He's amused at how she tempers her curiosity. If she asked, Zarius certainly would let her in on what was in the package. It wasn't as big of a secret as it seemed, really this was just an excuse to spend some time with Iryla to see how she was doing since she had become more a part of his life than he would have ever expected. And again, an easy way to keep her out of his room while he can't keep an eye on it himself.
Traveling was good for the young thief as well. Seeing other lands and interacting with people who were very different from those that call the Ash Lands home would help broaden her mind and aid her in reading different people. Life skills, and all that.
To him, it seemed like Iryla had matured quite a bit in the short time he has known her. Her senses were sharper and her decisions showed more thought than before. All good things. Cyran would likely be happy to hear that the mission went well and Iryla was a welcome companion during the trip.
After a little bit of thought, he looks at Iryla with a smile.
"I will let you in on a little secret. I am not a fan of boats either."
