When was the last time Ambika travelled with a companion for an extended period of time who was a genuine stranger just some time ago? A convenient ride to Dragon's Cradle she could certainly appreciate, and no longer playing the role as an executioner meant that tying up loose ends was no longer on her list of to-dos when venturing. Keeping it that way was definitely a priority in her eternally-scarred mind.
Word was that a group of adventurers was on a paid incursion into one of the many, many depths of Dragon's Cradle, and they have not reported back in literal days, and so their employer is working to establish a search-and-rescue party to recover them (hopefully alive and not dead). Any opportunity to earn more Solars was a welcome ticket by Ambika's books, and given how unpredictable her son was on the regular, she would not put it past him to be living in underground tunnels if he deemed that necessary for whatever cause he had.

So it was that the two would venture into one of the long, winding tunnels the group of adventurers was said to have taken. The shadowy darkness would not impede Ambika's sight[1][2], but she did not know if the same could be said of Gafelker, so she opted to take the lead and keep an eye out for any unstable footing or possible hints to their missing entourage's whereabouts.
[1]One with the Shadows
You are always aware of any form of shadow or body of darkness in the immediate area, able to passively sense where these shadows are and what is creating the shadow. You gain the following dominion over shadows:
- While inside of a shadow created by you or another object, you can see perfectly, and your vision not hindered by the darkness.

You can manipulate shadows that you are a part of or are touching with the umbral magic of the Shadow Dancers. When you are a part of a shadow, cross over one, or manipulate a shadow as part of another ability from this class, you gain one Umbral Mote. You can only have a maximum of four Umbral Motes at a time and can only gain a maximum of two per post.

Description: A group traveling deep beneath Dragons Cradle has gone missing, raising concern about their safety. It's been days since they reported in and are believed to be in danger. You have been asked to follow in their foot steps and find their location. After successfully locating the missing group of merchants, miners, or random travelers, you discover that they are trapped and being preyed upon by a group of Flederwulf. Fight off the subterranean creatures and rescue the trapped travelers.
