You do not need any skills to purchase or use items from this shop.
Fall becomes winter as the air turns cold, snow and ice slowly moving from the north to coat the rest of Charon in a beautiful blanket. A small cottage built into a massive tree in Frostgale turns its lights on, a large white snow owl places a sign in the window and dust off their goods. Orville, an Avenkin, owns one of the most mystical and fun shops in Charon which only opens during the cold winter months.
Spells
North Star (Sea Domain: Enhancement | Short | 1 Action) | Price |
After casting this spell, a bright orb of light will rise hundreds of feet up into the air. This orb will give off a faint, pale glow of light for the next three posts and illuminate the surrounding area. This orb will always point directly to the north, and moves with you as you travel. After three posts, this light will fade and it cannot be used again for two posts. | 20 Solars |
Camp Fire (Earth Domain: Enhancement | Short | 1 Action) | Price |
You choose a empty location that you can see and summon an average sized campfire within the area. For the next 10 post this campfire will give off magical heat and warmth, and can not be extinguished outside of canceling the spell. While it is able to keep anyone warm during any kind of weather, this campfire deals little to no damage, making it perfect for falling asleep next to in cold weather and bitter chill. | 25 Solars |
Caroler's Confusion (General Arcana: Curse | Short | 1 Action) | Price |
A song that can be sung or played through an instrument, but acts just like a normal spell. While being sung or played, a cacophony of voices will echo out from the singer as its origin, filling the area with multiple loud voices. These voices will continuously sing holiday songs from various villages around Charon. At first the music may seem nice, but you will start to lose focus and become confused and annoyed after only seconds of hearing the caroler's cacophony. This spell lasts for three post and will cancel out any other songs being played. | 25 Solars |
Naughty or Nice (Light Domain: Enhancement | Long | 1 Action) | Price |
When speaking with a person, you can cast this spell to get a sense of their intentions. It does not tell you whether the target is telling the truth or lying, but it does give you a general sense if that person means you good or ill will. Additionally, if there is an alignment attached to this creature, you can immediately sense it - good creates the smell of peppermint, while evil creates the smell of burning coal. This spell works on any creature intelligent enough to hold a conversation. | 25 Solars |
Cold Fist (Sea Domain: Curse | Short | 1 Action) | Price |
This spell causes a thick coating of solid ice to form on the user's hands and forearms, giving them gauntlets of ice around their fists. Any melee attack made with these fists will deal ice damage and cause a small chunk of the ice to break off. After striking three times with this spell active, the ice around your hands will fully fall off. The shards that fall off during your strikes will take the form of extremely sharp spears which can be picked up and used as weapons for the rest of the topic. | 25 Solars |

You can touch yourself or an ally, causing the target’s body to become temporarily compact and malleable. This spell allows you to squeeze through small and tight spaces you normally would not be able to crawl through, such as chimneys, cracks in walls and windows, or small tunnels. The caster of this spell summons a freezing cold gust of wind that will instantly blow through the immediate area. A simple spell that is used on a solid surface such as a floor or table. When cast, this spell will fill the surface up with all kinds of food— from cooked meats, to fruits, and even to desserts. This spread of food will last for 12 hours and is enough to fully feed three people, allowing them to go another 24 hours without needing to eat. By channeling magic into the environment, you cause a thick cloud of fog to form over a 100 foot area. This fog will last for 3 post and is extremely hard to see through, making it difficult to navigate, traverse, or fight within. You spend a few moments welling up magical power in your fingertips before releasing a thirty foot long, narrow beam of freezing energy that will last until it is canceled. The longer the beam strikes an opponent, the more damage it deals; and it is even capable of inflicting frostbite. By touching your target, you place a curse on them which forces them to be kind and gentle. This curse will last for two post and can not be removed. While cursed, if the target casts an offensive spell (one meant to deal damage or negatively effect someone) the curse will end and they will take a large amount of mental damage. By concentrating your mana within your fingertips, you summon a ball of snow into your hands. This snowball is formed with the moisture lingering in the air, and is made of fine, packed ice particles. You can throw this snowball as a distraction, or otherwise use it to be a general annoyance. This snowball does not melt when exposed to heat, but if placed directly into fire, or hit by a fire spell, this snowball will melt back into the water particles that it was pulled from, and evaporate back into the atmosphere. | 10 Solars |

