Sarne dropped off the cloud landing near the podium in the shadows. He moved the opposite way Shaa did. Sarne thought Shaa was being a bit reckless and somewhat of a show-off. This gave Sarne the time he needed to grab his eggs. He moved swiftly lucky the cliff cast a shadow of its own giving Sarne almost full movement around the eggs. The Akhult guard was distracted with Shaa and did not see Sarne coming [1] Sarne moved right through the Akhult guard three instantaneous strikes as Sarne passed the Akhult guard. One arm hung there barely attached and the other hand was holding its throat as blood spilled from the strikes it fell to its knees and then on its face pouring blood onto the sand. Sarne just kept moving grabbing the first egg and then the second egg. Still running Sarne tucked one of the large eggs into his cloak with his other hand Sarne held out a small glass ball. [2]He ran past the egg and started to count then got to the next egg and was still counting in his mind. [3]Sarne continued turning moving back towards the podium and the cloud. When he made it to the podium two explosions destroyed the eggs and sent some of the rocks flying. Smoke started to fill the area as the third bomb went off sending even more smoke out making it hard to see. he hoped it could cover Shaa on his way back to the cloud.

Shaa can feel the blast from the explosions behind him. He takes the opportunity to turn. He sees his pursuers have turned as well to watch as the confusion unfolds. This was getting bad. He had to make a move quick before someone figured out what was happening. He turns and starts to rush towards the platform and the safety of the cloud. He almost makes it when one of the larger Akhult jumps in front of his path, cutting him off.
Stop right there Minotaur, you aren’t going anywhere. He shouldn’t have been surprised that the creature could talk considering it was actually a werebeast or even a skin walker. If it was willing to talk, maybe they could be reasoned with. We are going to chew your faces off. Or maybe not. Yeah whatever beaky. You come anywhere near me and we start hard poaching some eggs. You don’t actually think you are getting out of here alive do you? That exactly what I think. And, on top of that, now that we know where you are, there are going to be some changes. No more raids on the camp. No more attacking the boats. Everyone is just gonna stay nice and friendly. That’s an idea. Or. We just kill all of you and store your parts to get us through the winter.
Yup, definitely not going to be reasoned with. Shaa holds out both of the eggs with his hands. I am literally holding your kids lives in my hands. We can make more kids. Sometimes we eat them when food gets scarce. Not a problem currently. Oh you guys suck. With that, the Akhlut charges at Shaa with its beak wide open. Shaa ditches the eggs and tries to get low under the charge. As the beast snaps at him, the big Minotaur side steps and punches him hard in the side of the face. The Akhlut wheels back around, swiping at him with a massive claw. The claw manages to catch him a bit scraping across his arm, opening a couple gashes. The Akhlut swipes again but this time Shaa manages to grab its arm and flip him over over his shoulder onto the ground with a heavy thud.

Sarne hears the conversation with the larger Akhult and Shaa. Sarne looked up "Why me, reached beasts eat their own." he mumbled to himself. Something stirred in Sarne a rage. Sarne was done with this and the Akhult. Sarne gritted his teeth thinking what he was going to do more likely how Sarne was going to kill them. he would not hold back any option at this point. [1] Sarne I wanted to try this He thought. Sarne pulls out a small piece of chocolate with a fluffy white filling. and eats it he can feel the currents of the wind swirling around him as more clouds form overhead turning violently. Sarne wanted a distraction and he was going to make one hell of one. The tornado then begins to rampage through the beach picking up loose things and sand and throwing it everywhere. Sarne for the next couple of minutes had his distraken as the tornado started tearing up vegetation and destroying weak structures. The debris in the air started to hit the Akhults with some force. Cutting them and bashing them making them stubble the only ones Sarne did not let the tornado get to was Shaa and the large Akhult. Sarne waited for a moment before he would come out of hiding. [2]Sarne had to help Shaa He wondered if Shaa needed help maybe a little help a smile came across his lips. with a few words, Shaa started to glow with the blessings of light. Now let us see what the Akhults do with that.
[1] Storm Chocolate (Call Tornado) [2]Divinities Blessing on Shaa You target yourself or an ally, coating them in a shield of divine protection. Until your next post, they will ignore all damage received from any source, absorbing the damage as energy. They can then release that energy from their body in a burst, healing all allies in a 20-foot range and dealing light damage to all enemies in that same range. This spell can only be used once per topic.

