Overview
Sir Maximus Meowsalot is a cat who fancies himself a knight fighting for all kittykind. He thinks anything remotely feline-like is a "kitty" to be rescued. His best friend Sancho Pawza tries to keep him from getting too delusional or into too much mischief, but he doesn't always succeed.
Appearance
Sir Meowalot is an anthropomorphic black-and-white domestic cat with green eyes. He stands approximately 30 inches (76 cm) tall and weighs about 15 pounds (7 kg). Though blissfully ignorant of his diminutive size, on occasion he can be quite a bit more dangerous than his appearance might suggest. He dons a knight's uniform with helmet and wields a cat toy on a stick he considers his "sword."
Personality
Despite his delusions of grandeur, Sir Meowsalot has a kind heart and is loyal to a fault—unless he perceives you as a threat to kitties, in which case he brandishes his cat-toy sword and challenges his opponent to a duel. When angered, Sir Meowsalot becomes very hot-headed, ferocious, and impulsive. He otherwise assumes an unassuming, demure personality, albeit a very easily distracted one. He is also prone to giving in to is catlike instincts.
History
One day two ordinary housecats managed to escape a crazy old lady's hoard of nearly a hundred cats. They wandered into the Land of Wonder, where something magical happened: they both stood up on two feet and gained human-like sentience and sapience, becoming Sir Maximus Meowsalot and Sancho Pawza! As a result of their past lives, Sir Meowsalot and Pawza have a fear of little old ladies, all of whom Sir Meowsalot perceives as the gravest threat to all of kittykind.

Sancho Pawza: A furry orange fellow feline who is Sir Meowsalot's best friend and trusty sidekick. Sancho (often reluctantly) follows Meowsalot on his adventures, trying to keep him from getting too confused or into too much trouble, though he's not always successful in this venture. When Meowsalot is in kitty-knight mode, he believes Sancho is his squire. Sancho is quite a bit larger and heftier than Meowsalot. He is very laid-back and calm-headed and enjoys food and lazing around, despite Meowsalot's antics leaving little time for such things.
