Gender: Male
Age: 29
Race: Aasimar | Scourge
Nationality: Moonglade | Eclipse City
Appearance: A tall, well built, though thoroughly average man dressed in heavily tattered travelling robes of black and purple, barely concealing tarnished grey-black gauntlets and greaves underneath. Beyond a small scar curling down from the left corner of his lip down to his chin that never quite seems to heal and a slight pinkish-purple sheen to his otherwise dark navy blue eyes, Caelus looks every part the Human. The only adornment Caelus carries is a well made ebony mask carved to resemble that of a gleeful demon usually tied to the belt around his waist when not covering his face.
Personality: Generally of a positive and perhaps even excitable disposition, Caelus views his life as an opportunity to make the world a better place, and those in it live better, happier lives. More than happy to throw himself into harms way to see justice done or protect those that he deems need it, Caelus revels in situations where diplomacy can be found at the end of a sword. Though he might not admit it, swinging a stick on behalf of others is a fine shield to mask simple, base violence.
History: Caelus always had an affinity for the macabre and the things that go bump in the night. As a child he would relish ghost stories and the more gruesome cautionary tales his parents would tell in an effort to impart manners and traditional moral and cultural wisdom. He saw graveyards and dark forests as simply a stage to enact the role of the hero saving the day and suffered scrapes and scares aplenty. Blind luck being the only thing that kept real dangers prowling other locales as he travelled unburdened through the years.
Talent and potential grew and was honed in equal measure, though Caelus eschewed his more formal studies. Preferring the immediacy of action in effecting change in the world around him. He learned throwing the first punch was met with punishment but a blow in defence was grudgingly accepted, and better yet in protection of someone else was applauded. A simple matter then to maneuverer himself into situations to receive all the praise his hands could earn him.
A hero should not stay in his home town for long before treading into the wider world to find a terrible evil to defeat and a kingdom to rescue. Caelus left home when he turned 18 to seek out his great calling. However, the majority of what he learned these last eleven years is that good and evil are not so easily defined, and being a hero would take much more than self-appointment.
