Sarne and Javal rounding up the last of the thugs at the warehouse started to question the leaders. Sarne had wondered how they had stayed out of sight for so long. With a little persuasion of Sarne's glowing hot blade and Javal, the leader sang like a canary telling them everything.

Sir Grand Wyman a lower noble house had been protecting them and using his house as a base. Somehow this did not surprise Sarne and probably not Javal as well. Sarne had wondered for some time if Sir Wyman was not a little if not fully shady now Sarne had his answer. Sarne knew when the word got out that the Thugs got captured they would make a run to get away.

Sarne looked at Javal "I say we pay a visit to Sir Wyman's manor with good timing we might catch them off guard." suggested Sarne. Nordic, Naesala, and Vamir looked at Javal and Sarne Nordic looked at the Thugs and then at Sarne. "I think the city guard can handle the thugs. I, Naesala, and Vamir can go ahead and scout out Sir Wyman's manor," the Dwarf suggested with a grin. Sarne lookeda around "Go, we will be there shortly. Do not make a move until we arrive Nordic," Sarne told Nordic with a stern look in Sarne's eyes.

Quest Name: Destroy Their Hideout
Chapter: Two
Description:
One of the group's hideouts has been discovered just outside a major settlement. Their forces are getting greater and before we know it they will have enough people to pull off the greatest Red Rogue heist ever. You are needed to find this hideout and destroy it. We don't care how you go about it, burning the building, destroying its property, or anything else you could come up with. There may even be guards watching over the place so look out for yourself.  Requirements:
- Requires exactly two people (you and one other, can be doing opposing quests)
- You must make at least 5 posts to complete the mission with each post being at least 200 words
- Once you complete this mission you gain access to chapter three. (which needs to be a separate topic)

Holding his blade strong and up to the leader’s head with no sense of kindness or warmth in his eyes he and Sarne interrogated the men.



“What do you know? Tell us now! Or if you don’t I cannot promise that I won’t cut you down here where you stand”.



The fellblood is deadly serious as well, he’s upset and angry that these men not only attacked them but were going to steal from people for no good reason besides greed. The red rogues made him feel conflicted in the hand they were giving to the poor and the people who needed help but on the other hand, they were stealing from innocent although snobbish people. After only a few looks of hesitation that were quickly snuffed out once Javal slightly moved his blade towards the man’s shoulder, they spoke and told the truth.



“Alright, alright I’ll tell just please don’t hurt me and my boys, we didn’t do anything it’s Wyman who’s responsible”, the leader then proceeds to tell them the rest of the truth with Javal listening intently pulling his blade back into his sheathe.



He met Sarne’s gaze and smirked, “Of course my friend it’s like you read my mind completely there. Time is of the essence. We must hurry at once. I agree with your plan and find no issues with it. I trust your men and trust your leadership, let’s bring these bastards to justice my friend”, the eager fellblood exclaimed pumping his fists into the air.

Sarne and the others did not spend any more time there at the dock and started on their way to Sir Wyman's manor. Sarne had no idea what to expect. Sarne just wanted to get to Sir Wyman before he could find out what just happened at the docks. It would take them some time to get threw Sol city and to the outskirts of the city where Sir Wyman's manor was. Sarnes planned to surprise Sir Wyman and get some information out of him.

When they arrive they can see 4 strong, round towers form a protective wall on two sides of the castle and are connected by high, solid walls made of dark grey stone. Ornate windows are scattered thinly across the walls in an asymmetric pattern, along with asymmetric crenelations for archers. 

A great gate with large wood doors was open with two guards standing next to the doors. A regular bridge and large crenelations guard the last stronghold along this rough shoreline and it's the only way in, at least to those unfamiliar with the castle and its surroundings. Water flows into various small arrogation creeks and provides the precious farm fields outside the castle.

Sarne looked over the Place nothing seem like it was on alert and looked calm. Sarne looked at Javal "What do you think we should just walk up and knock?" asked Sarne with a smile.

