"Oh the first thing I'm telling Shaa when I see him is how you got slimed after jumping into an Origin Matter." He grinned. "I think Slimeius is going to be your new nick name, gonnna make that one stick."

He put his hands on his hips as he looked over the scene. All things considered this went better than it could have. The thing was gone in a pretty decisive way. He catches Blue's look as he is about to explain what happened.

"Dead or not it seems to have run away, right? So, at the very least this thing will know next time that this place isn't just free real estate. And we know to come with a few more magical people. I bet between Astrid and I with our magical weapons we could pop the bubble in no time.....Wolfe's right though, let's get back to town. You need a bath and Wolf and I need lunch."

"Gerhart, I swear," he hisses under his breath.

There was no helping it, the young fighter would just do whatever he wants. And really Zarius had no power in this situation. 

He sighs. "I guess. I just hope it did not decide to go wreck Darkveil instead."

Their job not finished in his mind, but with little else they could do given the situation he had to concede to their suggestions to call it quits. The group heads back to the city which luckily has not suffered any rampage from the missing Origin Matter. Zarius offers both fighters a chance to get cleaned up and fed at the Rookery as thanks for their help, even if in his mind, they did fail the mission.

Once Blue has basically depleted all of the Rookery's stocked food, Zarius bids the two fighters farewell on their journeys back home or on to whatever their next adventures are. 

It wouldn't be the last time their paths crossed.
