Bliss (Divya Quarildus)
Gender: Female
Age: 29
Race: Tiefling
Nationality: Nomadic, currently based in the Ash Lands
Appearance
On the shorter side, Bliss is an oddly albino tiefling with a single horn the curves to a sharp point. Her ears are long and expressive, not unlike those of a horse, while her tail is more akin to a lion's, save the luxurious length of the hair at its end. Her feet end in cloven hooves, which she keeps well groomed. Her pale hair is also kept in pristine fashion, for she spares no expense in her appearance. After all, it's how she earns her money. That, and her jaw dropping voluptuous body. Shall we say... Bliss doesn't want for company when she desires it.

Personality
In nearly all ways possible, Bliss is a charmer. She is a social chameleon, able to blend in with many types of people and make them welcome in her presence. To gain someone's trust is exhilarating for her, not because she truly cares for others, but because it makes them all the more easy to manipulate. It can be hard to see through the mask of Bliss, who portrays herself as a friendly, vivacious woman. Perhaps it's better if you didn't. Not many who see her true persona live to tell the tale.
At her heart, Bliss is a conniving schemer. She delights in showing others the tempting sins of the world that shouldn't be indulged. She lures others in to wrap them around her toxic fingers, and it's anyone's guess as to why. For pleasure or power, only Bliss knows.

History
In the beginning was a mother who loved. She was a young woman, under the thumb of her noble father. She was an illegitimate child, begat from her father's affairs and brought into his household begrudgingly. She was brought up to be a token, traded off to another noble as his bride whenever her father saw fit to make an advantageous deal.
However, his daughter fell in love with another, a guard of their household. The two women was distraught when the bastard daughter was finally to be married off. You see, the father had discovered their romance and made arrangements within the week to see her off. Before she could flee with her lover, the father locked her away and dismissed the guard from his service.
In despair, the woman called out to whoever and whatever would listen. And something answered. From the bowels of darkness, a demon of corruption offered its hand to the helpless woman. In her desperation and anger, she took it.
In the month left until her marriage, the people of the manor were driven mad under her whispers. When, at last, her father perished, the woman left the manor. Not a soul inside stopped her departure, and she disappeared.
Some years later, she and her guard wife made their home on the edge of a forest. They wed privately, and soon, the child who would become Bliss was born. Given the name Divya, taking her guard mother's surname of Quarildus.
It was clear from birth that, despite neither mother being a tiefling, Bliss certainly was. Her birth mother's Fiendish nature had passed, in some ways, to her daughter. It mattered little, because the three were happy with their lives.
As Divya grew older, she explored further and further, until she found a small village. She was a but a young teen, and had seen no other children her age in her entire life. But! Behold a group of other teens, boys and girls also exploring the surroundings of their village in the fashion of bored youths. Excited, Divya greeted them and received a lukewarm response.
While Divya was unaware of the perception of tieflings, these young teens were taught from childhood that those of fiendish appearance were dangerous and demonkin to run from. In spite of her best efforts, young Divya was eventually alone once more. She lingered enough to harvest roots and wild herbs for her mothers, before turning toward home.
Unknowingly, she led a parent, a stealthy hunter, of on of the teens to her family's cabin. She deposited her good with her mothers, and they had a night of good food and cheer. It was the last night she had with her mothers.
As they slept, Divya left to wander the forest, restless. She meant to walk to the creek and stargaze, but fell asleep under the night sky. Smoke and screams woke her. Disoriented and confused, Divya followed the smoke to her family's burning cabin. A group of stood around it, the door blocked from opening. In the light of the fire, Divya recognized one of the boys she had tried to befriend.
The screams of her mothers eventually died, but the fire raged as she stood frozen, hidden by the trees as she shook with rage and tears. She watched the group walk away, satisfied with their deed. Divya stayed and waited for the fire to die. She found the scorched corpses of her mothers and painstakingly buried them, mind filled with grief and vengeance.
Using her knowledge of the forest and what hers taught her, Divya found what she needed. Every night, she snuck into the village. She learned their routines, until she knew them by heart. Then, for a month, she poisoned their well until every last person lay dead or dying. As they were weakened, Divya stole a knife from an empty home and walked through the village at the end of that month. Anyone who still breathed no longer did so once the dawn broke.
At last satisfied, Divya scavenged what she needed from the dead village and left. The remainder of her life she spent on the road, learning to dance and sing when she joined a troupe from Zeinav. She gained a stage name, Bliss, and cast aside her birth name. Eventually, she found herself most comfortable among the people of the Ash Lands. While she still travels when she feels restless, she maintains an abode Darkveil if she ever desire a place to rest her feet. And, if occasionally people go missing in the cities she visits, well, that's none of her business.