Using yourself or an ally as a point of origin, you can cast this spell to create a snow fort around them or yourself; in cold locations, this spell will use snow— however, in warmer locations, this spell will freeze over the moisture in the air in order to accomplish its arcane purpose. This spell creates a completed circular wall up to four feet high, seemingly crafted of solid bricks of ice and snow. The Snow Fort can take the impact of three magical, ranged, or physical attacks before it crumbles. This spell can be negated by fire spells of the Earth Domain. | 25 Solars |

A wooden toy made to look like a battle hammer. It is light and easy to wield, allowing someone to swing this hammer around wildly. A unique mask crafted from animal bone and hide which is often worn by hunters or tribesmen in the cold north. This mask comes fitted with warm fur and narrow eye slits which protect the eyes from snow, dirt, and dust. A hearth made from brick and wrought-iron, ripped from a Frostgale fireplace and attached to a long pole. It can be utilized as an extremely heavy hammer and, when not in combat, a fireplace for warmth. Due to its sheer weight, it acts as if it has the heavy enchantment, and is incredibly slow, but it packs a punch. When this is used as a weapon while a fire is lit in the hearth, you can choose to dump smoldering coals and fire on your target, adding fire damage to your hit. A unique metal attachment that can be fitted to any kind of shoe or boot. Two thin metal blades are built into the shoe and are able to be popped out or popped back in by clicking the sides of the shoes together. When summoned, these thin blades will be coated in a very thin veil of ice, allowing the user to skate across solid surfaces such as earth and stone. The Rime Mantle is a relic of ages past used by the first people of the Pale City long before the Dark elves called it home. These stark white and almost translucent cloaks conceal the wearer perfectly in any snowy environment and can be hardened at will with a small input of the wearers mana. A set of five throwing stars that are made out of cold steel; these shuriken are white and made to look like snowflakes. The Snowflake Shuriken are very good at blending into snowy or icy environments, making them hard to see. While one of these throwing stars are air borne, the user can activate the magic within, causing three illusionary images of the weapon to appear midair next to the real one, hiding it, and tricking enemies into thinking there are more. | 25 Solars |

A polearm with a curved head that resembles a cane in appearance. This weapon has the unique ability to change its size according to the will of its wielder. It can shrink down to six inches in length to be easily carried, but can also extend to be up to twelve feet long. A pair of metal pauldrons that act just like the armor from the armor shop. These pauldrons are coated in a thin layer of ice, with icicles dripping off of them. Once per topic the wearer can summon the magic within, and cause ice to coat their entire being. For their next post they will be completely immobile, unable to take actions or do anything. A large jacket, cloak, or cape made out of a heavy blanket and designed to be worn backwards; as such, it has arm holes on the front and allows the blanket to fully wrap around your body while keeping your hands free. While average looking at first, the Snuggle can be commanded; and its wearer can cause the cloth to fly from their body and assault their enemies, attempting to bind them in the Snuggle. A six-foot pine tree that has been uprooted and crafted into a weapon. It is used much like a two handed hammer; this tree can be swung around with both hands and deals heavy amounts of blunt damage. A small and very fluffy cat; the Manul Tuftbird is a winged feline with plenty of soft feather and fur rounding it out, and keeping it warm in the cold of the Frost Gale. The Manul Tuftbird can defend itself with its sharp teeth and claws, and makes for an extremely cuddly companion. A six-foot long and solid steel chain; it is lightly coated in ice and gives off a faintly cold sensation. This chain is animated and will slowly float around the owner with a mind of its own. With their carapace resembling ice, the Glacier Flea can be considered see-through, nearly invisible, in the right light; as a result, the Glacier Flea can remain completely still, using its body to camoflauge itself for up to two posts or until it moves. The Glacier Flea has long, powerful back legs in which to propel itself up Frost Gale's many cliffs and its tarsal claws gives it a good grip on slippery ice. Tattooed markings resembling stripes on the sides of the face that resemble whiskers. This tattoo is commonly utilized by Frostgale shamans and travelers to represent their connection with nature. Twice per topic, you can activate this tattoo to glow, allowing you to turn into a white-furred fox. This form lets you act as a fox through actions such as burrowing in holes, blending into white and snowy environments, and climbing trees. A small, decorative, soft blue cloth bag with glinting silver details that appear like snowfall. It is roughly the size of a coin purse and easily fits in an adventurer's pocket. From the outside, the bag looks flat and empty, but upon pulling the silver, tinsel-like strings and reaching into the bag, the following things may be pulled based on a random dice roll. You may pull from the bag twice per thread. When using this bag, you must roll a dice (can be found on the little tool bar) The bag takes effect the next post, using what you rolled.
