Sarne would not let this chance pass as the dragon's head slammed to the deck. The ship rocked Sarne stayed on his feet with little effort. Sarne dropped into his charging stance. Sarne had been studying the dragon for some time and saw a weakness just behind the head there the scales were not as thick and with the head positioned he could get a thrust of his sword into the dragon.
Watching Big Fella runs at the dragon to wrap his arms around the mouth and hold it in place. Nordic was not about to be outdone either. Nordic ran at the Dragon as well and grasped some rope on the way. He used the rope to wrap it a few times and help to hold it in place. Nordic saw Sarne getting ready to attack and pulled to help Sarne.
Sarne's sword started to crackle with celestial power as energy ran over the blade. [1] When Sarne charged and thrust his sword with all of his strength. The sword pierced the Dragon deeply. A burst of light crackling energy erupted from the sword with it inside the dragon. The dragon's neck burst into flame as embers rose from it. burning like the sun itself. The light passed through the dragon and blew out the other side.
The dragon's blood spilled onto the deck washing over the side of the ship as part of the head and neck burned with the intense light. Sarne pulled out his sword and more of the Dragon's blood started to pour out onto the deck. The blood was like a flood washing over anything near it.
Sarne stepped back looking over to Fish. "I think it is dead or I hope so," said Sarne with a tired look on his face. Sarne gave a grin. "Fish, whatever they are paying you. I would ask for double," commented Sarne looking at the ship.

"So that's why Cap'n hired ye!" Big Fella's rumbles out a laugh as he lets go of the dragon. The turtle starts to rip out some of the teeth, tossing one of the big fangs over to Sarne.
Fish makes a few clicks as they climb down the rigging. Other crew mates start to gather up some of the blood coming from the wound. Others work on collecting saliva or scales, anything that might serve an alchemical purpose.
"This you can salvage, take anything else you like." Sevar offers a small nod to Sarne, a subtle sign of respect, but more than the catfolk gave most others on the ship. Though he could stand to be less of a prick about being nice to people.
After supervising the salvage for a moment, Fish perches on Big Fella's shell again to go talk to Sarne. The turtlefolk serves as translator if needed once more.
"Thank you Sarne. Fish is aware of the capabilities of the crew, ship to ship combat we can handle just fine, but Fish felt more help was needed to take on the dragon. The ship would be at further risk of sinking." Fish offers out a small taloned hand for a handshake.
"There is a tavern below deck, it serves as a cash flow for the crew while docked. It will take us a day to get sailing again. Drinks will be compensated this time as thanks for your help."
"An' I'll be down there to get ye a supper once the crew 'ere is done cleanin' up. Hope ye like dragon meat." Big Fella grins wide and offers Sarne a fist bump.

Big Fella grins wide and offers Sarne a fist bump. Sarne returned the fist bump. "Great work it was an honor to fight with you." said Sarne to Big Fella. Sarne thought for a moment about the crew and the ship. Sarne was impressed by the crew and ship. Fish's reputation was everything everyone said. "Honestly never had dragon meat. it should be an experience. Evey thing with rum or Ale is going to taste good I would think." commented Sarne.
Walking down below the deck Sarne was impressed with the ornate wood and the carved art of the tavern below the deck. Fish knew how to live and his taste in ale and how this tavern was arranged was above reproach. al lot of care was put into this place even the quarterbacks that were given to Sarne were outstanding in every way it did beat a hammock not that Sarne would have turned that down. Sarne sat and drank with the others and talked about how things went or stories of old. Sarne thanked Fish again for allowing Sarne to come on board and help kill the dragon.
Up on deck, Nordic was hard at work helping the crew repair what they could of the ship. Saving what they could of the dragon. Nordic probably made some new mates on this trip and that meant more contacts that Nordic could contact for information. That is if the price was right as it always is. there was some Ale brought up to the deck where the crew celebrated the victory.
Sarne would ride back with them. When Sarne returned Sarne made his way back to the fighters guild. Sarne reported what had happened and took his reword.
