The small being now know as Elrodan started healing Natsunats-Shun. Throkka sat on the bed next to them as he kept an eye on the downed man. The crow flew off his shoulder, flying outside the tent crawing and calling for the guards ordered by the other lady. "It's ok, the guest you had was ill mannered" he answered her. 

She went to get the inside the tent back in order; While she waited for the tea to be done. A couple of guards walk into the tent then asking what is going on, the woman explain the situation. The dragonkin let them take the downed man away. 

"Your welcome ma'am, hello Kamille my name is Throkka" he said as Kamille got me a cup of tea. "Thank you" a quick reply as he toke a sip of the tea pretty good. Throkka felt some changes to his body not from the tea but from a power that the man has been feeling for a while. First he felt 2 symbols form on his body; a pair of wings appear at the upper part of the back stretching from shoulder blade to shoulder blade. While a shield appeared on his chest where his heart would be. Lastly he felt magic flow through him it consist of kindness, hope, and light.

As Elrodan moved back from the lady, his healing complete, he looked at the dragonkin. "Throkka, are you in any need of healing? Don't worry, I won't take any slight if you choose to refuse it and want to bare the scars of battle. My time with Izanami has taught me you can be very proud of your fighting."

He then watched as the dragonkin took on some unexpected features. "Are you OK? You seem to have... Hmm... Grown is the wrong word. Produced some extra features."

Then he realised why the two were here. "Oh! How was your fight? Have you seen any of the others? Do you know if Izanami is in the arena? I said I would watch her fights. Who won? Are you looking forward to the next match? When will that be? I guess it's too early to know who you will be against?" his normal barrage of questions coming as he looked between the pair.

"Yes I'm due for some healing" he said to Elrodan. Some new changes over the dragonkin body went smoothly. The power new is gonna take some time to get use to.

Another barrage of question sent Throkka way and answer the questions as they come. "The fight went very well, I manage to get Natsunats close enough to some damage and what ended the fight for them was me putting a tight hold on her." he said. " I have a little feud with Izanami, I'm not up to date on her fight. Who ever I face will before me anyway." the dragonkin finally said with confidence.

Kamille watched as the dragonkin seemed to undergo some changes, without any shame.

"This is very interesting... Do you naturally have an enhanced healing rate? Does this happens all the time? It's very curious, never seen it before..."

Then, she took herself some of the restorative tea - her mind almost forgot she had just been attacked, so curious as to the stories of actual champions. Her body was still recovering though, and she couldn’t help but feel grateful for Elrodan. She talked with Throkka still.

"So your fight went mostly meelee? I wouldn’t want to be up against you, if you don’t mind me saying..."

     "CRAW! GUARDS! GUARDS! GUAAAAAAAAAAAAARDS!" I startled a little at the rough screaming.

Waving off Kamille’s apologies for the messy interior. I would be more concerned if you were well prepared to get stabbed, I thought, but the opportunity passed before I could decide whether or not the joke would be appreciated.

I thanked Elrodan, relaxing and closing my eyes as I felt his magic go through me, knitting together the cracks in my wing bones and realigning my ankle. Then I introduced myself Kamille after I took the tea cup she handed to me.

“I’m Nastunats-Shun, you can call me Natsuna if it’s too long for you.”

       The guards came and went, I sipped my tea as they dragged away the perpetrator. I was mostly content to sit back and let Throkka do most of the talking, wondering if I could jump in to ask him about the tattoos that appeared on him in the few minutes that I’d closed my eyes, or if I should open with offering to help tidy. Kamille beat me to asking Throkka about his new patterning, so I went with option b. I tested out my newly healed foot, ruffled my wings and fixed my self, before asking the black clad lady who was studying Throkka’s body.

“Would-would  you like some help with...this?” I gestured to the things that's been left on the floor in favour of offering us hospitality.

"Thank you for being a good patient Natsunats-shun. Right, Throkka, your turn." he smiled at Natsuna and moved to the dragonkin. "Hold steady now." once again, the green glow appeared on his hands as he moved over the wounds.

