Oh, yeah, that was really badass!
At least… it was up until the moment that pure, unfiltered raw sewage poured from a broken pipe down on them, giving Morrigan an impromptu suit that absolutely ruined their fine suit even more than it had already been destroyed.
They blew a bit of wet, goopy hair from their face and glowered at the remaining men.
“I can’t believe you would ruin my suit like this!” They screeched, completely oblivious to the fact that they had been the one to ruin their own suit with their own stupid, impulsive actions. In the end, it didn’t really matter. Someone had utterly ruined their suit, DEFINITELY NOT THEMSELVES, and Morrigan was going to rain hell down on these criminals.
Cirice calling out to them from above reminded Morrigan that it was probably time to stop fucking around and get rid of these chumps. They brought their fingers to their lips, letting out a sharp whistle into the air above. For a moment, nothing happened, no doubt forcing Cirice Lunestre and the others to question Morrigan’s sanity.
They smirked.
“Oh, come on, they’re bluffing! There’s no way they’ve actually got something as horrifying as a dragon up their sleeve.” One of the thugs cried, gesturing towards the dancing dragon that was still jingling uselessly in the room, a dopey smile on its face. “Come on, kill that impostor!”
“Oh, I dunno.” Morrigan tapped their chin. “Is a second dragon as horrifying as the first?”
A second later, Bubbles descended from the sky with a roar of hellfire down on the remaining thugs. They didn’t stand a chance. Morrigan could only manage a coy, innocent grin at the carnage in front of them before turning to Cirice, the sewers burning below them. The wings on their back fluttered as they made their way up to the ground floor.
“There, that’s that taken care of. Job well done-!”
“You there! Stop!”
Morrigan paled as one of the guardsmen across the street recognized the fellblood, pointing his spear at them as he charged. Morrigan grabbed Cirice’s wrist, tugging her close to the dragon. “Oh, shit, come on, we’ve gotta go!”
They’d nearly forgotten that even though they’d accomplished the mission, as far as the rest of Sol City was concerned, Morrigan Moonweaver would forever be the Attorney at Large.