Javal quickly accompanied Sarne and his team to Wyman’s manor; he was ready and waiting to bring this fellow down. Nadia herself was anxious they’d already fought a lot tonight but again they were going to head straight into the wolves' den. She was confident in their abilities but she couldn’t help but wonder if they should’ve made a plan or taken some more time to figure out what to do. She kept these thoughts to herself, she trusted her liege’s decision wholeheartedly and would follow him to battle nonetheless. Soon after some traveling the group arrived and Javal was excited as he glanced over the sight of their battle. It looked fairly nice although it was very quiet with only two guards holding the line at the gate.



Javal simply smiled, “Yes, my friend knocking on their door would be a most excellent decision. We must let them know that we are here and waiting to destroy them and their dastardly activities. That and letting people know when you’re at their base is polite”.



The fellblood then pushes past the group and walks towards the guards, “Hello there gentlemen may you call out your forces, me and my friends here came to defeat you”, the guards immediately raise their weapons and call out, “INTRUDERS”, as the sound of bells and movement could be heard ahead of them.

Sarne reaches out with a hand like he is going to stop him as Javal walks away "That's not what... O well" Sarne says as Javal announces to the guard Sarne and Javal are there. Sarne starts to follow Javal walking up beside him. "That is not what I had planned Javal," Sarne said with a chuckle. Sarne looked back at Nordic. "You and the others go around back and look for anyone who tries to escape and stop them." Ordered Sarne in his typical commanding tone.

Some guards run out of the gate with shields and spears. Sarne shakes his head "How typical." Sarne smiles "You might want to stay slightly in front of me or you could go blind." said Sarne with a wicked smile as they started walking toward the gate. Sarne and Javal had enough reputation to be known and the guard's eyes widened when they saw them. "It's Ser Sarne Sequoia, Captain of the Shadow Wolves, and Master Javal Zarrias the Amazing Swordsmen." One of them yelled.

There was a lot of yelling and running but not away more like finalizing their positions. There was a big bellowing of laughter. A tall 7' Lizard man walked out in armor from head to toe carrying a halberd. The man himself seemed confident. He was called Red Claw a man not to be underestimated. Exalted in Pullarms and armor. and highly skilled they say he has mastered most of the Pullarm skills. He would not go down easily if at all thought Sarne.

A sigh escapes Nadia’s mouth as she sees her liege not only just walk in front of the enemy’s line of sight but announce their presence to them. It was certainly frustrating and perplexing but she had grown to accept her master was simply working on a different level of strategy and it was best just to accept it and make the best of his unpredictably. She follows Nordic and the rest of Sarne’s men towards the back, considering her master and Sarne to be more than enough to hold the front’s attention.



Javal simply chuckles, “Apologies friend Sarne but it would be rude to not let our enemies know we were coming. Now let us show these fools that crime does not pay in riches but in pain from the hands of justice”.



He immediately takes out his sword and gets to work as the action begins and guards are already changing at the two. He spotted Red Claw and smirked it appeared that there was someone here who was going to make this battle worth it in terms of enjoyment. But first, they needed to take out the riff-raff so at least the battlefield wasn’t cluttered.



He opens his mouth and sends out a wave of frost breath (1) towards the guards causing them to stumble as the cold touches their very hearts. He then rushes forth and takes a long swing (2) of his blade, slashing three guards in a single movement before spinning around and striking three more guards as they try to catch him off guard.

A tall 7' Lizardman Red Claw took a step out and slammed his halberd into the ground and the ice disappeared around him. Red Claw chuckled as he shook off the cold. "Javal Zarrias..., Let us... s...ay has... us.... a Littls... Fights... leaders... to leaders.... " challenged Red Claw his tone low and raspy. He stepped out the Lizardman raised his halberd high in the air and roared "Challenge!" The men in the walls and nearby cheer on Red Claw by chanting his name.

Red Claw stops some distance away and starts to spin his halberd in a brilliant and intimidating way. it was a site to Red Claw's muscles bulge and there was a loud hiss from Red Claw.

Sarne gave a sarcastic smile. Sarne was wondering if Javal would go with this or not. "Hay Javal wake me when you are done with this tadpole," Sarne said with a very sarcastic tone. bending down to sit with his legs crossed.

Red Claw roared at the insult. "Afters... I kill Javal Zarrias... I will Kills..... you!"

[1] Sarne chuckled "Good luck you will need it Red Claw." replied Sarne. "Hay Javal when you are done I want to make him a pair of boots," said Sarne aid Sarne trying to irate Red Claw.

