“Why thank you, Lady Sarris. I never had dessert as a meal before, spoils the stomach or so my father says. To be honest, I’ve heard quite a bit of the Grey Citadel and the Sequoia Family that manages it. My grandfather used to say that they were a bunch of pansies that have grown soft but I doubt he is without bias. I shouldn’t believe about everything my family says after all. So, how is living in Capitol Landing? I’ve never ventured out of the Kingswood and I’m curious about life outside of King’s Valley.”

While Sarris and Edward had their conversation, Beist reached up to open the trap door slightly, checking if there were still any wolves or treants outside. The coast seemed to be clear from what he could see.

"I believe we're safe to continue this conversation as we leave. It would probably be best to do so sooner rather than later, yes? You might know better than I do what will come out in these woods at night." he quietly called down to the others, looking at Edward.

He felt it would be best to leave the Kingswood for both his and the others' safety. If what Edward said is true, none of them would be safe here. Edward's family knew about this bunker and might check it if they hadn't already.

Sarris looked at Beist and nodded.
“I agree unless Sir Edward knows of something we have to see,” she said.
