News of more Fae sightings were anything but kind to the old heart. One portal with her son in it was enough to drive her near the edge, only pulled away by whatever plans he had in mind. Why did Kishan have to be such a trickster? Ambika's stealthy habits and Florentio's tendencies of mischief certainly made for an unholy combination that plain excelled at causing them both grief. To be fair, it was not much better for Semaini either; only Cordelia escaped his antics by virtue of her unfortunate condition, not that it meant she was precluded from the indescribable experience that was her brother's extremes by any means.
The nearing of a Stargazers Village would force Ambika out from her sordid memories and suck her back into the dreary reality at hand. Word has it a Fae monstrosity was near this area, and the Crown has put out requests for them to be disposed of expediently. She was uncertain if she was capable enough of dealing with it, in all honesty, especially given how dangerous the Fae could be with her first-hand experience of the Morphleon. However, her long-time instincts told her it was absolutely necessary for her to prevail over at least one of these abominations. Kishan would be worse. Much worse. She could never piece together the source of that brimming conviction, but it felt true enough and she was not one to discount her instincts, so she steeled herself in preparation for what was to come.

That said, it never hurts to have some assistance, so Ambika opted to make her way to the local tavern to see if there were other adventurers with similar ideas, even if their motivations wildly differed from hers.

Description: A powerful, malicious Fae has moved into the area around a major city, village, or social hub and has been tormenting locals. Reports of kidnappings, assaults, and even murders have been reported by those who live in the area - they claim that the creature is getting braver and braver, inching closer to civilization. These creatures are powerful, dangerous, and are popping up outside of most populated areas.
What makes these creatures truly terrifying is their ability to shapeshift, taking on forms of some of Charon's most feared beings. The Fae’s use of these creatures abilities and ability to strike fear in those who see it has made it difficult to deter. Locals are getting worried and are asking the Crown for help in quelling them. Adventurers are being asked to locate the Fae and dispose of it quickly.
Special Requirements:
The Fae monstrosity has the ability to instantly shift into a new form, gaining the abilities and features of the mimicked creature. It can, at will, assume the form of any of the listed creatures below, able to shift isolated regions of its body or completely transform. The creature will attempt to transform multiple times throughout the quest.