"If you don't mind me asking, what is the feud you have with Izanami?" he asked as he finished up with healing. He could imagine some reasons why but he was curious as to what his reason was. 

Flying back he then looked about a bit before settling down up on the top shelf by his cup. He shuffled back a little and watched the others, gently falling into his own thoughts. 

Usually, Kamille would insist that Natsuna would remain still and recovering her strength. However, she witnessed first hand how much of a capable healer Elrodan was, and knew she was perfectly fine. Probably.

"Only if you feel like you're okay, Natsuna. I would rather have you just rest."

Once again, she started to tidy up the tent, arranging the instruments, linen bandages and everything else on the table. She turned to talk to Natsuna while she arranged everything.

"I'm sure you fought well too. Did you come from far? It is exciting to be a part of an event this big!"

Bloodied and weak, the figure of a half-elf dressed in tattered silver and blue could be seen walking slowly out of the arena. It had been a fight, her first ever one and against a very strong dragonkin. She was lucky to have made it out alive, although the state she was in spoke volumes about how hard she had fought. Burn marks on her body from the dragonkin's flame magic. Lilianne wasn't sure if she could survive, much less win the fight. If she hadn't saved most of her mana for the later half of the fight, she would have fell victim to Izanami's continual offense. 

The half elf had been lucky indeed.

And now that it was all over, the silver-haired woman made her way out of what was left of the arena, having been declared the victor of the first round. Her mind was blank, her body ached all over, and there was no room for her to process the victory. Instead, she had been told that it was probably a smart thing to go to the medical tent to heal up before the next round. The tournament turned into something serious. Having come to the arena with the thought of just participating, the fact that she had won the first round changed her thinking slightly. 

She was a capable fighter after all...

If there was anything she learned from Izanami, it was that having a lot of mana or even experience in combat had nothing to do with the outcome. On the battlefield, there was nothing she could count on but herself, and every step she took and didn't take could turn the tide at any point. This was a valuable lesson for the amateur fighter, knowing that the second round was probably going to be up against someone stronger than Izanami, if not more experienced. For now though, she was going to focus on treating her wounds to prepare for the upcoming battle.

          I nodded to Kamille and Elrodan before picking up the thing closest to me- the sheet of the bed I'd been sitting on, flung away and crumpled from the fight- and took a moment to anwer. "It's definitely exciting….though I'm not much of a fighter myself" I smiled wryly "You… coouuld probably tell from how short the match was. And from how many more broken bones I had". I picked up a stray roll of stray roll of gauze, re-rolling it as I continued. "A-and yes, I've traveled some way, I come from…" (Frost Gale, or is that too vague?) "...Bleakfort, though I signed up for the competition when I was making a pit stop in Sol City." I looked up from my hands and placed the newly rolled gauze with the others. "What about you?"

"Don't beat yourself up, dear. We often learn more through failures and loss than through successes. You strike me as the artistical type, I must say."

Kamille has never seen someone like Natsuna before, but she tried not to stare much. She seemed to be the shy type, and apparently got the shorter end of the stick for getting her first fight against a burly dragonkin like Throkka.

"I'm from Moonglade, though I was raised here at Sol City. Thanks for the help."

She turned to arrange her things on the table, and as she raised her eyes, a familiar figure entered the tent.

"Lily! You came!"

Kamille excitedly pulled Lilianne in for a gentle hug, quickly noticing her state. It was clear she was in a fight, and she would want to know everything about it in a moments notice. But first...

"Elrodan, another one. Come sit here, Lily. Who were you up against? Tell me all about it!"

His mind snaps back to focus as Kamille calls out his name. Looking up to see a half-elf that looked truly beaten, further more, Kamille seemed to know her. Well a friend of hers will undoubtedly be a friend of his. Jumping down from his perch he slowly flew towards Lily, waiting for her to be guided to a bed and sat.

When Kamille was done and the woman sat he moved around Kamille and looked at the half-elf, trying to asses all of her wounds. "Hi there, my name is Elrodan. Please, feel free to talk but try to not to be too animated. You may feel a slight tingle but don't worry, there should be no hurt." As he moved about, he started to see ever more injury. Burns, stabs and slashes. Whoever she had been up against really did a number on her. 

