Replacing the Displaced Merchants [closed]

Blue Raspberry is a bit nervous. Astrid saw everything that happened, she definitely knew they weren't human now. They really hoped she wouldn't say anything about it, but then she directly said she wanted to know more! This was a disaster! Maybe they should just leave while she's talking to the merchants. But, then she'd definitely tell the merchants about everything, wouldn't she? They should stay and make sure she doesn't tell them.
They were about to walk over to the group that was now talking with the girl about the jerk elf being dragged away by one of the beasts, but they looked down at one of the displacer beasts. It was on the ground behind a cart, out of sight of the merchants. Surely no one would notice if the ooze had a quick snack, right?
They ducked down behind the cart and removed their helmet again. It would be the fastest way to let some ooze out of their armor and start eating. The body of the beast was quickly consumed and the ooze retreated back into the suit, the helmet placed on top. The merchants were still talking to Astrid, as if nothing had happened.
Blue Raspberry popped back up from behind the cart and jogged over to the group.
"Yes, we'll go save that guy! I don't think any more of those beasts are around. I was just checking." they announced to the group before looking at Astrid. "We should go now. We don't want that guy to get eaten before we get there."
At that remark, the merchants looked at each other with concern. One looked a bit pleased at the thought of that snobby elf being eaten for a second before feigning concern.