[1] Inspiring Presence: An aura of energy begins to radiate from your person, filling your allies with hope and strength. You begin to inspire those around you to continue fighting, filling them with the will to continue going. Anyone who you consider to be an ally standing in your immediate area will feel their strength grow. For the next three posts any ally affected by this spell, including you, will deal double damage with their physical attacks. (does not affect spells)

Javal looked straight at Red Claw, his smile turning into a wide excited grin as he heard the man’s taunting claim, “I’d be more than happy to accept your challenge vile fiend”.



He then takes off his red coat and places it next to a tree and then stretches preparing for the battle. Javal points his blade toward the lizardman and says, “Alright buddy I’m here to take all of you fellows down for good. Show me all you've got and make this fight worthwhile for me, I expect a good challenge from a man so confident”.



He then looks over to Sarne, “I will my friend this fellow does not seem very imposing at the moment, I ask you to make sure that none of his minions try to interfere with our fight friend”.



The fellblood touches the bottom of his sandals coating them with a thin layer of ice (1) before sprinting forth his speed drastically increases. He then pulls his left hand back and swings his katana diagonally at the villain before twisting his grip and managing to land another slash (2). His blade glows a bright blue and ethereal white he feels empowered by Sarne’s words of encouragement and is determined not to let his friend down.

[1]The Redclaw took a step back from the strikes landed by Javal. both cut in deep but seem to not cut as planned. between his armor and his hide, it lessens the strikes. Blood did trickle from the wounds given by Javal. As Red Claw moved to give his reply back Javal.
Red claw grunts under the force then smiles back At Javal.

With his Halberd's high [2] Red Claw fainted some to allow a crushing blow to Javal's midsection with the bottom of the Halberd. Drops of Blood ran from where the Halberd struck. Java could feel his breath leave him after the strike with the force Javal stepped back out of breath. Javals armor save him from getting broken ribs.

The men on the castle wall and by the gate Cheer for Red Claw yelling and hooping as he delivers his blow

Sarne winced at the blow to Javal but stayed where he was watching the other men carefully. Sarne was impressed by the both of them and was happy he would not have to take on the both of them at the same time. Wanting to heal Javal, Sarne curced him self for Chivalry he would not interfere unless provoked by some out side force.

This move emphasizes speed and takes advantage of polearms and longer weapons. The user feints with an overhead strike, causing the target’s guard to rise. The user then shifts to strike the target’s leg or midsection with the back end of the haft. Depending on the area targeted, the user can momentarily stun the target by knocking the wind out of them or slow them down by striking the legs.

[2] Skilled fighters know how to use the weight of their weapon to deliver devastating wounds. If a martial weapon (Sword, Axe, Hammer, Staff) would deal damage to its target, the wound will become severe, bleeding out, and unable to be healed by Novice or Master level healing effects. This ability can only be used once per topic and must be applied to an attack as it is being used.

Javal looked in front of him and immediately noticed that his attacks didn’t seem to damage the man as much as he intended to. The lizardman was armored and those scales of his looked incredibly durable so he was going to have to work harder to get through this. He matched Red Claw’s grin with one of his own, this was going to be a lot of fun he already knew it. Before the young fellblood could dodge or jump back he felt the air get knocked out of him and he staggered back almost falling to the floor because of the force of the attack. He coughs up blood and glances down noticing that the the halberd had left a very nasty image his padding and cuirass were completely eaten through it appeared that the bottom of the halberd pierced through his armor and if it wasn’t for it he’d be in far worse shape than he was now. It was as if he'd been struck by some sort of painful needle through his abdomen and that was just the bottom of the fierce warrior’s polearm.



Javal coughs once more, spitting out some blood before laughing, joining the rest of the men around, “Is that all you can do Red Claw? I was expecting something more, let me show you how to truly deal a blow”.



He then opened his mouth and sent out a quick beam of sharpened water (1) straight at the man’s abdomen hoping to show him what a real critical blow meant. Not content with just doing that he stepped forward and swiped his katana (2) across the man’s chest with the ferocity and power he had shown earlier. He, like before, twisted his grip on the blade’s hilt and quickly sent out another slash, this time on the opposite side of the fellow’s chest.