This would take quite a bit of concentration. Closing his eyes for a moment to focus on the energies around, he musters a strength of his healing and his whole hand emits a strong green light. Working first on the more major wounds, setting bones and the deep tissue injuries. 

It seemed like she wasn't the only injured one...

Lilianne stood in the doorway of the tent, seeing familiar and unfamiliar faces. Of course, her eyes drifted and landed on Kamille, her friend from Moonglade. As the other woman noticed her, she would call out to the half-elf, embracing her. The small squeeze of a hug was enough to make Lilianne wince slightly, the wounds on her body a little more serious than she herself imagined. "Kamille! Although this was not how I imagined we would meet at the tournament, I'm probably more glad to see you here than anything..." She smiled earnestly at her friend, before noticing a fairy coming towards them. 

"Elrodan, I see. Pleased to meet you." She was ushered towards one of the empty beds and sat down, taking a good look at the fairy. "I'm Lilianne..." The woman didn't really know what else to say, she was saved from further conversations as he tended to her injuries. The green light from his hands indicated that he was indeed a healer. "Thank you for tending to me." She looked around at the others, not recognizing most of them. Had they all been in a fight somehow? Lilianne guessed that it was the most rational of explanations seeing as the medical tent was for all tournament participants. Her aquatic hues settled on a dragonkin, the memories of having just fought someone of the same race flooding her mind. 

"I'll tell you all about it later, Kamille. I don't even know where to start!"

While Elrodan got busy doing the main - and whole - part of the healing process, Kamille went to grab a restorative tea for Lilianne, just like she offered the others. Once Elrodan was done, she approached again and offered Lilianne a cup of the tea.

"Tell me everything. Did you win? Who were you up against? I wanted to watch the fights, but then I overheard that all healers were sick... And so me and Elrodan came here to help tend the wounded. In reality it's just Elrodan doing the bulk of the job, I'm just his assistant, I guess."

She seemed really happy to see Lilianne again.

"Also... We might need to delay our drink, if you don't mind..."

As wild and unusual as it sounded, Kamille... blushed.

Elrodan finished and sat down on the bed further back. "If.. Kamille you could mix up a soothing ointment, I think those burns could use it. There was a lot... I'll be fine in a while, just... a short moment". He also wanted to listen to the story she was about to tell. 

He wondered if the opposition would be coming in too. He wondered what they would look like, this must have been an incredible fight to watch. He again wondered what Izanami would be doing and how she was doing in her fight. 

He knew Kamille recognised her, and wondered if this was the bard that she had spoken of earlier. He didn't think so, there didn't seem to be any instruments on her but then again, he wasn't looking too hard. 

While the fairy busied himself with caring for her wounds, Lilianne could tell that Kamille was a lot more concerned with the tournament itself than her injuries. She couldn't help but giggle as the woman blushed, even though she was unsure why she was blushing. The half-elf thought for a moment, wondering where to start with her story. There was a little too much she didn't know about her opponent herself to really formulate a good story from start to finish. But she guessed she could fill her and the fairy in on what she did know. 

"Well, I fought a dragonkin. She was a beautiful one and quite powerful. Maybe you'll get to see her around too. She has light blue hair and two twin dragon tails." She began first by describing Izanami. "I have to admit, I haven't had to spar for my life before so it was definitely an experience. Wherever she's from, people there seem to take their fights very seriously..." The elf flinched in pain as her injuries were still being tended to. 

"The arena had palm trees, sand and a small body of water. It looked very nice." Lilianne had genuinely liked the arena of the first round. "Though there wasn't much left of it when we were finished admittedly..." She shuddered at the thought of the beautiful arena being turned into oblivion by mostly Izanami. "I thoroughly enjoyed the fight..." The woman found herself saying before she could stop herself. She was not one who enjoyed combat, but somehow the fight had sparked a sudden passion for it that she never felt before.
