She smiled and accepted Blue Raspberry's apology, no harm, no foul.
The square was a hive of activity, more so than the streets they had just come from. There was an overwhelming amount of shouting, bartering, and arguing in such a contained location that it was had to make out any single conversation without catching a few more. Vaera looked around, trying to get a better sense of her surroundings and mapping her course from the city gates, just in case she needed to make a quick exit; the latter proved more difficult than expected.
She turned to Sarne "Wow! this is quite a city! You certainly weren't lying when you said there was plenty to see here." She remarked the wide variety of vendor's and their wares, many of which she had never seen before living out on the road. Noticing the jeweler's wares she made her way over to take a look, noting the two tall, well-built guards standing at either side of the table, "a necessary precaution" she thought. She browsed the extravagant, gleaming, jewels and accessories each one more expensive than the last. The merchant approached, eager to make a sale: "You won't find anything more beautiful, or pristine in all of Charon than what we have here. Take a lo--" Vaera interrupted the seller before he continued his sale's pitch, hoping it would spare both of their time "Apologies, I have no interest in buying. I was simply taking a look". Disgruntled, at the waste of time, the vendor turned his attention to the next potential buyer.
Noticing Blue Raspberry had gone to speak with another vendor, out of earshot, she took this moment to express her uneasiness about the knight to Sarne. Standing next to Sarne, and facing in Blue Raspberry's direction she say "Normally, I do not speak ill about someone I just met but does the knight seem a little... odd to you? I can forgive the lapse in social convention, as this is a cultural melting pot and all, but... physically... something just doesn't add up." She looks straight at Sarne "When he put his hand on my head, it felt as if he..." She chortled, amused by what she was about to say "had no structure, as insane as it may sound." She continued "Coupled with the static, when quite firmly grounded. It just doesn't add up".