The quick beam of sharpened water hit Red Claw cutting his Adamen. It cut through his armor and thick hide. blood started to stream from the wound Red Claw winced from the attack with a grunt. The large lizardman blocked one of the sword attacks with the halberd. The other hit destroyed what was left of his armor Red Claw stepped back to keep from being knocked down.

Red Claw Roars in rage [1] he charges with increased speed and strength. With his mussels flexed and screaming battle cries. [2] Red Claw swings his Halberd wildly and with great power as he tries to cut off Javal's arms with the Halberd. Red Claw moves in to destroy Javal in any way he can. Javal could see that Red Claw left his head open. If Javal could land the right sword strikes Javal could take Red Claw's head off.

The men on the wall cheer louder as they hear Red Claw's battle cries. They start to chant his name driving Red Claw into a frenzy of attacks with his Halberd. It felt like they could feel the sending coming but for who?

Sarne Knowing the ending was near stood to his feet dusting off his pants watching still as the fight was still going on. Sarne saw Red Claw miss step and swing too low. Right then Sarne knew it was over. Sure Javal could still get hit. But Red Claw was going to lose a lot more if Javal saw the opening.

A technique that applies massive amounts of strength and energy to the attack. This skill allows your next attack to cleave off any unarmored or unprotected limb, such as an arm or leg. (will just knock out if struck in the head) If the attack is blocked or guarded with armor of any kind, this attack will consume all of the hit preventions that armor or defensive source has, and can not obtain any new ones for the rest of the topic. Can only be used once per topic.

The fellblood stepped back to observe his work; it seemed that the water cutter managed to pierce right through him and throw him off greatly. Even if the strong bastard managed to parry his first blow the second one did manage to tear apart his armor which was still a good move.



He chuckled, “Is that all that you have to show me Red Claw? I was expecting a little more from you”.



He then raises his guard as he sees the man enter an incredible rage most likely due to the embarrassment and humiliation he was feeling from being shown up in front of all of his men. As Red Claw charges forward he prepares himself to face his aggressive yet wild strikes. He then throws his sword into the air as hard as he can looking straight at the lizard fellow and then snaps his faintly blue glowing fingers. He then immediately melts (1) into a puddle of water completely avoiding the strikes from the man. His liquid state is then changed into a serpent made out of water as he continues to dodge and simply go right through the man’s attacks. After a moment of this, he decides he’s had enough, his form changes right back to his regular fellblood state catching his blade in his right hand as he notices that the man is tired it was only a matter of time before he slipped up. And he did as he missed his step and swung too low, this was his moment to strike back as he swung his sword towards the man’s arm as it was completely opened. He sliced through it (2), cleaving it right off from the man’s body causing Red Claw to immediately step back languishing in his pain.



Javal simply smiles widely and points his sword at the man confident, “It seems that I am the victor of this challenge now does anyone else here want to have a go at me? I’m waiting”.

Sarne saw Redclaw's arm fall to the ground with a thud as blood spilled onto the ground running and pooling. Red claw stepped back falling to his knees in his pain. Grabbing the stub of his other arm to stop the blood flow. Falling onto his back Redclaw looked up into the sky "You beat me far, Javal your reputation is what they say it is." said Redclaw with a chuckle. "Throw down your weapons!" ordered Redclsw with a shout.

By the time the men at the gate and on the ground surrendered Nordic, Naesala, Vamir and the others made it inside the walls and holding Sir Wyman. Nordic had heard RedClaw and got an evil grin putting his fighting knife close to Sir Wyman's thout. "See, Sir Wyman. My Lord and captain is on his way now I would think of a good plea for your life," said Nordic with an ominous tone.

Meanwhile outside Sarne and Javal had rounded everyone up with little trouble the city guard showed up and started to take people away. Sir Wyman was dealt with and Taken in by Sarne and Javal and turned over to the King's court. With that, the Red Rouge hideout was crushed and everything returned to their owners.

Now the two were off to the next task at hand with information from Sir Wyman. On the longest night in Charon. People all across Charon are going to be dressing up as the Red Rogue and attempting to deliver stolen goods to poor families. With this report, Sarne and Javal planned their next move.
