Cryomancer: Level One | Frozen Form: Your body begins to form its bond with the sea domain, becoming one with the element of ice. Your skin takes on a pale hue and becomes incredibly cold to the touch. You give off a faint aura of chill that can be felt by anyone near you. While others feel the effects of the cold, you do not, and no longer suffer from natural cold, like wind or snow. Regardless of how cold it is outside, you always feel normal. Frost Storm: Upon casting an ice spell or damaging an enemy with ice damage, you cause a small aura of frost and cold mist to swirl around your body. This mist will last for two post and will continue to swirl around your person. The mist reaches out up to a couple of feet, hitting anyone within your melee range. If they are hit by this frost they will have their speed cut in half, causing them to move slower than normal and will take ice damage. If they exposed to the ice storm for both post, they freeze over, unable to move the entire bottom half of their body for the next post. Casting an ice spell during the duration of the storm will not extend its duration. |
Cryomancer: Level Two | Frozen Solid: Your skin becomes even colder to the touch, now damaging enemies if they touch you. Your hair also ices over, becoming solid ice. It will retain its shape, however will remain frozen in the shape it held, looking like icicles hanging off your body. If your body or hair touches an enemy it will deal ice damage and can be used to stab into enemies as it now has a solid form. Frost Blizzard: Your frost storm continues to rage, becoming much stronger. The cloud of mist gets thicker, now slightly obstructing your form from vision. The duration of the storm is also increased, now lasting three post instead of two. In addition to this, casting a new ice spell while the storm is active will extend its duration for an additionl post. If the target ends up with their bottom half from in the mist, it will remain frozen for as long as they feel the storm, preventing them from walking or moving their legs. |
Cryomancer: Level Three | Ice Resistance: Your body has been put through its trials and test, enduring itself to the Sea domain and the element of ice. You now take half damage from all sources of ice damage, reducing the effectiveness of ice damaging spells and abilities. King Cold: Your spells and ice damage have become so powerful and so fluid that they now ignore any resistance or immunity. Your spells and effects that deal ice damage are no longer prevented by effects that resist or are immune to ice damage, allowing you to deal damage regardless of your enemies defenses. |
Cryomancer: Level Four | One with the Ice: Your body has completely merged with the element of ice, turning you into a being of pure cold. Your entire body is extremely cold to the touch, dealing damage upon being touched. Anything you are wearing, including clothing and armor, begins to ice over as well, having a layer of frost and icicles on it. Anything you are wearing will now also deal ice damage if touched. You can also choose to become one solid form, freezing your entire body for a brief moment. When frozen over you ignore all damage from any source unless it is fire damage, which will instead end the form early. You will remain frozen for your entire next post, unable to move, deal damage or interact with objects, however you will be immune to in coming damage as well. Once you use this form you can not use it again for the next four post. Master of Frost: You may now work with staff to create your very own ice spell. You will work with staff to create a new spell from the Sea Domain that deals ice damage or involves ice in its effects. It will be named after you and you will receive the spell for free. After creation the spell will be added to the shop for others to purchase. |
Pyromancer Level One | Hot Body: The Pyromancer's body begins to become one with the earth domain and causing fire magic to flow through their entire being. You take on minor physical changes such as your skin becoming warm to the touch, keeping you warm in non magical cold weather. Your eyes also begin to glow, a small flame flickering in your pupils. You can never become cold by natural means, however magic can still effect you. Conflagration: Your spells that deal Fire damage now ignite the enemy, giving them a stack of Conflagration. They will remain ablaze for the next two post, keeping the stack of conflagration until the end of its duration or until its triggered. If they are dealt fire damage again from any source while effected by this ability the fire will deal double damage, igniting the stack and burning even hotter than normal. The damage that triggers the stack will not apply a new one. Scorching Touch: As your body continues to increase in temperature and heats up, your hands become weapons for you, with your very touch able to burn and scorch skin. They do not catch fire preventing you from igniting flammable objects, but your skin does burn, able to singe others as you touch them. You can increase or decrease this heat, allowing you to interact with others without harming them. Your hands also give off a small amount of light which can be used to navigate the dark. |
Pyromancer Level Two | Becoming the Inferno: Your body continues to bond with fire, your core becoming a furnace. Your physical features continue to morph, your hair igniting on fire and becoming a flowing mane of flames which can be turned on and off. You continue to radiate heat as your magical fire rises in power as well. All of your fire damage from spells and affects will now ignore immunity or resistance, preventing someone from resisting your fire damage. Fire Resistance: Your body has been put through its trials and test, enduring itself to the earth domain and the element of fire. You now take half damage from all sources of fire damage, reducing the effectiveness of fire damaging spells and abilities. This includes your own fire and fire from other spells or effects. Extended Conflagration: Your Conflagration ability is enhanced, extending its duration and effect. Your fire spells still apply a stack of conflagration when dealing damage to the enemy, however the stack now last three post instead of two and the fire damage that consumes the stack will now apply a new one, keeping the cycle going. The flames will continue to lick at the body, allowing you to keep an enemy ignited as long as you are able to deal the damage. |
Archmage Level One | Infinite Soul: You cease to age, no longer growing older or aging. You can not die due to old age and will continue to live on past your normal life span. Your physical appearance can age however you wish, remaining as young or as old as you wish to look. Your body will no longer decay and unless you are killed, you can live as long as you choose. Arcane Wellspring: Magic begins to flow through your entire body, becoming one with your very soul. You feel its presence grow within you as you begin to harness its raw power. Your spell limit increases by 5, allowing you access to more spells during battle. |
Archmage Level Two | Elemental Master: Spending your time manipulating magic and learning the arcane arts, you have learned how to harness all of the elements, despite not having any levels in that elements domain. While you still can not cast spells from a domain you do not own, you can access their elemental damage now. When ever you cast a spell that deal elemental damage, you can choose to alter that damage, changing its original damage type to another, such as turning a fire spell into water damage, or light damage into dark damage. Spell Suspension: Manipulating raw magic comes with its perks, allowing you control over the energies of the arcane. You are now able to suspend spells, halting them in time and space. When a spell is cast, by anyone, you can choose to freeze that spell, suspending it in the void. This spell will sit suspended until the end of the features duration, in which the spell will then be cast. A suspended spell will remain suspended for two post, after which it will be cast instantly, targeting its original target or moving along its original path. You can only have one spell suspended at a time and can only suspend two spells per topic. |