Shaa focused in on his opponent as he can see the tornado start to tear its way across the field. He can tell instantly that the tornado is magical in nature and considering its path, was probably coming from Sarne. Good man. It was nice having someone he could rely on when things got hairy. And by all accounts, it couldn’t get much hairier than this. To his surprise, his body starts to glow and radiate a shimmering light. Another bonus from his friend? He would not waste it.
The large Akhult was starting to circle him now. That swipe he made wasn’t bad but it was enough for Shaa to start his plan. You know, for things capable of speech, you aren’t that smart. Smarter than you bull man. Oh really? You have been so focused on me that you haven’t even noticed your hand yet. The Akhult looked down at the claw that he had used to swipe at Shaa earlier. It was now green and starting to smell foul. Surprise. What in the depths have you done to me? The monster enquired. Technically you did it to yourself. This is why you don’t play with your food. You have fun with that.
With that, Shaa swishes his tail and vanishes from sight. The Akhult looks around only to find that Shaa has reappeared on top of the cloud and out of range from their attacks. From below its feet, the ground starts to shake and break apart, swirling and pulling it underground. The beast looks around only to find that several of its pod are suffering from the same problem. They are all now sinking beneath the ground and being pulled towards the center of the swirling. What is this you beast? What have you done? It’s an exalted level earth spell of my own design called the Sand Lion. I don’t use it that often because it’s so destructive but I think you all have earned it. Annnnnd just to make sure we end this here.
Shaa makes signs with his hands and a large firey obelisk emerges from the ground. With a twist of his hand, the blazing explodes into a cloud of sulfuric ash, chocking and poisoning the Akhult as they try to escape the vortex swirling beneath their feet. As a final move, he ignites the aura surrounding him dealing light damage to their enemies.

Sarne smiled at Shaa's return to the cloud and did not waste any time either getting on the cloud. Sarne with a smile decided he was going to do one last thing to the Akhult. Sarne raised his sword into the air for all to see. Shooting a beam of bright light into the sky. Making sure they were looking at Sarne as they were trying to doge the tornado that was slowly fading.
Sarne let out a bright intense light from his body. It was the flash-like looking at the sun. The Akhults screamed in pain blinded by the flash of light. now stumbling over and falling to the ground. Sarne knew it would be a few minutes before the Akhults could see again. They would remember this day. Sarne was certain Shaa and he would be the enemies of this tribe of Akhults forever.
[2] Sarne placed his hand on Shaa's back "I think we should make like a tree and leave," said Sarne with a joking tone. Light poured from Shaa's wounds as they heald. Sarne watched down below as the Akhults fell or got bitten by the sandworm. sarne sat back on the cloud and looked at Shaa with a tiered expression. "I need a drink," stated Sarne with a grin. "And you still owe me a seafood dinner!" remarked Sarne with a sarcastic grin.

Well between the poison gas, your tornado I’m assuming, the light damage and my giant worm, I think they are pretty much done. Anyone who survives this is going to think twice about attacking. Lets bail. With that, Shaa directs his cloud to take them back up higher and to the camp.
The ride itself is smooth and without any trouble. Sure enough, as they arrive at the site, work is well under way to shore up the camps defenses. The big Minotaur directs the cloud back to a group of men who are working on cutting up some logs as Shaa recognizes the town rep among them.
Hey guys, good news and bad news. Good news is that we felt a heavy enough blow to those things that I don’t think they will be coming back. Bad news is all this has probably been for nothing but I guess that’s good news too. I don’t know. Maybe you could consider that medium news. Really? What in the world did you do to those things? I won’t bore you with the details but, suffice it to say, they got the message. The men looked at each other and then got back to work cutting up logs. What? You don’t believe us? The half elf shakes his head. No, it’s not that. It’s just we already put a bunch of work shoring up the camp. It would be a waste to not finish it. Besides, who knows what else might show up. It’s just a good idea. Yeah, you have a point. But, as far as the guild is concerned, the commission is complete. We aren’t hanging out around here for what if. I got a pile of paperwork back home. Oh, sure, of course, here. He hands Shaa a large sack of coins. There’s a bit extra in there for you, I know this was dangerous.
Shaa hefts the bag in his large hand as it makes a pleasing jingle. Appreciate it. We will check in periodically just in case something gets any ideas. He looks at Sarne. Come on man, let’s head on over to the mess tent. I owe a clam chowder and some ale. Maybe if we are lucky, they’ll have some biscuits as well.
End
