Blue Raspberry had finally made it to the third of the researchers, removing the slime away from their feet as the acid like substance was just beginning to eat away through the last layer of cloth. Plague listened as the man explained their purpose here, that they were researching and gathering information on the Elder Ooze. She was rather intrigued, but this did not make her like the men any more than she did. 

"Well I guess I am going to need to go see Lloyd. I would just take those notes from you and leave you all alone out here, but thanks to my new friend Blue here, you got lucky. "

Laughing at her joke that most likely came off as a threat to the others, Plague turned back to Blue Raspberry, watching them starting to work on the path back to freedom. The trip was much quicker, as only about half as much of slime remained behind them. While they moved back to safety the Knight spoke up again, asking the woman if she really did like Oozes.

"Well of course! If it isn't obvious I don't get along with too many people. I much rather prefer hanging out with animals and creatures. I grew up in a place where people like me where shunned, but these little slimy guys always hung around, letting me feed them scraps and keeping me company. "

She remembered a time in her life where she had lived on the streets, sleeping under crates and surviving off of trash left by others. Slimes were a common creature found in the sewers beneath Sol city, and she had spent a good amount of time living along them.

Now that the three researchers were free of the slime trail, they thanked the knight for saving them and went quickly on their way in the other direction. They needed to get back to Lloyd with all of their notes to make sure all of the information was shared safely. They told the two that the elder ooze was in the other direction they'd be headed. With a small bow to Blue Raspberry and a look of disdain from the boldest of the three toward Plague, they rushed off into the distance.

With the researchers gone, Blue Raspberry looked to Plague.

"I'm happy that you like oozes! Do you want to come with me to see the elder ooze? Lloyd asked me to help deal with them too, so I'm going to go there now that those guys are free. I also like oozes." they announced happily to the masked woman, their arms out to their sides as if offering a hug, but not moving forward for one.

They considered admitting that they were actually an ooze themself, but realized that might be a bit hasty. They still barely knew this person and they could have just been saying that to get on their good side, or the good side of the ooze researchers. Though, they didn't really seem to get along with those researchers at all, so they probably didn't say it for that. But still, they needed to be careful. People had seen through their disguise before, though none of them had been outright hostile afterward yet. They never knew if someone would be, though.
