage the building of what materials we can. The supplies you brought are likely going to be needed, and there is a lot more construction needed to finish the constructions needed for the self sufficiency of the village."
He takes a step back, ready to turn and walk back to where the chief is calming the other villagers after the incident. "Should you stick around lets have another talk, but work comes first. Good evening lord Sequoia."
With those words he walks back to his work.
